  1. What? I never said that.

    News flash:

Humans are evil. We kill, lie, steal, rape, beat, and all other manner of terrible things.

Humans are weak. We give up, we lose, we fail, we sin, we drop out, we commit suicide when we can't hack it.

Like a wise man once said (the wisest one who ever lived, in fact) "Life is vanity." Everything we do, everything we strive for and put our hearts into dies. Our lives are like dust in the wind, and the world moves on like we never even existed. Reality is harsh, and you can nut up or not, it doesn't matter in the end. All I have to go on is my belief in God. Don't tell me God has nothing to do with it, when the only one who can possibly give us any vindication or justification for our puppyed up lives is Him.

I'm not saying that you'll avoid suicide if you believe in God, because you're still a human. You still mess up, regardless. I believe suicide is wrong and there isn't a good reason for it, but that won't stop people from doing it, will it? Hell, someday I may even commit suicide and prove myself wrong. That's why humans suck. That's why glory belongs to God, and not us.

Who the puppy is this God guy?

  2. Well, I believe in God, and I believe He has everything to do with it.

So, you can get raped and beaten all your life, as long as you love god, you'll be okey and avoid suicide? Bull.

  3. You're correct, it isn't my place to judge. However, it doesn't change my opinion. My God teaches that life is sacred, and that's what I believe. Hardships come around all the time, yet most people don't commit suicide. I've seen some people go through some pretty rough things, and they were still praising God. It's all willpower and faith, I guess. Mind over matter.

Please, "God" has nothing to do with this... This is real life, not some fairytale, growing up with violence, rape and all kinds of poo would destroy a person, christian or not.

  4. Maybe I would, or maybe I wouldn't. Who can say? All I can give is the opinion and beliefs that I have now.

But if you haven't been suicidal, you don't know how it is, and therefore can't judge it. It's like saying gays don't exist, just because you're straight.

  5. Most reasons for suicide aren't very good reasons, as they could eventually be solved or fixed with enough effort. I can't think of any good reason, besides maybe paralysis or something that completely disrupts your daily life and makes it hell.

If you suffer from heavy trauma, depressions etc. etc. you wouldn't say the same thing.

  6. I remember finding this site while browsing for info about TP back in the day. Then I just joined and did get some pretty good friends here fast. Most of them are however inactive at the site now, which is pretty sad. I know I'm not the most active member, but I try to visit the site whenever I get the chance. 'Cause Hyrule.net still means a lot to me, and it would break my heart to see it dead.

  7. It's a very sad and heavy subject. A good friend of mine killed himself, almost a year ago now. My girlfriend almost died in a pretty bloody suicide attempt some years ago. So yeah, it's pretty personal for me. I think every human thinks about killing himself once in a while though, some just take it a step further, for various reasons.

  8. I agree with DUstin, but with today's economic system, it's gonna take a 1000 years. Seriously. We have to stop focusing on our corrupt politicians, profit and all that bullshit, and start focusing on humans and technology. By focusing on humans, I mean understanding humans. Understanding our psychology, and thereby understanding why we're here, and how to make the best out of our situation, not just flow with our current flow, but actually change the system. If that made any sence whatsoever.

  9. I don't really read mangas, but I do own the 4 first series of the Buddha Manga, and intend to get them all. If you haven't read them, you should. It's epic.

  10. agnostic/atheist. I'm pretty sure that none of the modern day religions have any sense of truth in them, but I am open to new ideas and theories that melt together with our definition of religion, if that made any sense what so ever.

  11. Drugs are evil, and mess up your body even if you just take them "once in a while". It builds up over time, and then people complain why they have so many medical problems and don't know why. Same for cigarettes and even candy. I don't and will never take/do any of that.

Candy? Wow, you're hard core straight edge. I'm quitting cigarettes, hash I will be smoking for a while though, even though I'm actually cutting down on that too. Alcohol is the worst poo you can get in your body though, that I'm completely through with.

  12. Public schools ban books too. Mine banned the same list of books and more. Censorship for the win!

It's actually pretty shocking. Schools shouldn't ban things, schools are for educating people, and showing them as many aspects as possible of society. I think all pupils should teach everything from nazism to capitalism to communism. Then they can judge them themselves.

  13. They are a private school eyeoftruth. There are certian laws that don't allow public schools to do this, but private schools are free to do whatever the hell they want. And, you can be racist in America, as long as you don't commit acts of violence or threaten to commit them.

Private schools should be under heavy regulation. Actually, they shouldn't excist at all. Education is not something people should make money of.

  14. That sounds good :) We all have our problems, and it's always nice when you see another person's problems gets solved :)
