    I've never heard of H-Mart, but it kind of reminds me of K Mart. Though I could go for some sea food right now.

    I guess it does make me feel a little better... It's ok though. I learned to not care. (That's not true. I'm actually more highly emotional now than I have ever been.) Life outside of school is actually a lot worse than I thought.

    As of right now it's 141 pages long with over 30,000 words. It's about a boy from the future who lives a life of solitude since his parents died and his uncle left him. Then one day he heard a strange noise and he followed it. It was a weird vortex and a hand came out and pulled him in.

    That's like the first chapter, but it's abridged.

     

    Also I was poking around the past, trying to remember the good old days. I found this...

     

    @Marquis I wish you would leave... No wait, I'd much rather YLA leave. At least I can see some good in you, if only very little.

    These guys keep saying it's not strictly an LoZ site, but really we ONLY mention LoZ when we are yelling at each other. By "each other" I mean YLA. So yea, don't expect too much LoZ talk at all.

    It's about an alien invasion. There's also side story about a Dark Realm and the main character meets his dark side and all that. I'd say it's great, but that's biased of me to say.

    Uh... hi. *Looks around* I keep vanishing and I don't like it because I get busy. I'm just checking in though... How are you all? I'm doing well. I finished writing my book and now I'm editing it and I need to get an editor to get it officially checked. I'm also going to start college in August so maybe I'll time. Maybe. Though I am getting a part time job... Plus my friend and I are planning on doing LP's... Nah it'll be fine. (I think I've said that a million times over.)

    Also since last time I beat Link's Awakening making it so that I have beaten every Zelda game to date. Yay. I wish that meant something in life...

    So my friend now has her hopes on writing a book and getting it published by Febuary 14th. She started yesterday... She also wants me to write my book along side her. By the way I'm writing a book. An actual book.

    reminds me that i really need to drink more water :/ i need to get some tea bags and a giant pitcher to stuff in my fridge, i hate drinking plain water :<

    pizza rolls are cheap too, but with all that junk food, expect to swell up like a blimp :,<

    at the very least, id suggest getting some celery to chop up to throw in your ramen--get some vegetables in you, and learn to cook simple things like grilled cheese and egg dishes. they dont make a lot of mess, and theyre pretty quick to make.

     

    other things that are basically out of the box are curry and hamburger/tuna/chicken helper. stir fry and basically anything that would go on rice is a good move too. then theres pasta, which consists of boiling noodles and adding sauce (and spices, if you like). boiled chicken breast/thighs/legs/wings with some sort of spice (put chicken and spice in bag/tupperware, shake) is good, too, even if the spice is just garlic :> then theres things like muffins, which are a package with just milk, sandwiches, cereal, meatballs--after a certain point, its just a matter of going into the grocery store and figuring out what you can improvise with.

    True. I usually eat ramen when I'm home alone and starving. Though that's the good thing about living with my parents. I don't have to cook for myself.

    Learn to cook, it's not very hard once you get into it and I like to think as a valuable skill.

     

    In most cases if you can read directions and follow them, you can probably cook.

    I can read directions and follow them. My problem is I'm lazy. >_<

    That is true, but I still can't cook very well. Though I guess I'll face the fact and just go with not eating out. Especially since the only place I went is Subway and they aren't $5 anymore.

    So my friend wants me to save up for college, which I want to, but she's making me cut back on buying things. Such as video games, which is understandable, but also food. If I want to eat, I have to cook it at home or eat what I have already made at home. No going out and buying food. >_<

    During my leave, my friend and I started Gears of War. We're currently on the 3rd game and I'm very excited for this one. However my other friend is like, "You're saving for college so no more buying video games." Lol she doesn't know me very well.

    Thanks. I worked hard for a week on it.

     

    Oh also I bought a combustible lemon from Portal 2. When you pull the string it vibrates. It was fun scaring my friend by putting it on her back when she wasn't paying attention.

    yeah, there are con horror stories, and not-so-fun con experiences :/ ive had friends whose friends ditched them too, it sucks. hope your next con is better though :>

     

    i should find pictures of my awful cosplay. no matter how much gravity screwed with yours, itll probably make you feel a lot better about it.

    Eh. It could have been worse.

    basic weight vs adhesive, ugh. i had an issue with a carefully crafted plaster chestplate once. i learned that you cannot get elastic to stick to plaster with hot glue, or anything else, really. my worst cosplay ever.

     

    have you thought about straps? like, shoulder straps or something? the kind you usually find on fake wings? black straps would work well, given the tunics shape and the blax spandex shirt/shorts he has under them. if you can, id say to try to build them into the wings, so that you dont have the same adhesion/weight separation issue.

    Eh. I tried velcro and it failed. So I had no wings.

     

    Didn't matter though. The weekend was a disaster. First my card wouldn't work so no hotel. Next my friends' car wouldn't start. So we went in anyway. 5 minutes after paying my friend in, he left to go to the hotel where we were supposed to stay at where he met friends leaving me and my other friend. Everytime we called he'd say, "I'll be one second," and we wouldn't hear from him for an hour until we called. That lasted until 11 when my friend got pissed and called him and then he got mad and she got mad and we went to the rave. Then we stayed at our other friends' house at a campus. My friend got drunk and passed out.

     

    Today I didn't even see my friend so we basically hung out and then left him. It was just stupid. I'll put up a picture later when I get it.

    LL, please, it's a toga. Also I didn't have enough time to make the swords either. I mean I just started this like a week ago. I knew it would fail the minute my friend said, "Let's cosplay," because she wants everything perfect and perfection can not be made in a week of work.

    I wiill, but the wings keep falling off so my last resort is velcro and I doubt it will work, but I'll try to get a pic before they fall off. I mean if they fall of they'll have to stay in the car because I'm not lugging them around.

    Same. I've been working and I've been busy and I was at my friends' house and I was almost done with my costume and thought about Hyrule.net. So I left there just to come on... and to finish the rest of my costume without her complaining at me every 5 minutes because I screwed something up.
