I think generally it was a good idea, but Nintendo didn't implement it very well, at least not to it's full potential and they made some odd design decisions.

There are plenty of good developers for the DS, they just haven't made any good games recently, except possibly professor Layton( the game, forgotten who the developer is for that)...

The being rescued is similar to never dying in the previous games, because you could go back about 10 seconds and the prince would attribute it to his extremely bad memory ("that's not how it happened")

Some songs get put in other games. They're probably going to make 10 more of the things, so they need to leave some.
I only recognise like 2-3 songs per game anyway...

If you want to eek out the gameplay on Mirror's edge, try doing the time trials and speedruns, they get really addicitve.

Most games you can beat in 6 hours on an easy difficulty....

fine, Nintendo shouldn't show us ANYTHING about the game until they have it all locked down and are sure it will all work in the game.
That way, we won't get any videos or anything until a month or so before release...
It's part of the game development process, things get taken out because they don't work with the game, cause glitches or other issues etc. If you get so hacked off about seeing things in beta and then not being in the final game, then don't watch any of the videos until just before it's about to come out!

I've had my top two canines (milk teeth) pulled out because the new ones were being pushed forwards and not eroding the roots of the old ones. So for a while I had two layers of top canines and I looked a lot like a vampire...

Yeah, the corner's on my first one got mushed up a bit.
Second one was in an envelope with something else though, so that one was crisp and unused, might be quite cool to use it to send a card to someone.

you can top OoT easily (for example, get the original OoT and add a muffin).
It's just most people are too bloody minded to realise...
