"we need news" e3 passes by, three news threads posted.
All I'm saying is, a site with low member count and ZERO news submitters shouldn't be picky. Make everyone who showed interest a news submitter and appoint one an editor. He can review each one and make sure the grammar/spelling/info is correct, then give the okay and they can post it. Then we will have news.
Later on, once new members come and we have an established news team, we can afford to be a bit more picky choosy.

It would help if we could put them on the front page. Instead of in a submit news area where no one sees them. And no one will move them.

Yeah I'd like to stream (like on twitch or something of that nature), record (maybe start up an official H.net channel if there isn't one already), and video conference (so that we can chat with each other and make it enjoyable. Solo let's plays are generally boring) all at the same time.

I'll start up a let's play on a Zelda game. I'm thinking Ocarina of Time, just because I know it so well. Though, Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword are good too. I'd really like to somehow have video conferencing while we're playing, as well as recording and streaming if we can. That kind of stuff can get expensive.

I'm willing to do whatever's necessary but we all have to work on this if it's going to work.
It doesn't help that none of us have an avid interest in Zelda since we'll all be doing this stuff either for free or out of pocket. That's why it's critical we work together on this.

If we need new members, we need new ways of attracting traffic. A weekly podcast, let's play videos of us playing Zelda games with commentators, reviews of Zelda games, and for God's sake we need to have some very up to date news posts. I get that we're a Zelda site, but Zelda news is few and far between. We need general video game related news as well.
