I think that's something they should've strived to achieve on the PS4 then, Chase. It's an ability that made the PS2 shine as well as the Wii. Even the Wii U can play Wii games. It's just a feature that Sony was the first to ever do (of the big three at least) and it was expected on later systems. The PS3 at launch had the ability to play both PS1 and PS2, but the ability for PS2 was later removed due to costs and this is still complained about to this day.

Now, with the PS4 there is no backwards compatibility at all. It's just upsetting that the company that created such an amazing feature would be the one to remove about it.

No but I agree with you. The fact that they aren't supporting backward compatibility is baffling to me since I've paid so much to them digitally. I'm just saying they don't "owe" it to us. I can still play all my ps3 games on my ps3.
