So apparently there were originally planned to be alternate endings in Skullgirls' story mode, before they decided it was one ending per character, so some people dug through the game files and found the text for them. Among them is peacock's, which is the best ending

The rain falls heavy on MM's shack in the woods, visible only for the blue glow of the computer screen illuminating the condensation on the windows. MM has not gone outside for days, and is beginning to lose his sense of time. It rains day and night, and clouds cover what little sky he can make out past the dense forestation around his home. It could be nighttime. It could be daytime. He's long since disabled the clock on his computer, and reset his time zones on multiple sites, intent on divorcing himself from reality.
 
He logs onto VGF.net.

MM cycled through hundreds of tabs, on his bi-hourly refresh frenzy. Surely one of these dead forums had some new content. He needed something to distract him from himself, and the emptiness of the life that existed outside of his internet persona. Apart from a couple posts on MilfBoards.net and a new Misanthopist.com article, there was a new thread on VGF.net. A roleplaying game. And not just some dead fantasy roleplay either. Something a bit more accessible. A forum roleplay. This could be fun.
