Gonna take my driving test tomorrow morning and I gotta pass so I can fucking drive to Colossalcon because the next time I could possibly take the test is DURING THE CON.

 

My skin has cleared up a lot. Even the faint scars that I had. I never had terrible acne on my face it was just like always lingering. I discovered that I touch my jaw and mouth area when I sleep. I sleep in like a "the thinker" pose, so that explains a lot. I haven't been shaving much so I think the oils or whatever are helping my skin heal. And the fact that I don't have to horribly irritate dry out my face by shaving a lot.

I'm not a book read but I am very much enjoying this season. Though I'm just happy to see new stuff, mostly, I think.

That was always one of my favourite aspects of Game of Thrones. Somehow it fools you into not believing in magic. You don't feel it could really have that much power, and I still wonder how deep the magic goes.

Now that Game of Thrones has got really close to the point the books have reached, they're stripping down the plot to a few plotlines. Omitting new plotlines the books introduced and generally cutting back on plot a lot more than they had in the past. It's really just starting to feel more and more like fanfiction. It's really disappointing. Season 5 is certainly the weakest of all so far, for how diluted it is. It's difficult to tell how this series seems to someone who isn't familiar with the books, but I like that, even to someone who hasn't read the books, there's something a bit less rich about the plot of season 5. It's feeling more obvious.

One of my regular customers at said above new job came in today and gave me a reaaaaally fancy box of chocolates out of the blue, as thanks for letting him occasionally dump his shopping and shit in our stockroom and in general being "such a lovely young person". Really sweet and kind of him, I wish the other 99% of customers we got were as nice as him it'd just make work so much more bearable. 
 
Also apparently my coworker's boyfriend's friend came into the shop one time when I was on and went away and mentioned to her that he thought the "new girl" was a "total shy hottie". I'm gonna take it as a (hilarious admittedly) compliment. Especially since I don't often put much effort into my appearance for work lol. It's been a day to smile about (for once) at work! <:

Here's a few quick common criticisms for the game that you should know before you play it. No spoilers, don't worry:
 
The game plays itself. I mean it doesn't really, but all of the challenging bits only come late in the game. For say, 66% of the game, it's very forgiving. The plot is just absurd. Typical Generic Anime Cool-rather-than-sensible absurd. Things will happen that are a ton of fun and cool to look at, but this game is skin deep. You have to buy the end of the game as DLC. No, really. Asura's Wrath is told in 22 episodes, and 19-22 have to be bought for $7. I know selling games used is a real problem for games studios, but this isn't the solution. If you can get beyond all of that, like I did, then you'll probably have an actually pretty enjoyable experience. I actually enjoyed this game a lot, and would play it again if I had the means to. I'm just annoyed that they actually make you pay for the ending of the game.
