Cascade

Although, my love of Steins;Gate is most likely also very annoying to people, at least to the ones who frequent the chat. Poor Double has to deal with it daily.
 
 
 
Anyway, so I did a lot of anime last night. First and foremost is The Cat Returns, which I watched twice since my friend and I watched it while everyone was asleep and thought it was amazing enough that everyone should enjoy it. Cascade, you're probably upset and saying "I told you so" 20 times over right now because this is now one of my favorite movies. It's just so adorable, feelgood, heartwarming, everything that could possibly be nice. The comedy is also high up there, but maybe that was just because I was watching it with friends, it was still hilarious. Every character in the movie was enjoyable in their own way, and there were around 10~15 characters, it was just too fantastic.
 
Next up was Eve no Jikan movie, or Time of Eve, which I'd forgotten most parts of, so it was nice to refresh my memory. The way it used the music a bunch to highlight the delusions some characters would think up and then cut the music completely was hilarious. The characters and their stories were kind of heartbreaking, but they always chose to look on the brighter side of things and help/love each other more and more as the movie progressed, which was nice. It had a really comfortable atmosphere to it in the cafe that they all met at, like I'd want to visit it myself and talk with the people there and become friends with them.
 
The last one I watched, well the last one I'm posting about anyway, were the first two episodes of Giant Robo, which I honestly didn't know what I was going into, but I was completely blown away by the amazing high quality of the animation of something from the 1990's. After that, I just kept liking it more and more with the characters and their abilities/interactions or with the way it displayed the backstory of Franken Von Vogler, which at first seemed really strange, but was just so unique that I ended up really loving the strobelight kind of effect it had to it. I really loved that effect, it was just such a menacing and great way to get across the point "this guy is evil." Although, I feel like if this is as good as people rate it, maybe he has his reasons.
 
 
Glad I went over Philbo's, watched some really great anime. The Cat Returns was especially fantastic. Arigatou, Kasukeidou-chan (And NikuNiku-kun for picking it for us to watch).

I remember I used to really want to be a primary school teacher when I was a kid... that plan kinda fell through once I realized I absolutely can't stand children. Child!me would be absolutely devastated by the fact.
 
I don't even know what I want to do nowadays. Maybe I'll just marry into money or something...

I wish our family would go back to using fake trees. It's easier to decorate and set-up and you don't have to clean up so many pines EVERYWHERE when it goes down. and also a fake tree won't end up sitting outside your house rotting for months because the local council is too lazy to actually pick up rubbish.
 
Our tree this year is the most midget-ey, fattest tree I've ever seen. Didn't even get a 1/4 of our usual decorations on it. It's so pathetic lol. I christened him "Wee Fat". I can't wait for him to leave ):

I'm actually caught up on Kill la Kill sooner than expected. Let me also declare that I have hopped on the hype-train for episode 12. Spoils for 11 ahead.

Dude... the latest two episodes of Kill la Kill... pheo I know I said I couldn't watch this weekend but I (unsurprisingly) ended up staying up all night and decided to watch them and holy shit I will definitely rewatch those with you whenever because they were so puppyin' good DON'T BE MAD.

Been watching Revolutionary Girl Utena recently. I wasn't so sure about it at first since I usually dont like anime from the 90's all that much (mostly because of the style of the art and animation), but I actually really like it. I could do without the repeated music sequence every episode (its like over a minute long and is the exact same thing every time). Its definitely a very odd series, but it has a certain subtlety to it in the character's relationships, and there's a lot of deconstruction of stereotypes.
 
Also its super queer and gives me major shipping feels, so there's that :3

I really hate to burst your bubble of smack-talking pheo, t1g, but I'm pretty certain he's talking about a Butterfree with Compound Eyes, which increases the accuracy of moves hitting? At least I'm sure Butterfree can get that ability... again i'm really sorry I understand how fun it is to knock him down a peg...
 
also, I am currently training the "ideal" (extreme emphasis on the quotation marks) delibird which i'm going to use for my ice-type monotype teams at some point so god help me it is the shittiest thing. it doesn't even deserve to be an ice-type man. how did they puppy up the pokemon equivalent to santa so much... it's a fun idea on paper ):

This may be a shock, since everyone thinks of me as an animal-lover, but I don't have any pets right now :< I'll probably get something when I finally move out and have my own place. a bunbun most likely. BUT FOR NOW, cute pictures on the internet is all I have...
 
I DID, however, used to have three hamsters with three really lame, unimaginative names. but that was a literal decade ago so lol. no pictures i'm afraid. a white one named miss pinky (yeah i don't know), a fat one named mr. brown (it's like the ultimate fat dude name) and a anxious, bitey one named... mr.
