Don't know how accurate that is, but lol. yeah, that combined with the other stuff you said. definitely fake! so disappointing. It's by far the best mega design... could've had it all nintendo... /tear

I really hope this is real, because no other Mega Evolution they can reveal will ever beat out this hilarious bastion of creativity. Seriously. It's beautiful. 10/10 would use in every team

So i finished the lines for it. This image is reduced in size by 50%, but i have the full size file as well, but the finished piece will be this size. I've read that a lot of digital artists work big and then reduce their art size significantly to make their lines sharper and to hide any mistakes that they havent noticed, etc. Though, from what I've read, most of them work at 400% instead of just 200%, but since this was originally a scanned, traditional piece, it was too difficult to work with at 400% (200% of the original piece, 400% of the finished piece) Anyways, as you can see, there is no text. I wanna use an original font for this and future comics. Since im collaborating with my friend, and his hand writing is nicer than mine (when he actually tries) im gonna see if he wants to make the font. The reason i've posted this before it's colored is that my friend and I are gonna color it separately, as in, im giving him the file to color by himself while i do the same. Im awful at coloring, and although he isnt a visual artist, he took graphic design courses in college so he probably has a few tricks up his sleeve that i dont know about. Honestly though, once we compare the two colored pieces, we'll probably end up making a third piece that combines the best of our coloring styles. This is all a practice comic, so we can get in the groove as well as learn to work with each other. We've been very close friends for just over 6 years now, but we've never actually sat down and worked on something like this together. Well we have but we always get stoopid high and it doesnt work. But this time we got the appropriate amount of high lol. Also, ive recently started taking Vyvanse, which is like super Adderall minus the speed. Ive never been able to focus this well before! Not only is my art not frustrating me, i finished this and the pictures in the posts above and probably half the time it would normally take me. Ah man, life is good right now.

These designs do seem less busy than the XY ones. Probably too early to have an opinion, not that I need to have one.

It's hard to shake the idea in my head of "this Mega Evolution's design is a total afterthought" when it actually is an afterthought. That's what is so hard to swallow about these Mega guys. The concept of Mega Evolution in general is fine I guess. But I just look at some of them and just see the thought processes of the design, which equates to bad design IMO

Yeah i agree. For me it was really more of a shock, but now that the dust has settled and we are moving onto the second set of games to feature it, I'm hyped.

I do like how the logic is being changed up. New Pokémon speculation always pissed me off, mostly because the 13-year-olds doing it thought that they knew, as a fact, that there was gonna be a trio (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, etc.), or whatever.

But Mega Slowbro still has a terrible design. It's just the upright shell.

Jojo pretty much defines the Rule of Cool. You know how in the first episode of Stardust Crusaders Joseph states the rules of stands and how they work? That rule gets completely ignored and forgotten for the rest of the series. Its like "yeah sure here's how stands work!" And then he proceeds to destroy the rule and all that it stood for, wipe out all remains of it's history, and salt the earth so that it can never be revived.

Also, the first season of jojo was like that for me too. I remember watching it and going "Why the hell does everyone think I'll like this? This is pretty stupid." But by the end of the season I was like "THIS IS SO INSANE. THIS WHOLE SERIES IS SO INSANE. OH MY GOD." I'm just glad you like jojo, though. You're beginning to see what I mean when I say "It's everything I've ever wanted out of a superhero comic on the polar opposite end of the spectrum of 'Who Watches the Watchmen,'" Right?

I watched the first 4 episodes of the first series. It was good but not nearly as exciting. My plan is to catch up (slowly) on Stardust Crusaders, then go back and watch parts 1 and 2. That way, when i return to Stardust Crusaders, i'll hopefully have a bonus episode or 2 to watch. 
 
Actually, I wanna watch this all with a friend, and be just as surprised as he is when we watch it. But its so addicting. I'm a junkie.

I beat Forsaken Fortress in like 15 min, usually. You only need to destroy a single searchlight, and with the right route, you only need to sneak past one of the two moblins in that one room

I feel so blessed having Jojo in my life now.

Also laughing at the REO Speedwagon reference. Except it's an actual character. omg
