I don't wear anything other than a watch on my wrists.

I don't link them to cutting. Not since the one time at tennis...

Tom: "Woah, is that an arm sock?"

Christine: "It...it's called an arm warmer. Arm sock? Really Tom?"

Tom: "It's cool. Imagine me walking onto the courts wearing these. The other team would give up immediately."

Christine: (half-jokingly) "Would you like to try them on?"

Tom: "...yeah."

Me: "Tom! You are not wearing those onto the courts!"

Tom: "Dude, I look awesome!" (Holds up his fists, immitating a boxer) "Dint you think I would scare off small children like this?"

Me: "I do think you'd scare children. I don't know if the arm socks would have anything to do with it."

Christine: "Can I have my arm warmers back?"

Bill (Tom's brother): "Tom! Why are you wearing those?"

Ryan (Bill's friend): "You know, I always wondered about him..."

Tom: "Hey!"

Anyway, that's why I don't link them to cutting. If such happy people can wear them, they obviously aren't a sign of cutting.

I've worn them before, used to wear them often, but I've never slitted my wrists so obviously I didn't use them to hide it.

I've never worn an armwarmer before, and the only wristbands I've worn are the rubbery ones that support a cure for breast cancer and all that. xD;; If I ever decided to wear a wristband, it would be a Gekkostate one. xD -shot-

A couple of my friends have armwarmers, but they're not into slitting wrists or anything. I'm surprised people can get that conclusion just from a small accessory. =O

It comes with the territory. Wear a wristband and it's assumed you're hiding cuts under it. Razor shag your hair and it's assumed you're scene. Wear flannel and you're automatically from the backwater.

But of course we all know how much of a stereotype is true.

They're not my style, yo.

But I think they look pretty good on other people who fit the style.

those wristbands, especially the ones from Hot Topic, were for the emo or silly supa kawaii anime people.

Wristbands don't look good on anyone. The only people who can really get away with wearing them without sort of remark being made are ones at the gym.

Well, I know this girl who wears them, and I would say it fits her.

She's a cheerful person who puts a lot of emphasis on black and white. That being said, she's pale and wears eyeliner a lot.

I can't imagine her looking any other way, really.

She came to school without eyeliner on one day and it was mindblowing.

That's just her style.

As far as I know, she's not into anime and she doesn't cut her wrists, because she doesn't wear arm warmers all the time, and there is nothing there.

As far as wristbands go, I've never seen anyone who really wears them.

But that's not to say there aren't people who fit them.

Now now, Figurehead. These people are cool, whether they wear them or not.

But not as cool as you.

I bet you feel cool.

'Cause you put people down.

Like the cool kid in school.

Sharing likeness with Joe Camel, or Chester the Cheetah.

Wearin' sunglasses.

'Cause you're cool.

Too cool for school.

But you're in it.

Which is why you're the cool kid in school.

I know the kind you are talking about, Zelda. I never liked those.

I don't wear them, mostly because I pretty much always wear long sleeves and a watch/bracelet.
