Zelda Wii Release Date on IGN

I was on IGN and looked up the new Zelda, and there's a release date for December 31, 2010. I'm pretty sure this is just an estimate from IGN, but why didn't they just put 4th quarter, 2010?

IGN may be just getting people hyped. Even a source like IGN can go corrupt here and there and mislead for the sake of hype.

I'll wait for Nintendo to say something before I settle into that date.

I think dates like that are default for games set to be announced or release around that time period.

Since Shiggy said he was announcing the next Zelda at E3 of next year, they set the release as the end of that year just because?

I don't know, IGN is just such an awful information source sometimes.

TP is not Zelda Wii.

It is Zelda GC, ported to the Wii.

It was not developed exclusively for the Wii.

It is not "Zelda Wii 1".

It's like if they made a sequel to Sonic Heroes and called it "Sonic Heroes Xbox 2", even though it's on multiple consoles.

But Sonic Heroes is terrible.

I wouldn't be able to call TP "Zelda Wii 1," either, because it feels like TP was just a stepping stone for Zelda Wii. An experiment, if you will.

31dec 2010 is lame anyways :/ And a bad Date to sell. make it... 5 jan or 10 jan... anything above 2 or 3 jan is ok.
