We already know that Super Mario 2 that one with Yoshi and baby Mario or something was like at the start, and then Partners in Time will be somewhere around there kind of.

Also there's a huge blank period between baby marios and adult marios where they're just angsty teens not wearing his dungarees because they are uncool.

I think that mario and luigi 3 came after mario and luigi 2, and mario and luigi 1 came out after mario and luigi 3.

I think Mario& Luigi 1 came before Mario & Luigi 2, which came before Mario & Luigi 3, which came before Mario & Luigi 1.

I think the timeline goes something like this.

I think Super Mario Sunshine should go somewhere around the end, because they go on vacation, bla bla blah. But in the end of the game, Bower and his son are trapped on an island, and its unknown if they ever get back to anywhere.

So it might go somewhere near the end, but not the last.

And SM Land 2: 6 Golden Coins should go somewhere near the beginning I believe.

Jared, that reason doesn't even make sense. Mario goes on vaction and they never go back to the Mushroom Kingdom?

I say SMS would come after SMW. At the end of SMW it says, "Mario, Peach, and Yoshi go on vaction," or something like that.

But Yoshi didn't go on vacation with them in SMS, he just randomly appeared on the island, and melts when he falls into water... which is just weird S:
