Posted 4 Mar 2013 Because the japanese and american and every other countries' release date are the same day. The only reason we knew Sylveon's jap name first was because it was leaked. But the next day when it was officially released they gave us all of it's region's names. This isn't gen 5, pheo. They changed the game entirely with the world wide release concept.
