Posted 18 Jul 2007 don't you mean 1337, as in leet? as in elite? as in noob-speak, but nevermind.... In which case you're still not QUITE there yet.
Posted 18 Jul 2007 My summer is alright so far. Though, when me family and some family relatives went to a community pool (Which is an hour drive fom where I live, and we rarely go there.), and ended up not swimmng. Somebody ruined it for everyone when he/she did #2 in the pool....I was especially mad, because I had waited in line for 45 minutes, and at was near the front of the line... >_> We were forced to go back home...I was looking forward to that weekend for days.... Posted 18 Jul 2007 no i don't mean 1337 because 1337 speak is dumb and deserves to burn in hell... try to figure this puzzle out... 1 11 21 1211 111221 312211 13112221 1112213211 ???
Posted 18 Jul 2007 Did you know the word (f-a-g) is not always offensive? In British English, a "(f-a-g)" is a cigarette. EG - a packet of fags. THAT was random, right!?
Posted 18 Jul 2007 What word are you talking about? It got bleeped. (Did the word Scare get its roots from the word scar? It would make since, because if you get scared badly enough, its basically like getting scarred.)
Posted 18 Jul 2007 Um... I've edited the post . Do you make an example of someone who sets a good example? If you are fed up, have you had enough to eat? If you poke fun at someone, are you being funny? Is a grotto grotty? If you are homesick, do you need a vacation? If something is invaluable, is it also valuable? If something is matted, is it made of matting? Just me being random...
Posted 19 Jul 2007 This topic is incredibly random. Yesterday we were talking about revenge on the land of the legend, now we're talking about what happened during the 'sumer vacation' (I would say winter holidays but whatever), now we're talking about word roots and discrepincies in meanings of words in the English Language. Here's one; is something inflammable, flammable?
Posted 19 Jul 2007 Here's one; is something inflammable, flammable? Yup.
Posted 19 Jul 2007 to take a quote from Dr Nick "Don't worry, it's inflammable" *completely catches fire* "I won't tell anybody about this if you don't"
Posted 19 Jul 2007 I looked through a dictionary; flammable means capable of burning and inflammable menas quick to burn. Their meanings are slightly different.
