Posted 9 Nov 2008 My elementary school never head sex ed, or even health class for that matter. And after that I was home-schooled, but anyway....I never got a "talk". I basically just pieced it together from hearing people talk and heath books that my mom checked out of the library for us. Then I read about it in...erm, greater detail, when I started checking out medieval and fantasy novels, like Mercades Lackey and Marion Zimmer Bradley. XD I didn't check out books just for the sex, but I'd be reading this great story and what'dya know, there's a sex scene. So, most of my sex education has been from literature. Though, it's funny with all the talk about protection in this thread, no one ever used it in the books. They hadn't been invented yet. XD
Posted 9 Nov 2008 (edited) If this seems misplaced, you can move it mods. Or make a poll. So, when did you have the talk? Was it explained in great detail? Were your parents embarassed? Did you think it was the right time? Did you even have the talk, or did you find it out first? Share any experiences you had regarding it, mainly when you had it or when you found out about it. I have a confession to make. I didn't get the talk until I was 10 years old!!! I've wondered since that night why they procrastinated, but I have several theories. My parents actually had a book they showed me. I was red the whole time. My dad went over the guy part, mom over the chicks part. They asked me if I had an questions, and I believe I asked "Can you do it standing up?" Sad part is that you really can do it standing. I don't know if I've had the talk or not.I've learned so much about it that I don't know who told me. Long story short; don't EVER stick a dome in your wallet. Or you'll wind up in a situation like mine. I had a happy ending regardless, but you might not That,or just put the wallet in your front pocket or jacket pocket. That's what I do so that it doesn't get stolen [TALKING ABOUT WALLETS,NOT THE CONDOM]. Posted 9 Nov 2008 LOLOL. I didn't get it. <<; I watched movies like Dracula (the rape scene of Lucy and... chimp Dracula.. come to think of it, I didn't watch the whole movie...), saw shows like Sex and the City... When mom told me not to look, I looked. I still do. ^^ It's funny to watch. I pieced it together when I found my first naughty fan-fic on the internet, though. "Wait, Link... does that to Zelda... and she pops out a baby... OH I GET IT." Yes. Zelda taught me what IT is.
Posted 10 Nov 2008 One easy summer morning, my sister said, "Have I ever told you about the pleasures shared between a man and a woman?" When I was quiet, she said, "Well then, let me show you." As she undressed in front of me, I remember that the wind chimes echoed outside in the faint breeze. The breeze came in from the window and danced with her silky hair, and that was when I knew that my mother had been right, that cold night when I was seven - incest is best. As her heaving chest glistened, I couldn't help but look out at the windswept trees, and think all about how my mom got scared, and said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air." I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, "Nah, forget it. Go home to Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo holmes smell ya later!" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air. But seriously, I don't remember when I found out.

As I undressed in front of him, I remember that the wind chimes echoed outside in the faint breeze. The breeze came in from the window and danced with his messy fro, and that was when I knew that my father had been right, that cold night when I was five - incest is best. As his heaving dick glistened, I couldn't help but look out at the windswept trees, and think all about how my mom got scared, and said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air." However, they showed us internal shots of porn, taught us about all the incurable STDs, and made us memorize every gland in the pathway that sperm travels, but NEVER TAUGHT US ANYTHING ABOUT BIRTH CONTROL because they thought that PEOPLE OF RELIGION would be offended by such content being taught in a PUBLIC school. What about separation of church and state? NABE I AM DONE EDITING THIS YOU ARE GOING TO LIKE IT. Deeeeeep throooooat, deeeper than deeeeeep your throooooat. Posted 19 Nov 2008 I actually didn't ask them about it, as it was there was no logical reasoning behind me asking them in the first place.

Posted 4 Jan 2009 Most religious people have no problem with birth control. Only strict Catholics don't like it, despite what you may think. I really don't know what I think about sex education in schools, though, since I never had it. I wouldn't want it in elementary schools....I dunno, I don't really like the public school system in general, so I suppose I'm biased.
Posted 4 Jan 2009 At my elementary school, we had to take a 1-day sex ed class in 4th grade. In my opinion, that's way too young. I don't think 9 and 10 year old children need to know that stuff yet. Perhaps premature exposure is why there are so many perverts nowadays. Maybe not, though.
