That blue guy is already completed...
You not really can walk backwards... how you else have to turn around with the 4 pointers? (Except the Home button witch rotate you 90 degrees) (can you even do it in any game?) (with out mouse)

I'm thinking about making a sprite sheet for my own character, but first I have a few questions.


How large should my charater sprites be? (in terms of pixel height and width)

How long should the sword be? (for attacking)

Should the sword itself be kept in a seperate image from the character? (to make collision detection easier)

Can I use more than one character in the game at different times, but keep them in the same account?

Can I put in a seperate animation for magic attacks? If so, should I make seperate frames for every direction, or can I just make the character face the screen?

lol, just take a ALTTP sprite and use the height after that!
for now..... i'm gonna edit a sprite from my favorite section in spriters resource!

Spriters Resoure > Sega > Pocket Kingdom > Knight (Silver)

Well, here is a rough draft for my sprite. It's not yet good enough to be put into the game, but I would just like to know if it is the right style, size, etc. I don't want to put a lot of effort into a sprite just to learn it isn't in the right format.

So I would appriciate it if someone could look at this and give some suggestions on how to improve it. This is my first attempt at drawing a sprite so don't be too disgusted with it.

=O your first time? that probobly Exellent for a first timer, to improve it, i suggest making him walking up, down and sideways!
and mabye giving him a weapon!

Yeah, it probably needs some cleaning up, but what fan-made Zelda RPG would be complete without Miyamoto? I think he should appear in random towns at random times, and unlock special quests for anyone who finds him.
