Lemme geuss. you watch Fox News?

No. I watch the news on channel 10, and watched the champain ads... Well I used to. Then they made Cartoon network west, and now I watch Family Guy every morning.

... Then how the heck are you to vote if you can't believe T.V.?
And it didn't. It's just what people here think.

I would, but I don't want to risk saying somthing stupid to make me the most hated person at school. Why do you think I do everything they tell me to do even though I know i'll get in trouble. I mean I was force forced into 5 fights with this one kid, who I had no problem with what so ever, for another kid who too much of a sissy to fight for himself because he claims that, "It's only funny when you do it. That, and if you don't I get someone else to beat you up." And that is why I don't think for myself.

I don't think you actually gave a reason for not thinking for yourself. If you did, it wasn't a legitimate one. Saying, "I don't think for myself because other people tell me not to," is stupid, illogical, and slightly paradoxal (which in turn opens the possibility that it could be satirical, and so I laugh).

I just don't think socialism would work in America.I understand that eyeoftruth really believes it would, living under a socialist government and all,and I understand that he seems to want to help, but there's a distinct difference between America and Norway.America is a huge chunk of the North American continent. If you count out Mexico,it's about half a continent.Canada is bigger, but less populated. What works for a smaller country might not work for a much larger country.A big country like this needs it's rich and it's middle class. It could do without the poor, but it definitely needs the other two classes.A country like this needs rich people who can dish out all of the big things, while the working middle class strives to make those things that they dish out possible, while earning some cash to make a decent living along the way. This country needs it's upper-class for entertainment, dining, advancement of technology, etc. It's a big country where we need things done.We can't have evened out wealth and things like that in a place this big.

Obama's comment on "spreading the wealth around" unnerves me.I just hope he doesn't go to socialism.I just firmly believe that it wouldn't work here.

...Then again,I'm just 14.What do I know?

I also want to address something.I was watching a British interview with some Obama supporters, and they were saying that this was a huge step to eliminating racism.I don't see how it's possible to eliminate what's already been eliminated,if it's civil rights that they want. The best way to eliminate racism is to eliminate free speech.
Also,I'm not buying that little excuse they used in that interview.I don't think they're trying to eliminate racism. If they are, then I hope they can kindly explain the people in the schools across America parading the hallways shouting, with incorrect grammar no less,"WE IN THE WHITE HOUSE!WE IN THE WHITE HOUSE!".First of all, that is a clear misinterpretation of the White House's name.It was called the President's House or something along those lines at first, but when Washington D.C. was burned down, they renamed it to White House, obviously because of it's color. It would seem that those who want racism gone so badly are starting it up themselves. How ironic.Like I said, the only way to eliminate racism is to eliminate free speech, one of our constitutional rights.I don't like where this idea is going at all.
And guess what, people.Obama is only 6% black. He's more white and Arabian than he is black. That's the funny part...Everyone wants to call him black, but they forget that he had a white mother.I chuckle at it.At people's foolishness.Like I said earlier,I am only 14 years of age.How is it that I realize this, yet the parades in the high school don't?

Obama's Kenyan, yo.

And yeah, socialism has had its problems, and the only group that succeeded in it completely were small hippie groups. It's extremely difficult to be completely socialist and succeed, yeah?

Also, YLA, this is the INTERNET. Nobody can beat you up here, so it's OK to think for yourself.
However, it is also possible to annoy people with things such as stating ignorant stuff just because other people state ignorant stuff. To me, it diminishes my hope in you and the rest of the human population, yeah? It's greatly irritating to see someone let themselves be taken advantage of and actually go along with it like it's just how things go.
But we can't beat you up.

At least become informed before you state your views.

Yeah, Let's Ignore The Fact That The Schools Across The Pond, In Countries Which Are Much More Socialistic, Have Much Higher Test Scores.

Yeah, let's ignore you because you capitalize every single word you type.

You and almost everyone at my school.
Nope, but it's my best judgement from what I heard from T.V. and it's my desition. Even if it's worse, i've never been to Canada.

Because you're supposed to believe everything you see on TV.

Schools in Europe happen to have higher scores than the schools here because there have been schools over there longer than there have been schools over here.If you'll notice, scores in states like Massachusetts have higher scores because they've been in the game longer. The first colonies to start education were the New England colonies, where Harvard originated. The Southern colonies were the last to follow suite,so of course the test scores here will be lower.Doesn't mean that some of us here aren't as smart as people up north, the scores that pile up are the scores from the majority of the students.
The same thing applies when comparing United States scores to European scores.Europe's been teaching longer than we have.It just works out that way.

I'm happy with how the presidential election turned out, but I live in Kentucky. The two people who were running for senator here were Bruce Lunsford (D) and Mitch McConnell ®. McConnell kept bashing Lunsford about how his legal residence was in Chicago, but he himself lived in D.C. And that butt plug got elected!
But yay! Obama's president! :D :D :D :D :D

YLA, you can't believe everything you hear on TV. Most of it is completely one-sided. It'll say good things about McCain, but it'll never say the good things about Obama.
And I highly doubt the TV says we're all going to die from Obama being in office.

Plzplzplzplzplzplzplz try to think for yourself.
Sahaqiel

Here, all I heard on TV was about Obama. Nothing about McCain, just about Obama and his black history. I don't particularly like media since it always tends to be biased.

Personally, I like McCain better. He did start out pretty liberal, even for a Republican, but I think he was more conservative as the campaigns went on. The biggest problem I have is that Obama doesn't support Christians. There are movements to try and make some of the Bible's teachings illegal, and Obama does support them. I can't understand why everyone wants to get rid of us Christians.

Despite all that, he's our president now, so we have to do our best to support him!

I liked Huckabee. And Sarah Palin. It's a shame they didn't make it. :<

You liked Sarah Palin?

The person who thought Africa was a country?

That's fine with me.

For the most part, I'm glad how the election turned out. The only thing that I disagree with is that people voted YES on Prop 8 here in California. =/

Dissappointed about our new socialist overlord, happy about 8 though.

My respect for you has dropped to a dangerous area, True Gamer.
