Are you happy with how the elections turned out?

I didn't get offended. And that's exactly my point, USA has to approach it step by step. A "revolution" is out of the question.

A revolution is never out of the question, lol. All it takes is a little motivation, and an armed public. not to start a gun debate though, just saying.

Am I happy with the worst President in United States history?
Probably not. . .

Roflroflroflrofl.
I will enjoy dissecting you for your future-event-predicting displays that should be around the back of your eyelids.

Nope. This country is screwed, and our economy is going down, and we are all going to die. I think i'll move to... Canada! I've never been to Canada.

OH MY GOD! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! I really wish you'd keep your mouth securely shut sometimes, YLA.
Honestly, you don't have a #$@%ing clue of what makes Obama worse than GWB. So why would you move to Canada? If anything, you'd be moving to a place that's worse than the US, if you consider Obama bad.

And I dunno, guys.
I mean, McCain himself said that he "doesn't care how long the war goes on", and said he'd send more troops and keep them posted there for as long as needed.
If anything would have killed us, it would be this stupid move.
'Cause yeah, we totally need to protect ourselves from the people we're beating on with a stick by sacrificing more people for a now-meaningless cause.

Know what? I would rather have another 4 more years of Bush. There I said it.

@Ryu: Well you it might affect you in the future. I'm not sure how, but it will.

Epic failure. Now attempt to redeem yourself logically and explain why you think Obama is so bad. Are you happy with our country as it is? Do you hate black people? Do you watch Faux news?

How the heck is it socialism that Obama wants to offer Americans the ability to BUY into a medicaid-like health plan from the government if they CHOOSE to and still have the option to buy PRIVATE or none if they wish? It's like a subscription based fire department.

All this basically is is a Federally supported health insurance to provide care to those who can't afford or get accepted by private insurance. It gives people another option, and people paying who use it will significantly offset any costs to tax-payers. The users of this plan will pay taxes and premiums so they will foot a huge part of the bill...

Also, America already pays more per person on healthcare per average than places with free healthcare. Yes, we pay more on each individual's healthcare than places that provide it to everyone for free. We have major spending problems and bureaucracy. This doesn't mean that we shouldn't provide it, just that we much fix some huge problems. Ideally we could offer the healthcare for free with no tax increase if we could get rid of all the overhead we have compared to other countries.

It turned out perfectly. No problems here.

So what you are syaing is that a lot of the problem that we are having is infrastructure, and that we must change how Washington works instead of just blanket taxing and throwing money at the problem, while ignoring the real root of it. Also, our insurance overhead is higher becaus of our health insurance, THe way health insrance laws work, the docs have to go through so much red tape and everythingm the insirance gets billed more. example.

My MRI from last week, billed my insurance, a hospital employee insurance, $4,200

If I pay cash for that MRI, my doc visit, MRI, diagnosis and meds, would have been about $550

And that's just because I filed with insurance so I oly had to pay $50 out of pocket. So yes, get rid of the beureacratic bullshit, and it's somewhat feasible, but that requires getting insurance and pharmeceutical companies out of politicians pockets.

I am not happy. Though there is a bright side to all this--the Dems won't be able to blame their screw-ups on the Republicans anymore. ^_^

Yeaahhhh...... no. All of those in your list (except public education systems) cannot be feasibly privatized, because they're things that everybody should have access to. To not have those institutions would be closer to anarchy. Socialism is more evident in the ----ing 7 billion dollar government bailout, and things like that. Not libraries.

If you want more proof that capitalism > socialism, look at the difference between the test scores of private and public schools.

Yeah, Let's Ignore The Fact That The Schools Across The Pond, In Countries Which Are Much More Socialistic, Have Much Higher Test Scores.

I don't think that test scores are a valid argument here. Quite frankly, using the average American High-School student to represent our political system is like using a monkey to represent a nuclear reactor.

I say this because a large number of students just don't care. At my neighboring High-school the average math standardized test score was a 55, and reading was a 62. As for language arts, a whopping 53 makes me think that most of them can't speak English.

Anyway, even though I didn't support Obama, I pray that he does a good job. I actually pray daily for his safety as well, because I don't think our nation could handle another incident.

Regardless of what I think, I can't control what happens. So instead of complaining about it, I'm just going to live with it.

One more thing: please respect John McCain. He has lived a remarkable life, and he doesn't deserve to have any jokes made at his expense.

Respect, people!

You and almost everyone at my school.
Nope, but it's my best judgement from what I heard from T.V. and it's my desition. Even if it's worse, i've never been to Canada.

YLA, you can't believe everything you hear on TV. Most of it is completely one-sided. It'll say good things about McCain, but it'll never say the good things about Obama.
And I highly doubt the TV says we're all going to die from Obama being in office.

Plzplzplzplzplzplzplz try to think for yourself.

If the TV doesn't say that's what's going to happen, then isn't he thinking for himself? That doesn't make it intelligent, though. Sometimes people shouldn't think for themselves.

... Then how the heck are you to vote if you can't believe T.V.?
And it didn't. It's just what people here think.

I would, but I don't want to risk saying somthing stupid to make me the most hated person at school. Why do you think I do everything they tell me to do even though I know i'll get in trouble. I mean I was force forced into 5 fights with this one kid, who I had no problem with what so ever, for another kid who too much of a sissy to fight for himself because he claims that, "It's only funny when you do it. That, and if you don't I get someone else to beat you up." And that is why I don't think for myself.

Oh, and there are many ways of voting if you can't believe TV. That's almost as bad as believing the internet.
