Well.. in all honesty, they arent made for stopping it when you're nearly pitching it like a baseball. Plus, if people want to complain they can. they know there are accessories made for the controller that are supposed to increase grip, and stronger straps..
but.. in all honesty.. if you can chuck a freaking REMOTE CONTROLLER through a TV SCREEN, you're playing a little too hard ;P.

Yeah, the general populace is going to take a while it seems before it grasps the controls. Just like people "button mash" with controllers in games, I've seen a lot of people, myself included, go into a similiar mash by making a flurry with the wiimote. Once it becomes common knowledge that you only need to make specific, smooth gestures, I'm sure this sort of thing will stop.

People have an idea that it's like VR, but it's not. Short wrist gestures work better than exaggerated arm gestures, though they aren't as fun :P

Yeah, I dont get it. And in the video, why was the guy slashing the Wiimote so strong. I dont get it.

And of course if Nintendo see it. They have deffenetly heard of any exident like that. I thing they will make a stronger remote with a better safety thing.

I saw on gamespot the Wii luch. Reggie was very good at Wii sport (tennis). No buddy defeat him and he was not using the Wii mote so hard and strong. So let be carryful with or Wii's :) . At 8th desember for me <_< .
I have the same fear of knocking over the console. Thats why i will lay it on its side.
There is a clear plastic attachment you can snap onto the stand to prevent this from happening. It's hidden in the packaging. This would make it near impossible to knock over.

yes, im glad its on the wii too, but for the most part i think it was still a business decision lol, hey theyve convinced me, i cant wait to play it on the wii, i think it would be better, but anywho thats deff off topic so about this being on tv and stuff, i cant believe lol, thats sad, this is nintendo's comeback console without a doubt, and evry next gen console this time around has had problems, but that wasnt on tv!
xbox 360, i forget what was wrong with it, but i think it like overheated idk i forget
ps3, well it couldnt play many ps2 and ps1 games or had trouble playing them from what i hear, and it being sony theere will most likely be more problems down the road
and then the wii has trouble with dl'ing old games and people are clumsy and break tv screens, really this whole thing about the wiimote snapping off is just the players fault, you dont have to swing that controller like you ARE a professional tennis player, lol, and maybe you should WIPE that sweat off your hands, or wear some gloves or something! lol, but despite this i think nintendo will still come through, its kinda sad that the wiimote is known to break tv screens, when its rlly the ppl lol

I think I know what you may be talking about, is it the golden wolf on this big block near Hyrule Castle Town? Easy, just find all the bugs near around Lake Hylia, and then when you're Link again, go to that block, climb up the vines, and go to it! If that isnt it, then I dont reaslly know what your talking about, you might be farther then me I'm only on the 3rd temply, the water one :embarrassed:
