  1. I'm getting all of my chocolate tomorrow with the clearance prices. Because I'm a poor college student.

This is actually a really good idea

  2. And the battle draws on!

Draws on what? Paper? Cardboard? The walls?

  3. Those douchebaggy cameramen getting right inside the wave. I feel like they'd get run right over by the surfers, as they deserve to be.

    Is that sake?

Pretty sure it's soy sauce, but I have no definite idea. I found it on Google images.

  4. cutcaster-photo-100490618-Deep-Fried-Lion-Fish.jpg

This is totally and completely relevant in every possible way.

  5. A Russian foreign exchange student at my school likes to draw, and I was talking to him one day about it. He said that he wanted to develop his own style and someone had told him that it was easier to start with drawing real people then move on from there. I kinda wish I had done something like that, cuz now when I draw people from imagination, I have no idea how clothes move or fold, or the actual structure of a human face, etc.

And even if you start with drawing real things, you'll already begin to develop your own style with that. When I draw reality, it looks way different than when the Russian person draws reality.

  6. I'd say just draw really really often and anything you can think of/see. Got a hamburger from McDonald's? Draw that shit then down that shit. A bottle o' jack? Put it on paper then in your bloodstream.

That's the easiest (and probably best) way to draw well.

You could also take classes in your area or find someone who draws well and ask them to teach you. Or just put up an ad on Craigslist and find a teacher.

  7. 2009 must have been a shitty year.

    Durn, it isn't working.

Just click that and pretend it's in an image code.

    Edit: Nevermind, got it.

  8. Whatever. For the record, I think you're alright <:

Vermillion Lies. Been meaning to listen to them, too. I got one of their albums from bandcamp.

They're great :D But I'm pretty sure they broke up. Which sucks.

  9. So he'd fake being his sister? That'd be weird, I'd hate to fake being my sister. Partially cuz I don't have one.

  10. Fantastic Panda Deluxe and jtrk are going to be the reason I leave. Maybe not them, but the fact that they're tolerated here.

Cool story bro, tell it again.

Probably because they just went over all of our heads.

I thought of pants flying over people's heads. And I don't know why.

  11. You'd be Christian, you idiot.

Not really. Believing and Jesus and being a part of a religion are two different things, at least to me.

With religion it's like, "Alright. You need to go and convert people, and do good works to get in to heaven, and go to church every Sunday, and wear nice clothes, and wash hobos."

But you don't need guidelines or a set of rules to tell you how to worship your own God. You can do it from your own home, you don't have to go to a Church to worship your own personal God. You don't have to tell every person you see about God (but I suppose if you find it to be really awesome and life-changing, go right ahead and spread the word). You don't need to make a conscious effort to convert all of your friends (see last set of parenthesis).

I used to be Catholic, I didn't really like it at all. So many rules and guidelines and "You must do these or else"s.

  12. Tales from Odessy or whatever? My parents used to tune to that almost every day.

I don't think so. It was probably on the American Public Media station or PRI or whatever. It was while I was in the car with my dad at like 9 pm or something.

  13. He's like a fairytale told to little kids so they mindlessly believe it.

Regardless, though. I mean, I'm an Atheist. But I still think Jesus was a pretty cool guy.

Have you ever read a fiction book and felt hatred or some other emotion for the characters? It's like that. Despite how real the characters actually are, they reflect real human qualities and you react to their character.

Jesus is like a summary of every good human quality, but I feel like it's implausible for someone to really be that awesome. I know that he's inhuman and really the son of God, but still.

If I believed in Jesus, I wouldn't have a religion. I wouldn't be a Christian or a Catholic. I would just believe in Jesus.

  14. What in the world could you possibly hate about Christ.

I could see hating Christianity, because of all the ignorant people. I could see hating the way the world works, and thereby hating God for the state we're in, due to ignorance of the what the Bible says on the matter. I could even see hating religion as a whole and trying to ignore all of it, because you don't believe in it.

But hating Christ. Who did nothing but love, forgive people, and die so that you could have a choice in how you want to live.

Whether Christ is real or not, how can you hate someone like that? That's a p. cool character in any story, a man who dies for his friends, heals the sick, forgives everyone that asks for forgiveness, and calls out all the bullshit the supposed "good men" spew. I can't think of any character that's ever been described in any book anywhere that I'd rather have at my side, save for Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia (hint: he's Jesus too) and Gandalf.

    ^^^ This.

I remember hearing a story on the radio one night (Y'know, when they do those story-reading things) about a guy named Jesus who went to this girl's school. He was awesome to everyone, but the teachers didn't like him or something. Then a teacher took the main girl's lunch away because it wasn't healthy or something. Then Jesus went into the teacher's lounge and told the teacher off or something, the story never specifically said what he did. Then he got expelled, and was never heard from again.

I dunno, I just got reminded hardcore of that. It was a really awesome story. I wish I could remember the name of it.

  15. Wha... You misspelled 'be' with 'my'? Is that humanly possible?

Edit: Oh hey Mr. Keyboard-with-m-close-to-b-and-y-close-to-e. I didn't see you there.

    My apologies, Sir Gelp.

It's Easter and I have nothing better to do. ^_^

    No choco-chocolate bunnies? D:

  16. Wait, no. This band is just a better version, if I recall. I:Scintilla

It's been a while, so no guarantees.

The first song sounded like something Evanescence would do, but then the 2nd actually sounded like Industrial. I dunno, Angelspit sounds...harder, more intense. I guess it's just cuz I haven't heard enough of I:Scintilla.

  17. I just picked them at random XD All of the ones I got were pretty awesome. Kitsune^2 too.

  18. Or how about some completely random bands that I just pulled off of my music library?

Rasputina, Angelspit, the Dresden Dolls, Furries in a Blender, and Regina Spektor are a few.

How far does your musical taste expand :D

  19. And then I shaded it.

    10yi7fs.jpg

    And uploaded a smaller size.

^Why would you make a mockery of this

Why are you making a mockery of this

I ain't makin no mockery, I have a legitimate want to go to Russia

You think you're better n' me just cuz you aint got no Russia visitation longing

    Man dat crazy shit

  20. Let's visit Chernobyl! :D

I've always wanted to, these monuments just make it more interesting.

    Delicious radiation-poisoned beets :D

Also, on a side note I did this and I'm really proud of it.
