    I'm 18. Well, I've been dating my girlfriend for 8 months now. Before that, we had been best friends for 4 year. In short? I love her, VERY VERY much.

    Well, last Thursday, I got a phone call from her mother. She didn't want us dating anymore. I knew that it was gonna happen sooner or later, since her mother is OVERprotective. She doesn't wanna let her go. My girlfriend is 17.

    Without her mother knowing, we chat online now and then, and we both have agreed that we don't want this to be over. We have come up with some plans, but most of them are last resorts kind of plans.

    Any advice?

    Well, I've always been a idealist, so I held my first kiss til I was 18. I shared my kiss with my best friend, who hadn't had her first kiss either.

    Independent developers with great game ideas but limited programming skills will have an advantage in designing their project for Nintendo's new console: The Wii Remote can learn.

    AiLive, a California-based development studio, announced that it has partnered with Nintendo to bring its LiveMove tool to Wii. Using the Wii Remote's motion-sensing technology, LiveMove will enable independent developers to teach the Wii Remote moves and commands using gesture-based examples. Previously, developers wanting to incorporate moves and commands into a game would do so with traditional, often-complicated coding techniques.

    "The Wii coupled with AiLive LiveMove will usher in a new era of natural game control," commented AiLive Chairman Dr. Wei Yen. "Powered by AiLive's patented Context Learning, LiveMove will allow the game industry to move away from indirect digital control to more natural analog control for the first time."

    Nintendo has previously discussed offering the original creations of independent developers for download on the Wii Virtual Console.

    "This revolutionary tool liberates the imaginations of game creators. We are more than happy to share this collaborative LiveMove tool with independent Wii software developers all over the world. From a cowboy's lasso to a samurai's sword or a chef's cooking utensils, we just can't wait to play the developers' new, 'unexpected' applications," added Genyo Takeda, senior managing director/general manager of integrated research and development division for Nintendo.

    While comprehensive knowledge of coding may no longer be a requirement to develop for Wii, disposable income will be. LiveMove is currently available exclusively to Wii development studios for a fee of $2,500 per user.

    Stay with The Wiire for more on the future of homebrew applications available for Wii.

    I don't know if this is new or not, so I decided to post it for those who were interested.

    I care most about when GameStop is going to start taking preorders, but since it would be a shame to waste a topic, I would like to see if anyone here could list which stores, and when, are taking Wii pre-orders.

    Since it was announced that the sword-handling in TP will be fully done trough the Wii-Motes censor, it was stated that the bow would be handled with the A button instead of the pad.

    Anyways, here's my question:

    Will the "A" button be for the Bow exclusively? Or will it be to trigger items? Example, if you choose the Hookshot with the D-Pad, it won't be used instantly, but you would have to use the A button to trigger it.

    Well, any info is welcome, sorry for the bother in advanced.

    Personally, I really wanna get my hands on Red Steel, before TP was announced for the Wii, Red Steel was the sole reason I wanted the system.

    Other games I really want are:

    Super Mario Galaxy (hoping for Luigi as a playable character)

    Sumer Smash Bros. BRAWL

    Metroid Prime: Corruption

    and Rayman Raving Rabbids.

    Title I have taken into consideration are:

    Excite Truck

    Day of Crisis

    Project H.A.M.M.E.R.

    and Call of Duty 3

    So, what about you guys?

    I'm really no good at this game. I usually stick to keeping away from other, and just coming in when I see the chance, land a few hits, and get out before they can retaliate. I'm still no good, tho. :embarrassed:

    according to an insider's blog (which is actually the most beleivable one i've seen and some of the stuff that he said before it was announced officially was true forgotten his name though) sonic WILL be in brawl.

    Nintnedo don;t own capcom or the rights to resident evil, resident evil is still planned on the ps3 and xbox360 <_<

    I don;t think there would be anybody else from metal gear solid known well enough who would be able to fight well to be honest...

    What do you mean no one else from MGS? Liquid Sanke, Revolver Ocelot, Raiden are all good picks.

    Specially Raiden, since he was mad popular in Japan...

    *imagines having the new Cy-Raiden as a playable character and drools*

    Oh well, doesnt matter, 2 outta 3 of my closest friends (which are a whopping total of 3) agree that I'm "girl hyperactive.

    And just for the record, my fav FF is FF9.
