    Really, though... Unless you've already done a lot of the world building like when games are based off other media, It's really annoying to simultaneously build the world while thinking of mechanics that fit the world building.

    Like, there's not enough world in the game to be able to just put such arbitrary rules. Sure, they were for game "balancing" but they just didn't fit.

    I watched Spirited Away for the "First Time" this morning. By first time I mean I saw it over a decade ago when it first came out, and I was in fifth grade at the time. I barely remembered any of it, so when I came back to it today, it was pretty hazy. Anyways, just so we're all clear, I certainly did not cry at all during this movie. And if there was a time I would have gotten even the slightest bit emotional, it absolutely was not when kohaku river remembered his name. Very dry movie. As we all know, all ghibli movies are nothing more than heartless eyecandy, and spirited away was definitely no exception.

    Go watch Grave of the Fireflies.

    Do it.

    I also threatened Droop (in Goblin) that I would eat him. I think that gave you disadvantage on one of your rolls or something.


    Also failed TWICE at trying to peek at Chimetals and Necro's characters. Got "assistance" from Saha's character.

    Nothing impressive was seen.

    Wait, youre Sayuri right? I keep forgetting. But Sayuri is in Philippines at the moment and you appear to be as weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell. You two should meet up if you arent in fact the same being.

    The things that are on tv here make me uncomfortable in a way that it gives a terribly grim-sick feeling.

     

    Currently, they're showing what is basically like 60 minutes (the investigative program thingy). It's about a girl who was being raped by her father since she was 9 and it was only found by the mother when she hit 15 and was pregnant with her sibling. The girl didn't talk right away because the father was threatening her with a gun, which they found during the initial investigation against him. So, he was arrested but he was only in jail for two years and then went back to the family with promises of change. No change, of course. Abuses wife and I think he just does the same thing all over. The older girl had gone to try and start a new life in the city, I think, so he changes targets to one of the younger siblings.

    Death is a thing I've thought about, gotten scared of, felt uncomfortable with, wanted to come sooner and then just stopped thinking about too much. I've basically come to the conclusion it's something I don't care about rushing or waiting for so I'm just not gonna care about it too much. It's a bit comforting to think about, though. I mean, I'm going to be so pissed if I die from someone else's carelessness and I might sincerely hope to come back and haunt them until they've cosplayed at my grave or something but that's pretty much it.

     

    (It's never going to be not awkward when someone dies who you didn't know personally but is somehow related to you let me tell you (it's really awkward to hear about))
