teto put away his hands and feet because he was done fighting
he looked into the air and he could see the danger "we cannot stay here for long" he said
"then where do we go" said carleen
"we go to the roof for epic final battles" said pheo who knew how shit goes down"
Cherry lead the way because she knew rooves like the back of her hands because she was interested in these things she has roof seeking abilities

they were in the hall when there was an alarm that said "danger danger intruders wee oo wee oo" and then they knew they should hurry because more enemies would come and they would be very difficult and a much higher level

They were at the roof and they had got away from the enemies safe and sound
"you!!" shouted man on the roof also it was raining and there was lighting "how dare you!!"
"we dare to be the best pair of pairs" said pheo, who was in a group of five and he was bad at math and pairs because he is from the ghetto
"you can't stop us we will fight you!!" said carleen
"You cannot stop the hurt!" said teto
"We will destroy you we are the ghetto crew!" said cherry
and it was then that I noticed that there are FOUR people in fact and not FIVE so I should never judge pheo's math skills every again

"raaaah" they all said as they charged
but then they saw the enemy and he said "fools!" and he whipped off his cloak and blew them all away with magic and they were over the horizon

Rules: No racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia. Be respectful and polite to other RPers. Just don't be rude and we'll all get along just fine!

Setting: This loosely follows on from Adventure in Skyloft, though will mainly be set among the Sheikah tribe rather than focusing on the Knight Academy students. New OC's will be used, so feel free to join even if you weren't in AIS! This is set just after Link, Zelda, and the other students have moved down from Skyloft to settle on the Surface which they now believe to be at peace. Yet, unknown to them, there's evil lurking in the shadows...

Before you start playing, be sure to fill out a character profile so other RPers know how to interact with your character:

    Name: Fintan
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17
    Race: Sheikah
Physical Appearance: Sandy hair, amber eyes, tanned skin. He's tall, fairly muscular but not excessively so with the Sheikah eye tattooed on the inside of his wrist. He wears simple leather armour to allow for movement, and keeps his long hair pulled back in a short ponytail at all times.
Short Personality Description: He was raised by the Sheikah elders from birth as his parents were lost in a battle. He's not the strongest, but is agile and flexible enough to be a powerful fighter. He takes his meditation extremely seriously, maintaining the belief that one should have a healthy connection between mind, body and soul in order to understand one's surroundings and anticipate approaching danger. However, he has little focus for anything but his orders and his mission, which can cause irritation to those around him.

"I come bearing news..." I announce as I enter the Temple of Spirit. Many members of the tribe are gathered around. The tribal elders are just finishing a ritual prayer to Hylia as I approach the group. The juniors are sat cross legged on the floor, watching in silence, observing. And as for the warriors and the observers, they turn from their tasks, offering me silent nods as greeting.
Sheik, tribe leader, steps forward from where he was previously sharpening spears. His blood red eyes turn to me, offering me his full attention.
"Fintan, what news do you bring?" he asks.
"I was patrolling the western Faron region..." since the Statue of the Goddess returned to the Surface and destroyed Demise, I'd been instructed to keep the area under close observation. "It appears to me that a small settlement has been erected just east of the the Sealed Temple."
Sheik carefully lays his spear and blade down on the table, before approaching me. "Of what significance is this?" he asks.
"It's not an ordinary settlement," I say. "The settlers... they're Hylians. They've brought the great birds of the Sky. And, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that the Mortal Goddess and the Chosen Hero are among them."

    Name: Link

    Age: 17

    Gender: M

History: Link lived in the kokiri forest until he was 7. When he turned 7, he went off to start his epic journey. He met navi, his traveling companion. Him and navi saved the kingdom of hyrule, but then they parted ways. Years later he met Midna when the land of hyrule was ruled by twilight. Midna is from a tribe of the twilight realm. She left when she was about 15, she was sent by Princess Zelda to find link and help him save all of hyrule. The two formed a companionship and now travel together in search of an epic journey.

Appearance: He is 5' 4 He has tanned skin. He always wears a Green tunic, and a green elf-ish hat. (no tights though)

(no, he wont be all powerful like in the games. he will be just a normal character. I am just very uncreative.)

Link had plans with some friends at telma's bar, except him and midna had to come from kakariko village, where they were having a bomb arrow shooting contest. After finishing the contest and finding midna, he headed to the bar when he crossed a young woman. "Excuse me, but you look a little lost. Would you maybe like to come with me to the bar and have something to eat and drink? My treat. I'm meeting some friends there later, you should seriously consider getting some food." He said as he walked beside her.

She was the official Link cosplayer at the Twilight Princess booth at an E3 years ago, and had her picture taken with Shigeru Miyamoto, if I recall correctly. Just browse through her photos.

Black Adam is straight up brutal btw, why he is one of my favorites. There is a dc storyline called WW3, which is Black Adam declaring war on everything that lives because he is so pissed off. He goes to this country Bialya and puppying slaughters everyone there.

Adam is actually usually more of an Anti Villain, but on this occasion all of the happiness he had got snatched away from him. So blood death destruction. All of that fun stuff

The main reason I love inception so much is the way he executed the premise. The whole thing about inception was that it was all about dreams and how they work. But why I loved inception so much more than other movies that were also about dreams was because inception was so logical about it. Every time you see a dream sequence in a story the whole thing is about how confusing and lucid and fantastic/phantasmagoric the situation is. And if anyone is going to actually go into a dream, it's the same, and is usually a reflection on how twisted or insane the person who's head they're inside is.

Inception was practically the opposite of that. Inception took all those things we just accept about dreams and built itself out of that. Time passes longer in a dream than we think, so when we put a dream within a dream, it passes longer exponentially. Stuff like that. And then they added things into it like the fight scenes did crazy shit with the gravity bending around them, and using paradoxical architectural drawings and things. I just enjoyed how they thought out all the little details like that, and so I forgive them for the minor slips that make fatal flaws people point out. I dunno, maybe inception is way more boring the second time through, i just remember being really inspired by the way they handled it.

  11. whonWoffThino liked a post in a topic by Necropolis in I love breakfast (And you do too)
Inspired by Saha's somewhat recent show of breakfastular affection to Kaffles, I have decided to show my affection for Breakfast. I love breakfast, and its more than that its the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is the most enjoyable, and the only time I can eat food comfortably without outside stimulus, be it engaging in conversation or watching/ listening to something, but with breakfast I can truly enjoy my food alone with my thoughts. Just the thought of getting up at 4 in the morning, making fresh oatmeal, warm with butter and honey and a piece of toast, in the quiet serenity of dawn, still more blue than red. Its like being in a different world, for an hour. Then you gotta go about your day of course. I'm actually more of a night person than morning, but I still find the place between groggy and awake to be very good state to be in. The process of making breakfast, the single group of foods I can make competantly and completely, is very enjoyable. I think this is because there are a fairly small list of ingredients that you can use, a meat, usually bacon which provides grease with which to use to make everything else, Eggs, whether to scramble, fry, omelet(this is a verb now), and to use for things like french toast to coat and fry. Potatoes are always a good pice of breakfast, and you can't do breakfast without toast or milk. Putting this all together into a neat, well presented platter is just as good as eating it. So, gush everyone, gush about the best meal of the day. Throw in your thoughts on the meal, what your favorites are, interesting recipes, what have you.

Everything seems cool here, people seem alright, loving the fact that there is a unmoderated section which I will probably read more than post in.

I kinda wanted a place revolving around the zelda series with a community that isn't entirely completely obsessed with it to the point that that's all they talk about, and a place that has at least somewhat level headed and mature users. Though the occasional un-levelheaded person makes things interesting.

Anyways, about boring me. My name is Matt, I'm currently 27, living in texas. I have played a lot of zelda, looking forward to the 3DS zelda coming out this holiday. I honestly thought it was a joke when I first saw a link to an article. I was like "What shitty fake zelda game did they come up with this time?" but came to find out it was legit. So I bought a 3DS just to have it when the game comes out and the OoT 3d to hold me over for the time being. Also downloaded Links Awakening, which is my favorite game out of the series.

That's really all I can think is worth to put at the moment. I'll be in the chat a lot probably, just idling, lurking. Feel free to chat if you want.

Hey guys Zachattackxd9 here (I'm a new guy) and for my first theory I'm going to start with the most interesting theory that I wanna see your opinion on. Ok lets start with up in Skyloft you meet with "Zelda's Father" Gaepora. He seems like a nice guy, right? Now look at his clothes carefully Now I believe He is the Sage Of Light in the Future, Rauru  But then there are also more forms of Gaepora in other games for example the one with the most sense if in Wind Waker I believe he is the great and power full King of Hyrule/ King of Red Lions  now you have seen 3 photos you can see all the similarities. We all know the first and second Legend of Zelda so if you do you of course know the mysterious man let me help me remind you "Its dangerous to go alone, Take this" and I believe he is called the wizard in Zelda 2 they have red clothes on and a white beard just look in to it ok!! and then we have an all time favorite... Remembered for his annoying tricks and for being a stalker Kaepora Gaebora  (hopefully I spelled that right O3o LOLZ) now look at the birds giant eyebows and then look at Gaepora look at the name similarities and yeah think about it so guys I hoped you enjoyed my first topic please right your ideas and opinions below and tell me if you what you liked and disliked!!

    Hey everyone!
I think Nintendo should make a zelda movie!
I think it should be animated and not with actors because I think that would spoil it with actors. It should have people doing the voices though.

I'm the new guy on the block, I suppose. I've been floating around the interwebs for a new Zelda forum to inhabit and have chanced upon this lovely community. As far as my experience with the franchise goes, I first played Minish Cap and thoroughly enjoyed it, Ocarina of Time and A Link Between Worlds (which I recently purchased) are among my favourites as well. As far as my experience with fora go, I'm an old hand at this, most of the fora I was an active member on are sadly inactive and have been retained for archival only. You can catch me on most of those, I'm fairly certain that I'm the only person who goes by this handle on fora.

  19. whonWoffThino liked a post in a topic by Setras in Some MORE Termina Theories
I know that Majora's Mask and all of the elements associated with it have been analyzed and talked about to death already, but despite this, I have two more ideas to propose: one theory that I subscribe to and have actually worked pretty extensively with, even writing an article for it on Zelda Wiki; and another which I regard as more of a thought experiment than anything else, but which I still thought was compelling enough to discuss. Let's begin with the latter theory:

Theory #1: The (Not Quite) Fourth Timeline

I personally am really fond of the Timeline Split mechanic, and I really like how Nintendo used it in setting the timeline up. However, their inclusion of the Downfall Timeline (which involves the Hero of Time's unseen defeat by Ganon in OoT) introduces a compelling point- if a whole new timeline is spawned whenever Link dies (and, according to quantum mechanics, every Link at every point will die in every conceivable way, even if the player never sees it), then new timelines in the style of the Downfall Timeline could be created using any game. I didn't think very much of this at first, but after discussing the concept with some friends of mine, one of them wondered aloud if Termina, which is widely believed to be another universe, could in fact be one of these pseudo-Downfall Timelines. I was intrigued by this idea and took another look at the events of Majora's Mask- and I was surprised to find that this explanation not only fit well, but could serve to explain some of the mysteries surrounding Stone Tower. The blocks and pillars of the Ikana area depict a humanoid figure licking a symbol of the Triforce, with the figure itself looking somewhat inhuman, even somewhat demonic. These images have been interpreted in all sorts of ways before, but after taking another look at Skyward Sword, I realized that these depictions bear a very faint resemblance to Demise. Once I made this connection, the theory fell into place:

Termina is the result of a SS equivalent of the Downfall Timeline, in which Demise defeated Hylia's Chosen Hero and took the Triforce for himself. After disposing of his enemies, Demise conquered the Surface, and later built a stronghold for himself- Stone Tower- and ruled all of Hyrule with no one to stop him. In time, however, a new group of deities- the Four Giants- were called forth to stop him, eventually succeeding. As with his other defeat, Demise cursed the Giants, and with them Termina, to suffer under his hatred forever. Generations later, his hatred manifested within Majora's Mask, birthing the demon inside it, who would later try to destroy Termina. It was only through the actions of the Hero of Time, who was sent into this alternate timeline by the goddesses, that Majora was defeated and Termina saved.

Theory #2- From Skyward Sword to Twilight Princess

This theory is far more encompassing and detailed, and I actually subscribe more to this one than the last one. Rather than type everything out again in an abstract way, here's a link to an article I wrote on the subject:

    http://zeldawiki.org/Zelda_Wiki:The_Rise_and_Fall_of_the_Dark_Interlopers

I find this theory to be much more likely and workable than the last one. So, does anyone have any thoughts on these two ideas?

For the sake of trying to liven up this board a bit, who is your favorite LoZ NPC? And not just any NPC, but one that doesn't effect the story at all. One that could be left out and nobody would miss them. They can be characters that provide flavor text, pointless shop keepers or even trivial mini game hosts, but remember, these people dont matter at all!

My favorite character of this category is probably David Jr of The Wind Waker and Minish Cap, but since i havent played the later, i'll just talk about his role in WW.
OH WAIT, THERE ISNT ONE. He literally just sits there and spins the Tingle Tower along with his companion (co-worker?) Ankle. He's one of the Tingle Brothers, except get this, he isnt related to Tingle or the other two.

    hey
i bought lots of stuff lately
so i'm gonna talk about it
and this is the place where i'm gonna talk about it
    my journalism debut

    first:
sahaqiel likes charleston brand chews a lot
    i don't but he says i should
so i got one and i'm gonna talk about it
it was hard to find but i did it
are they any good? find out now

    here it is
i like the rebranding and the new colors
the slogan is "bursting with peanuts rich caramel and chewy nougat"
peanuts? caramel? that's a bold new move from charleston brand chews
consider me excited for this candy bar sequel

still no cocoa butter so it's not chocolate
but they dropped the advertising term chocolatey so that's good
    i like honesty in advertising
    also it has tbhq now
but hey we all die eventually

i don't detect any odor from outside of the packaging
which makes sense because it's not chocolate
i assume there are real peanuts
but the peanuts don't smell because they are enrobed
    in pretend chocolate
    which doesn't breathe
    let's move on

i was told by sahaqiel to put half in the freezer
    so i will do that
that's easy because it comes in two pieces
more points for change, charleston brand
    well done

    i can smell it now
    it smells like death

this is the half i will eat now

    i ate it
    tastes okay i guess
the peanuts and caramel help me ignore the metallic taste

i give charleston brand chews #2 a rating of okay
    thanks sahaqiel for the recommendation
this was still a better experience than original charleston brand chews

come back later for the second part
