  8. Great Bay Temple - Majora's Mask

    ------

Once you arrive in the first room of the temple, go through the door and into the second. This room is the control room for the whole temple. Dive into the water and look for a yellow eight sided platform with a switch on it. Get on it and push the switch, which should make it disappear and turn on a fountain. Now go back to the door where you entered and take the elevator to the left of the door. Jump to the platform and then jump onto the fountain and then over and follow the path to the third room. Inside, dive into the water and look for a doorway with red and green pipes going in it on the upper right. The current will push you into the next room. Now go up to the surface and climb up to the platform. Now use Link to shoot the hookshot at a treasure chest across the room to reach it. Open the chest to recieve the Dungeon Map and then jump back into the water. Dive down and find the passage way with a red pipe that leads out of the room. Before entering, eliminate the two Dexihands which are blocking the path. Now continue through the waterway and eliminate the Bio Deku Babas hanging from the Lily pads on your way through. Then go through the door and into the next room. Now walk forward and dive into the water straight ahead as Mikau. Dive to the bottom and defeat the enemies down there. Open up the chest that contains a small key and return to the surface to the platform. Now use the hookshot to pull you to the large treasure chest across the room and watch out for the real bombchu there. Open the chest to get the Compass then return back to the door you came into and turn right and into the water to go back to the third room. Once there, sink down to the surface and find the passageway with a single red pipe. Go into it and once in the next room, float to the surface. Go up to the red pipe going out of the water and walk on it. Get rid of the real bombchu blocking your way and then walk to the next door and enter. In this room, stock up on items in the vases to prepare for the battle in the next room. Now continue into the next room to find the wart. The best way to defeat the Wart, is to shoot at the bubbles surrounding him with your hookshot or your bow. Once you get enough off, try and shoot its eye. Once you've hit it a few times, it will start skidding around the room. Once it starts to do this, stand in a corner and hit it with some arrows. After a few hits it will disappear and reward you with a chest with the Ice Arrow inside.

Now leave the room and go back to the room with the red pipe and the real Bombchu. Jump into the water and hop onto the platform near the Octorok. Use your Ice arrows to hit the Octorok and it will turn into an ice cube. Use the cube to hop onto the upper platform with a switch on it. Push the switch and hop into the water. Dive down and find a vent. The vent should lead back to the third room. Once in this room, float to the surface and jump onto the surface. Use the ladders to reach the upper level. Then walk over to the spinning plank and hop onto it. Make your way over to the waterfall blocking the door. Hit the waterfall with an Ice arrow to make it freeze and continue through the door. Inside the next room, hookshot to the platform with the barrels. Now use your Ice arrows and shoot at the water to create stepping stones to the green platform with the switch. Jump across the icebergs before they melt and push the green switch. Now leave the way you came in. Dive into the water and float down to the green and red pipe opening. Enter it and follow it into the same room where you got your map. Go to the surface and hookshot to the treasure chest. From there, use your Ice arrows to make icebergs to reach the far door. Enter the room and use your Ice Arrows to shoot the Blue Chuchu on the floor. Once it is frozen into a block, push the block next to the red platform and climb the block to push the switch. Now go back the way you came to the room with the map, hop into the water and dive through the passage to the right and follow it to the room that had the compass. Now walk ahead and shoot the water ahead of you with your Ice arrows to make some icebergs leading up to the passageway to the right with some ice pillars. Use your fire arrows and your sword to get through the pillars once over there and enter the room. In this room, you will find the Gekko and its mad jelly. Chase after the Gekko and hit it with your sword. Then quickly equip your Ice arrows and watch the Gekko go up to the ceiling. Shoot at the jelly on the ceiling quickly before it falls and pummels you. If you shoot it in time, it will hurt the Gekko. Repeat this several times and it should disappear. Once it has been defeated, go through the door next to the one you came in, and find the gold chest that has the Boss Key inside. Now hop through the gold fence, and get out of the water. Now jump into the water on the right that should go to the third room. Surface and head back to the control room, the second room of the Temple. To the right should be a red switch. Fire your hookshot at the target above the switch to land on the fountain. Hop up to turn the switch. Now go to the left side of the room and push the yellow switch to switch the current. Now go back to the third room and dive into the water. Go to the passage on the upper right underwater. Swim quickly through it staying on the right to avoid the Dexihands. In this room, you will see a large watermill. Climb onto the ledge in the corner of the room and then get onto the elevator platform leading upward. Ride it up and then jump onto the shaft of the waterwheel. Then jump to the stationary platform and walk over to the end of the ledge. Now freeze the water that is coming out of the ceiling to make the waterwheel stop. Cross the planks of the waterwheel when they come to a stop and then walk to the next room. In this room, there are 3 seesaws. Go over to the one on the other side of the room. Use your fire arrows to shoot the ice above you to make the seesaw go up. Now jump to the seesaw next to it and do the same. You should be able to now jump to the green switch nearby. Push the switch and then head towards the last seesaw. Use your fire arrows to make the seesaw go up and then jump to the platform where another door is. Now you will end up in the map room. Continue through the vent ahead to get to the main room. Once there, swim to the bottom and find a path with a single green pipe. Go into the passage and you will end up in the last room of the temple. Now, get up onto the green pipe in the room and walk on it until you get to a green switch. Push the green switch and jump onto the fountain that was created. Jump across to get to the Boss Door and enter.

    Gyorg

The boss of the Great Bay Temple is the Gargantuan Masked Fish Gyorg. To defeat Gyorg, stay on the dry platform in the center, and it Gyorg when it comes out of the water with your arrows or boomerangs. When it is knocked out, dive into the water quickly and use your Zora Shield to hit it. It will then come back to life and then swim back to land. After a few times of doing this, Gyorg will disappear, and a heart container and Gyorgs Remains will appear with a warp.

Once you have defeated Gyorg in the Great Bay Temple, you now have to go to the Eastern Canyon to get to Stone Tower. Once you are back on the first day in Clock Town, use the East Gate to head towards the Canyon. Follow the path with the real bombchus and then call Epona with Eponas song. Use Epona to jump over the metal fences. Make your way to the left, when you reach the junction. Get off of Epona, when you reach the raised path and walk forward to reach the Ikana Graveyard. Continue walking forward, following the path to the back of the Graveyard. In the middle of the path ahead, will be a large Stalchild, Captain Keeta, laying on the ground beneath an arch. Play the Song of Awakening in front of the captain and he will wake up and start running away. Follow him on the path. On the path, there will be fire gates with stalchildren. Defeat the stalchildren to pass throught the gate. You can slow down the Captain by firing arrows at it, or you can use Darmani's rolling to catch up quicker. Once you have caught up to the captain, near the end of the path, he will start to fight you. Battle back at him with your sword. Once the captain gives up, he will then be laid to rest and you will be able to reach the treasure chest, across the gap. Use your hookshot to get to the chest to get the Captain's Hat.

    canyon_1.jpg (7472 bytes)

On the night of Day 1, you can use your new Captain's Hat, to direct the Stalchildren around the graveyard, to dig up the graves. They will open the grave under your commands and go into it. Follow them into the grave. In the grave, jump onto the platforms to get to the room with lot's of Keese. Defeat all of the Keese and light the 3 torches to get a chest with 50 rupees inside. Go forward into the next room, where you will see an Iron Knuckle waiting in the middle. Defeat the Iron Knuckle by waiting for it to swing it's axe, then attacking it. Once you have weakened it some, he will lose his upper armor, and will move quicker. Once you have defeated the Iron Knuckle, you will meet a music composer named Flat. Flat will teach you the Song of Storms, that can bring rain, and heal hearts. He tells you to play it for his brother Sharp (in the well). Once you have learned the song, go back to where you came into the grave and go back up to the surface.

On Night 2, command the Stalchildren once again to dig up another grave, using the Captain's Hat. Once open, enter the grave. Jump onto the platform and use the Lens of Truth, to reveal a path to a door. Walk forward, then follow the path across to the other side of the room, while looking out for Skulltulas, coming down from the ceiling, using your Lens of Truth. Once across the room to the door. Enter the next room, then turn to the left and use a bomb to blast your way through the wall at the end.Enter the next room to find another Iron Knuckle. Defeat this Iron Knuckle to earn a piece of heart. Go back to the entrance of the grave to exit the grave.

  9. Snowhead Temple

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once inside Snowhead Temple, walk forward to the large block. Put on the Goron Mask and push the block. Then defeat the White Wolfos and continue by going to the door on the right. Now when you see the bridge, back up behind it before you cross it, and do a Goron roll. If you make it, the wooden box will stop you. If you miss and fall go back by using the ladder. Once you've made it jump to the passageway straight ahead as Link and you will end up in a room with a real Bombchu. Go to the left and open the chest to get the Dungeon Map. Now go back the way you came untill you're back to the wooden box. Turn right at the box and go through the door. The room you're in now is the central room of the temple. Now walk forward to the other door on the other side. Enter the room and go to the left where you will find some blocks stacked on eachother. Pull the blocks back and go into where the blocks used to be. Inside there will be a chest with a key inside. Now exit the room and go to the right where a door is covered by ice. Shoot an arrow through the fire on the torch to the ice to melt it. Now open the door and you will be back at the beginning. Go to the right and open the door. Inside there will be some White Wolfos and a treasure chest. Defeat the Wolfos and open the chest to get the Compass. Now go to the wall with the large crack in it at the end of the room. Use a bomb to blow it up and go up the stairs to the second level. In this room, look up and shoot the iscicles on the ceiling to break the ice blocks below them. Once you've done that, hop onto the short ledge to hop across to the giant boulder. Goron punch the boulder to reveal a chest with a key. Now hop down and go through the door. The next room is tricky, go to the switch nearest you to the right and Goron stomp it. Now take the mask off and jump across the gap to the otherside and put the Goron mask on and stomp the switch close to the door. Now run to the switch nearest the gap where you crossed and stomp on that. Now take off the mask and run to the next closest switch in the gap and climb it to get to the door that has been opened. Once inside the next room, do a Goron roll to the otherside, then roll to the right along the wall till you get to a door, turn right before the door and roll across the next jump and go inside the door. Inside will be Wizrobe who appears at different spots in the room and shoots you with an ice beam. Once he starts spinning hit him with an arrow. After a couple of hits, he will start flying around the room. Watch for the Wizrobe that spins or watch your compass map to point out the real Wizrobe, then shoot him with an arrow. Once hes finished a chest will appear with the Fire Arrow.

Now once you have the Fire Arrow go back to the beginning of the temple by exiting the room with the Fire Arrow and jumping across to the otherside and opening the door. Jump down and go downstairs, then leap to where the box is. Now walk over to where the Freezard is and shoot it with a fire arrow. Also shoot the block of ice and the other freezard across the gap to get a chest to appear with a key inside. Now go back to where the door is on the left and where the main room is. Walk forward and shoot the block of ice across the way. Now walk to the right to where another block of ice is and shoot that. Now enter the door and you will be in a room with some Freezards and some torches. Shoot the freezards with your fire arrow and then the torches quickly. If done right a door will open. Hop across the gap to reach the door and enter. Inside, put on the Goron Mask and do a Goron pound on the circular switch. Now exit the room and you will be back in the room with the Freezards. Go to the left to exit the room out the door. Now turn right and walk untill it dead ends and there is a door to the right, enter it. Now go to the door on the left and you should be in the room with the bridge at the beginning. Roll across it and jump across to go up the stairs. Now in this room, get on top of the block in the middle and look up and shoot the Freezard with a Fire Arrow. Behind it is a frozen switch, shoot it also with a fire arrow. The block you are standing on will rise. Jump across and enter the door. Now hop into the net to the bottom right to get to the stairs. Climb the ladder at the end and then climb the stairs. Once up the stairs, put on the Goron Mask and roll to the right, along the wall while watching out not to fall. You should make it to a door. Go in and you will be in a room with a lot of snow and a giant Eeno that throws boulders at you. Hit it with a fire arrow to get rid of it and proceed to the next room. In the next room, eliminate the two Dinofols by using your sword or by doing a Goron pound every time they get close. Then go to the end of the room to another door and enter. You should be at the top of the tall pillar in the main room. Walk across it and into the next room. Wizrobe will be waiting for you again in the next room. Use the same strategy as before, shoot him with an arrow when he spins. Once hes beaten, walk to the left and through the door to find the Boss Key. Now walk through the next door back into the main room. Now go back the way you came, through the room with the Dinofols, Eeno, and back up the snow. Go down the stairs and walk straight ahead to the pillar. Do a Goron Punch at the two blue sections of the pillar. They will slide away and come down one by one. Punch the next one and then head back upstairs. Goron Punch the blue sections straight ahead and then roll across the snow and down to the door to the right and punch the remaining blue sections. Then roll back up to the stairs and go to the right, across the pillar and Goron punch the boulders blocking the path. Then go upstairs and you will see the last jump before the boss room. Back up and Goron roll across the gap to the Boss Room at the otherside and enter.

    Goht

When you enter, Goht will be frozen in ice. Shoot a fire arrow at him and he will start to run. Put the Goron mask on and start rolling. When you catch up to him, roll underneath him with your spikes, but watch out for the lightning he shoots at you. After a while rocks will start falling and then he will start throwing bombs. Keep delivering hits with your spikes and he will be done. He will run into the wall and a heart container will appear. Get the heart container and warp. You will now see the Giants now and they will speak to you.

    After Snowhead

Once you're back to the Mountains, the Spring will come and the snow will melt. Now you can either get approved for Powder Kegs in Goron Village or get your sword forged at the Mountain Village which will take a day (For info see Secrets page.

    Romani Ranch

To get to the next area, you must get your horse back, Epona. So warp to Clock Town from wherever you are by using the Song of Soaring. In West Clock Town, go to the Bomb shop and talk to the Goron to buy a Powder Keg for 50 rupees (if you have been approved for carrying Powder Kegs) .From South Clock Town, take the South Gate into Termina Field. Now go towards the direction of the Swamp, but turn right before the large tree to see a Road in the distance which is the Milk Road. Along the road to the left will be an owl statue. Strike it with your sword and then continue. Blocking the way through to the Ranch will be a giant boulder with a person chipping away at it with a pick. Put the Goron Mask on and use a Powder Keg and place it near the boulder to blast it. The road will now be open and you can continue on. In Romanis Ranch walk up the path and then to the right to see Epona. On the first day, you can talk to Romani who will ask you to help her fend off some intruders on the night of the first day. She will then ask you if you want to practice shooting the intruders with your bow. Agree and hop on Epona and shoot the 10 Orange baloons around Romani Ranch. If you shoot all of them in a certain amount of time, she will teach you Eponas Song. Now you can use Epona anywhere.

    Western Ocean

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Mikau

Once you're back to the first day in Clock Town after beating Goht, head for the West Gate of Clock Town to head for the Western Ocean. Once in Termina Field and you are on the sand, call Epona by playing Eponas song. Now get on Epona and ride towards the ocean. To get there, you must jump the fence in the way. Once over, walk towards the beach. You will spot something floating in the water. Jump into the water to check it out. He will tell you to pull him to shore, so grab him using A and pull him towards the beach. When you reach dry land, he will tell you that he is Mikau of the Zora band. He will then sing a song about some missing Zora eggs. He then will want you to heal his soul. So then play the Song of Healing, which will create the Zora mask and it will be yours.

    Zora Hall

Now go to the Marine Research Laboratory, the building above water and talk to the professor about the missing Zora eggs. He'll tell you to go Zora Hall. Now swim back to shore and follow the beach south through a rock arch. Then walk to the left and dive into the water as Mikau. Walk on the ocean floor and go through underwater entrance to Zora Hall. Inside Zora Hall, go around to all of the Dressing Rooms of all of the band players. Talk to them to recieve information about the eggs. Go to Evans room to find out about the 4 missing eggs in the Pirates Fortress. Then go to Lulus Room to read her diary about what happened to her. Now leave Zora Hall and go back to where you find Mikau in the water at the beginning of the beach. Go to the Marine Research Lab and swim to the right of that. Swim to where you see a large wall. There should be a Zora near by, talk to him. Now go to the right of him and dive into the water. There will be some boarded up sections of the wall. Ram the second to the left boarded up wall and enter the Pirates Fortress.

    Pirates Fortress

Once inside the fortress, dive into the water as Mikau when no boats are near you and swim to the opposite side of the fortress. There will be a Goron switch there, pound it and a gate will open near where you entered. Swim back across to the otherside and go to the left through the gate underwater. In the next room, there will be some blocks. Push and pull the blocks to make a path towards a rushing current that pulls you upward. Walk forward and avoid the current going to the left and back outside by walking on the floor. Hop onto the ledge and open the door into the next room. Walk up the ramp and pound the large barrels with a Goron punch and shoot the crystal switch on a ledge on the upper level. Hit it with an arrow or Mikaus fins to open the waterway below. Walk down and go to the left through the water. This time there will be a current on the floor so swim on the surface of the water to avoid being pulled outside. Climb the ladder into the next room and step on the switch on the floor to reveal a crystal switch on the wall. Now stand on the drain on the floor and shoot the switch with arrows or your fins and a geyser will carry you up to the upper level. There will then be a telescope, which you can use to take a look around at the fortress courtyard. Now hit the mines with your fins to make them explode, then hit the switch to open the exit to the Fortress Courtyard. Once in the courtyard survey the area, and make sure not to get caught by a guard. If you have the Stone Mask, you can go unseen by the guards (See Masks Page). Now shoot the guards around the watchtower with you bow. Now climb the ladder up to the watchtower and walk across the bridge towards the first room. Inside, walk to the left and look inside the barred window to see the pirate leader. There will be a beehive right above her, that you can shoot with an arrow to make the bees attack the pirates. Now leave the room back outside and hop down to the right to enter the second room. Walk forward and around and you will find a chest, open it to recieve the Hookshot. Now walk over to the left and fire the hookshot at the wooden beam over the water tank. Go to the bottom of the tank as Mikau and bottle up the first Zora egg.

To get the rest of the eggs in the fortress, you will need 3 more bottles (See Bottles and upgrades page). If you have to leave because you dont have enough bottles, go to the Marine Research Laboratory and release the eggs you have into the large tank and go back to the fortress. From the Goron switch, where the boats are, fire your hookshot across to the wall to gain access to the courtyard. Now for the second egg, from the where you came into the courtyard, walk to the left and hookshot to the hook above the platform above you. Then enter the room to the left, and hide behind the barrel when you get into the room. Wait for a pirate to come walking by, then hit her with an arrow and continue by going to the left and through the door. You will then meet a pirate there who will battle you. Battle with your sword to beat her, then continue to the next room. Now hookshot to the wooden beam above the tank and go in as Mikau to recover the second egg. Now get out of the tank and exit to the left door. Now once your back in the courtyard, go back to right before you entered the last door by using the hookshot. From there, look in the oposite direction of the door to see another hook. Hookshot to there and then walk across the concrete bridge. Fire an arrow at the guard near the barrel and enter at the right. Inside, use your hookshot to grab onto the last wooden beam at the end on the ceiling to land on the platform. Then use the hookshot to grab the last beam before a door. Inside the room will be another pirate waiting for a fight. Battle her, then continue to the next door. Now hop into the tank in the next room and use a bottle to catch the third egg. Now go out of the tank and exit to the left and back to the courtyard. Hop down to the bottom courtyard and walk around the outer edge of the courtyard to avoide being caught by a guard. Walk untill you're on the otherside of the watchtower and you will see another hook on a raised platform. Use the hookshot to get up there, then fire it again to the right to get up to another room. Walk to the left and into the next room. Inside, sneak by the guards by hiding behind the barrels and enter the next room. There will be the last pirate in this room. Battle her to continue on to the next room. Go into the tank and recover the fourth and last egg in the Fortress with a bottle. Before you leave the fortress, take a good pictograph of a Pirate which you will need for later. Now you can warp to the Marine Research Laboratory. Go inside and climb up the large tank and empty the bottles with the eggs in them into the water. Now you must go to Pinnacle Rock to recover 3 more eggs.

    Pinnacle Rock

Head towards shore, from the Laboratory and walk to the building on the right, The Fishermans Hut. Talk to the fisherman and then show him your picture of the Pirate. He will then give you a sea horse in an empty bottle that wants to return to Pinnacle Rock. Now exit and swim towards the two columns sticking out of the water to the north of the Laboratory. Sink down to the bottom of the water before you go through the two pillars. Now let the sea horse go and follow it from sign to sign to make it safely to Pinnacle Rock. Once you're there, dive into the large hole and explore the area. There will be several tunnels with sea snakes in them. Defeat the snakes by using your fins or your shield. One good strategy is to drive them out of their tunnel by swimming by them and then standing on the outer portion of the tunnel to hit them with your fins. Then enter the tunnel they were in and recover the eggs or treasure chest. Once you've found the 3 eggs, swim back to the two large pillars and then swim to the Laboratory. In the Laboratory, release the 3 eggs you found at Pinnacle Rock into the tank. Then hop down in front of the tank to watch the eggs come to life. Then pull out your guitar and play the notes of the New Wave Bossa Nova. Once you've learned that, warp to Zora Hall. Play the New Wave Bossa Nova in front of Lulu, who is looking out towards the ocean outside Zora Hall. The song will make the large turtle, that looks like the island come to life. Then climb on to its back by shooting your hookshot at one of the Palm trees. The turtle will take you across the Ocean and to the first room of the Great Bay Temple.

  10. Woodfall Temple

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once inside Woodfall Temple, use the Deku Pad to the left to fly to the Deku pad across the ways on the pillar. Fly from one to the other untill you find yourself at the end of the room. Open the door and walk down to the left. Now hop to the the floating flower and follow them to the otherside where another door is and open it. Inside, hop to the Deku pad and fly to the left where a treasure chest is with a key inside. Now fly back to the Deku Pad and hop to the left across the water and go inside the door. Inside will be some Snappers which you can attack by going into a Deku pad and then springing up when the Snapper is right above the pad. After you defeat the 3 of them, a treasure chest with the Dungeon Map inside will appear. Now exit the room and go forward to the door on the otherside, then to the other door on the opposite side of the next room. Enter the room and push the block in the middle of the path and then go to the right. Walk all the way untill you're back to the block in the way. Push the block forward untill you can go to the right. Now go back the way you came to the torch. Use a Deku Stick to get the fire and walk to the door on the otherside of the room. Go to the right when you get to the block and light the unlit torch to open the door. Inside the room, there will be two dragonflys which you can defeat the same way you defeated the Snappers earlier. Burrow into the Deku Pads and hit the two Dragonflys to earn a treasure chest with the Compass. Now leave the room and get a Deku Stick and light it from the torch near the door. Now go to the left and up the stairs. Light the torch and use a different Deku Stick. Light the stick and jump across to the platform to get to the spiderweb. Use the Deku Stick to burn the web and continue to the 2nd floor.

Upstairs you will be warned by Tatl that there is much evil in this room. Walk forward and go to the torch and use a Deku Stick and light it. Now light the 3 other torches in the room to open the next door. Enter the next room where there will be a large gap in the room with Deku pad platforms flying around. Use the Deku Pad nearby to fly from pad to pad while watching out for the dragonflies. At the last pad jump to the platform with the stairs and go down the stairs. Now you will be on the upper level of the main room. Walk ahead to the switch and use Link to press it down which will make some ladders appear. Now go through the door by the switch and walk to the right and then left to go through another door. In this room, there will be a Lizalfos waiting for you. Strike it with your sword a couple of times to earn the Hero's Bow. Now exit the room and go to the otherside of that room to the door. Go through the door to find a frog with a Snapper. To defeat it, burrow into the Deku Pads and hit it when it is right above you. Then when the frog is on the wall, use your Bow to shoot it as Link. Repeat this a couple of times and then advance to the next room to open the chest with the Boss Key. Now go back the way you came back to the main room of the temple. If not already on the upper level, climb up by using the ladders that you made earlier. Now shoot and arrow through the torch and to the torch sticking up out of the flower on the water. If you hit it, it will rise and start rotating. Now go over to where you can jump onto the pedals of the flower. Get on the flower and then position yourself so you can see an unlit torch in the distance through the one on the flower. Shoot an arrow to light the torch and if you hit it, it will open a door on the upper level. Go up to the door and enter it to reach the final room before the boss. Inside the large room there will be many Deku pads. Use the pad closest to you and fly to the pad above you to the left. Then fly to the next and the next one. From this point, look across the room to see a switch. Shoot the switch with an arrow, which will stop the fire atop a pillar for a brief while. Now use the Deku Pad and fly to the pad or pillar to the left. Then from that one, fly to the pad on the pillar and make sure to watch your shadow. Then fly to ledge above you where there will be another Deku pad, that you can use to reach the Boss Door across the way. Fly over to the door and open it to prepare for the boss.

    Odolwa

Inside, Odolwa the Masked Jungle Warrior will tumble down. To beat him, you should keep a distance from him, and hit him with arrows while he is still. After some hits, he will send some insects after you. Hit them with your sword, but watch out for Odolwas spin attack and ring of fire. Once you're out of arrows, use bombs and throw them at him. After a couple of hits he vanishes and leaves behind Odolwas remains and a heart container. Grab the heart container and warp through the blue light. You will appear in a strange place where you will hear notes of a song, which is the Oath to Order, the song of the giants.

    After Woodfall

You will then warp back to Woodfall Temple, where the poisonous water will disappear. You will then end up in the last room of the temple. You then hear a rustling sound coming from a room with vines covered on it. Slash the vines with your sword and you will meet the Deku Princess. The princess will tell you that the monkey did not kidnap her and that she must get to the Deku Palace quickly. Use a bottle to catch her, and exit Woodfall. Hop down to the Deku Palace below and enter. When you get to the King, open the bottle. The princess will come out and say to let the monkey go. The monkey will be free and thank you for what you did. The king will then grant you a prize that his butler will show you to in the Deku Cave, outside the palace walls. Now you can either go to the Deku Cave (See the Masks page), go to the fairys fountain to turn in your shattered fairys (See stray fairies page) or warp back to the first day.

    Nothern Mountains

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once you've beaten Odolwa and warped back to the first day, head North for the mountains. If in Clock Town, use the North gate. Go down the hill and find the pathway that leads up to the mountains. Follow the pathway until you get to a block of ice in the way. Shoot the icicle above the Ice with an arrow a couple of times and proceed along the path. Follow the path going left then right and you will be blocked by some boulders. Use a bomb to blast the boulders and continue along. Continue going straight and you will appear in the Mountain Village. You will see the Mountain Smithy a large log building. Turn to the right of the building and follow that path. Along the path you should cross some bridges and be encountered by some White Wolfos. Once past that you are in the Goron Village. Walk along the paths beside the houses until you find an owl sitting on a pillar. The owl will ask if you want to go to the other side of the big gap between you and the Lone peak shrine in the distance. Once he starts flying, feathers from his body fall off and land on mid air. Jump where the feathers landed one by one until you make it to the shrine, where the owl will meet you again. Now enter the shrine, and inside there will be a treasure chest with the Lens of Truth. Defeat the one skulltula inside using the Lens of Truth, and then leave. This time use the Lens of Truth to make it back to the otherside. At the otherside, you will see a ghost figure. When you speak to him, he will tell you that he is Darmani, the Goron hero and he wants you to follow him. Follow him using your Lens of Truth and by getting magic along the way. Follow him back to the Mountain Village, where he goes by the water and up a hill. Use the Lens of Truth and you will see the rungs of the ladder to get up the hill. To make it safely up, go up, right, up, left, up, right, and up. Once at the top, you will see Darmani again. Follow him into the Graveyard up ahead. Inside, talk to him and he will tell you to heal his sorrows. To heal his sorrows, play the Song of Healing. He lays to rest and his spirit goes into the Goron mask which you recieve.

Now leave the Graveyard and go back to Goron Village, the same way you came. When there, talk to the Goron next to the house on Day1 as Darmani and have him open up the Goron shrine door. On days 2 and 3, the Goron will be rolling around in a snowball which you can break by rolling into it with your spikes. Once you have the shrine door open, hurry to go in, because it will close quickly. Inside, go up the path to the top of the shrine and go to the left through the opening, and you will see a crying baby. Talk to him as Darmani and he will say that he wants his Daddy. When you finish the conversation, leave the shrine by going back the same way and to the right. Now go back to the place with the Wolfos, between the Goron Village and the Mountain Village. As you're going back and crossing the last bridge, turn left and Goron punch the big snowball where an old Goron is frozen in ice. Now to unfreeze him, go back to the Graveyard in the Mountain Village. Go to Darmanis grave and pull it back. Hot Spring water will come out of the bottom of his grave. Bottle up some of the Hot Spring water and go back to the old Goron. You have to hurry back because the Hot Spring water will cool quickly. Now pour the water on him and he will unfreeze and speak to you. He will then teach you the Gorons Lullaby Intro since he's too cold to play the rest. Now once you've learned the Gorons Lullaby Intro, go back to the Goron shrine in the Goron village. Speak to the Goron to open the door and find the crying baby again. As Darmani use your drums to play the Gorons Lullaby Intro. He will then stop crying, and teach you the rest of the song. When you've learned the Gorons Lullaby you can now go back to the Mountain Village and get ready for Snowhead. Once back in the Mountain Village go to the opposite side of the Mountain Smithy and follow the path close to the river towards Snowhead. As you start walking, you will see some ramps. Back up, and roll across the ramps at full speed. Once you clear it, keep rolling because there is another ramp ahead. After you've cleared that, keep going along the path. You will then come upon Snowhead.

At your right, there will be an owl statue. Hit it with your sword as Link and continue on. You will then see a large gust blowing you away. As a Goron, use the Lens of Truth and look in the direction of the wind. You will see a Goron there. Now play the Gorons Lullaby, which will put it to sleep and clear the path for you. Now you can continue walking. As you walk hit the boulders coming at you with a Goron punch. At the end of the path go to the left and up the side of the Temple. At the end, their will be an opening, the Entrance to Snowhead Temple.

  11. The Beginning

The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask starts a few months after Link defeated Ganon in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Link one day is riding through the forest with Epona. They come across two fairies, that startle Epona and knock Link down to the ground. The Skull Kid then appears wearing Majoras Mask. He takes Links ocarina and plays with it. Link then awakens from his sleep and the Skull Kid hops on Epona and rides off. Link grabs onto Epona and follows them into a parallel dimension.

    ------

    The Chase

Once you have gained control of Link, follow the Skull Kid by going through the tree-trunk passageway. You will come to a point where you fall into a deep hole. Once at the bottom you will see the Skull Kid with his two fairies. He tells you that he got rid of Epona. He than transforms you into the body of a Deku Scrub. He tells that you will be trapped as a Deku Scrub forever. The Skull Kid then leaves, but leaves one of his fairies behind, Tatl. You promise to help her find the Skull Kid. Continue through the door and the hallway. Once you're to the next room, Tatl will explain to you how to use the Deku Pads on the ground. Use the Deku Pad to get across the room to the door. Then in the next room, fly above the deep hole using the Deku Pads to get to the opening on the right. Go through the opening, and you will end up in a parallel dimension, the Land of Termina.

    Clock Town

Once you're in the Clock Tower, follow the pathways up to the entrance of the tower. When you start to go outside, The Happy Mask Salesman will confront you and say a terrible fate has fallen upon you. He will tell you that he knows a way that you can be turned back to you original self if you recover the object that was stolen from you. After you talk to him, exit the Clock Tower and you will find yourself in South Clock Town. You will be informed that you have 72 hours left till the moon crashes.

The first thing you must do is retreive the shattered fairy and bring it to the fairys fountain in North Clock town. The shattered fairy during the day, is in the laundry pool. During the night, it is hovering above in East Clock town. To get the fairy during the night, you will have to use the Deku Pad in order to reach it. Once you have the fairy, head towards North Clock Town and into the cave where the fairys fountain is. There is where the shattered fairys will join together to make the Great Fairy. The Great fairy will give you magic power and be able to shoot bubbles as a deku scrub. Once out of the fountain, shoot down the purple balloon in the air, and talk to Jim the Bombers gang leader. Accept his game and get ready to find all of the Bombers. You must find all 5 of them by the next morning or you will have to try again. Two of them are in North Clock Town. 1 is in West Clock Town, and 2 are in East Clock Town. One in East Clock town is up on a roof with a chicken which is hard to see. After you find them all, they will give you a secret passcode to enter their hideout in the Observatory. Remember the numbers and talk to the kid in East Clock Town blocking the entrance. Give him the passcode and you're in.

Enter through the passageway and go to the right. Hop across the water and go to the left and then the right, where you will come to a large room with another purple balloon. Shoot it down and then climb the ladder. Once your through go to the right and up the stairs. At the top you will see a man, talk to him and look through his telescope. Look at the top of the clock tower and you will see the Skull kid. Then a moons tear will fall just outside. Stop looking at the telescope and go to the door along the wall which leads outside. To your left is the Moons tear. Pick it up and then head back to Clock Town the way you came in.

Once back in Clock Town, head towards South Clock Town. You will see a yellow Deku Pad with a Deku Scrub in it near the Clock Tower. Talk to it and give it your Moons Tear in trade for a town title deed. You can now use the Deku pad to reach the balcony of the Clock Tower on the midnight of the final day. There is also a heart piece there. Once it is midnight of the final day the Clock towers upper door will open. Fly up there and enter. Once in, you will see the Skull kid with his fairy Tael. He tells that nothing can stop the moon from crashing. Once the timer begins of 5:00:00 shoot down the Skull Kid with a bubble. If hit he will drop your ocarina and you will remember how you got the Ocarina of Time and The Song of Time. Then when you have the chance play the Song of Time and it will warp you back 3 days to the morning of the 1st day.

Once you return to the morning of the 1st day, go and see the Happy Mask salesman. There he will teach you the song of healing which creates masks. Once you play it, the spirit of the Deku Scrub goes away, and you return back to Link. He tells that you must recover Majoras Mask from the Skull Kid or something terrible will happen. Exit the clock tower and head straigh towards the opening where a guard is. He will let you through only if you are Link. Once you're through you are in Termina Field.

    Termina Field

Once outside of Clock Town, you are in Termina Field. Walk forward untill you come across a large tree where you will stop and Tatl will tell you the story of the Skull Kid and how he was so lonely. After she tells the story continue heading south. Along the way you will come across a fairy hanging on a balloon above you. Shoot the balloon and Tingle will come falling down. If you have enough rupees, you can buy a map of Woodfall, which will come in handy. Once you've done that continue along the path untill you come across the Southern Swamp. In front of you will be the Tourist Information Center that you will visit later. First, head towards the left through the water and onto the land. follow the passageway to where you see a house above water. In back of the house on the ground is an opening which leads into the Woods of Mystery. Once in, follow the monkey. The path will be different each day so follow carefully. At the end of the path you will find Koume. She will ask for a bottle of potion which you will have to go back to the house above water, which is Kotakes Potion shop. Exit the woods through one of the passageways and go see Kotake. She will give you a bottle of red potion for free if she hears about Koume from you. Then go back through the woods and give the potion to Koume. She will be revived and able to operate the swamp boat cruise. Now exit the woods and 3 monkeys will confront you and tell you to go to The Deku Palace to save a monkey. So now go back to the Tourist Information Center at the beginning and enter. Talk to Koume and she will give you a free boat cruise and a free pictograph box to take pictures of the swamp.

Half way through the ride you will arrive at the Deku Palace. Choose to disembark and go though the door where the monkey is.

    Deku Palace

Once inside follow the path to where two Deku Scrubs are. They will only let you in if you are a Deku Scrub. Once in continue forward towards the Deku Kings chamber where he will tell you that a monkey is being punished for kidnapping the Deku Princess. After that, leave and go back the same way and turn left before exiting. You will have to wind your way through the Deku Garden without being caught by any guards, or you will go back to the beginning of the Deku Palace. Work your way by going straigt, then left, then right where you will find a grotto and a magic bean shop. While there, buy some magic beans and bottle up some fresh water. Then leave the same way you came and go outside the palace and hop across the lily pads to the left so you don't drown. Once on land, there will be a patch of soft soil. Plant the seeds there, and then water it and it will grow. Then stand on top of it and hop onto the top of the wall where you will see a Deku pad. Use the Deku Pad to fly to the next nearest Deku Pad. Keep repeating, until you come across an opening in sight, fly to it and enter it. You will end up in the cell with the monkey in the Deku Kings Chambers.

Once in, talk to the monkey he will tell you that he did'nt really kidnap the princess. Accept to help him and bring out your Deku pipes. Once he sees them, he will teach you The Sonata of Awakening. After that you will be found by the guards and thrown out of the palace. When you're outside the palace walls, go to the right along the lily pads untill you see a Deku Pad with a sign that says "Woodfall Temple Shortcut" use the pad and walk through and you're outside in the swamp.

Now fly from Deku Pad to Deku Pad along the mushrooms, then fly to the owl right beside the waterfall. He will teach you about the owl statues in your journey and will teach you the Song of Soaring. After you learn the song use the deku pad to fly to the other side of the waterfall. Then enter the passageway. Walk to the right and follow the wooden boards untill you run into a dead end. Take the other Deku Scrubs pad and fly up to the Deku Altar, a circular platform. Hit the owl statue with your sword so you can come back if needed. Then play the Sonata of Awakening on the Deku Symbol, and Woodfall Temple will rise out of the swamp. Go to the other door in the room, use the Lens of Truth and look on the wall above the Silver Rupee in the corner to see a Hookshot target. Use the Longshot to get onto the invisible ledge and grab the Silver Rupee. Equip the Hover Boots and collect the final Silver Rupee to open a door.
