I had to hand make a Link Costume for my nephew for Halloween, but I cheated by cannibalizing an already existing Peter pan costume. I also made a Hylian shield from cardboard and craft foam and painted a Lord of the Rings Ringwraith sword to look like the Master Sword. Then with the little time I had left cobbled together a Ganondorf costume (which consisted of a black shirt and pants, an old grey duster jacket, a cheap red wig, dark green grease make-up and a cheap plastic generic Halloween skull hilted sword).

I very briefly played Wind Waker HD over the Weekend. I love the remastered score and will be getting this game as soon as possible.

In the 1987 film Robocop Detroit Michigan is depicted as a near Dystopian City steeped in financial ruin. Oddly enough Detroit now finds itself in a very similar situation as the one depicted in the film.

It seems that the folks over at The CW and Detective Comics have got a little Shared Universe going on. First there was (Green) Arrow then The Flash and it seems that a couple more series will be joining them, Vixen an Animated series set to air on (Sister station) Cartoon Network and a live action Atom series is in early development. Unfortunately for Gotham, Constantine and Supergirl these series will not share in the continuity or the forthcoming Cinematic Universe either.
Marvel on the other hand has explicitly stated that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Agent Carter, Daredevil, aka Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders will all be contained within their Cinematic Universe.
In other news it seems that Director Drew Goddard (Cloverfield, World War Z) has been tapped to helm the new Sony/Marvel collaborative Spider-Man film tentatively titled Spectacular Spider-Man (I guess hoping for Ultimate Spider-Man was a bit much).

Michael J. Fox's middle name is Andrew.
When trying to register with the Screen Actor's Guild as Michael Fox he was dismayed to discover that there already was a Michael Fox registered so after briefly considering Andrew or Andy Fox he finally decided on the middle initial J as an homage to actor Michael J. Pollard.

I remember the good old days when The Legend of Zelda was an obscure game known only to die-hard Nintendo geeks, now it's becoming more mainstream.
I mean just look at this!:
Legend of Zelda Yahtzee!
And Monopoly!
Now I hear there's even a planned Lego set
This is a fan model but it'll give you an idea of what to expect.

During a recent Twitter Q&A with Guardians director James Gunn he was asked if any of his favorite Marvel characters would appear in Guardians 2 too which the director replied that "Marvel has given me the go ahead to add a favorite character to the film. In the Past Gunn has made it known that he is fond of Beta Ray Bill, Starhawk and Adam Warlock.
As hopeful as I am to see the Planet Korbin in the MCU and watch Beta Ray Bill wield Mjolnir, I think that Adam Warlock will be the one in Question. He is a major player in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline of Avengers 3 (a two part film) and his Cocoon was seen opened in the Collector's collection post credits.

I assume it's going to be bad. One reason being that it's made by Netflix. I didn't even know Netflix made its own shows so... I can only imagine. I'll probably just end up watching it online though because Netflix is too expensive anyway.

Listen my children and you will hear of the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.......Ha!
In truth Revere never completed his famous ride a man (and fellow Connecticut native) Israel Bissell took up the slack from Revere.

Listening to some early David bowie.
I love "Under Pressure" the song he did with Queen.
I bought the entire album of Rush 2112, I've been listening to that.

It's my own take on the story for the TV show yes. I'll be using elements and characters from every game but loosely follow the Ocarina of Time story.
Link's uncle Rusl (TP) is a Blacksmith (Minish Cap) and former soldier (ALTTP) who served with a young Prince Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule (Wind Waker), that sort of thing with a bit of my own bullshit thrown in.

You had to know that I was gonna do this.
This is but one of the Legends of which the people speak......
Long ago before life began and the world took form, three Goddesses descended upon a chaotic land.
Din with her Powerful flaming arms, she cultivated the land and created the Red and fertile soil
Nayru poured her Wisdom onto the Land giving the Spirit of Law to the World
Farore with her Courageous soul produced all forms of life to uphold law
The Goddesses labor's were completed and they departed this world in a great, blinding flash. However something occurred that they didn't expect Three Golden Triangles, physical manifestations of their power were left where they departed. These powerful relics became the basis for the land's providence and where they landed became Sacred Land.
To keep the power out of evil hands Seven of the lands wisest citizens were chosen to spirit the Triforce away and it's location became a secret to all but that chosen few.
But now, a shadow from the East seeks the location of the Triforce and nothing with stay his hand or quell his desire.

Marvel and ABC have released a Poster from the Second half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's Second season. Now that "Skye"(aka Daisy Johnson aka Quake) and Reyna have been exposed to the Terrigan Mist they have been turned into the MCU version of The Inhumans. More Inhumans will be seen in the second half drawn to Daisy and Reyna (possibly in the Hood).

I thought she was dead in like, all of the universes :x
Nope. In her Home reality she was bitten by the Radioactive Spider instead of Peter.

I haven't really talked about Spider-Verse that much because I haven't read it yet but I do like one aspect of it.
Gwen Stacy Spider-Woman, affectionately dubbed Spider-Gwen by the fans.

Another interesting bit from the above poster mentions "Music by Danny Elfman". This is interesting because composer Brain Taylor is doing the music for the film. This has led to speculation that Spider-Man might show up in some kind of post credits scene, now the reason is kind of convoluted so bear with me.
In the original Spider-Man movie series (2002-07) Danny Elfman served as Composer. People are using this as evidence that Spider-Man (possibly even Toby McGuire's Peter) will be the "Older" Spider-Man used in the upcoming Civil War. In the Marvel Civil War comics it's an older Peter Parker who unmasks publicly and not a Teenager so I'm all for this idea (as convoluted as it is).

In 1996 Marvel and DC buried the Hatchet by creating Amalgam Comics featuring combined versions of their heroes. Among them was Darkclaw, Super Soldier, Iron Lantern and Dr. Strangefate.
He's Charles Xavier.

Very sneaky sis!
It turns out that in addition to the Avengers pictured above one new character will be joining the team. Caps "Winter Soldier" sidekick Sam Wilson "The Falcon" (Anthony Mackie) will possibly join the fight against Ultron, hopefully in a more page accurate costume. Another returning character will be Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) hot off the heels of her much lauded tv series, possibly setting up the whole "Aunt Peggy" storyline for caps love interest Agent 13 aka Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp). Also making an appearance is none other than Heimdal the larger than life Asgardian and keeper of the BiFrost (Idris Elba).

There was this guy across the hall from me, his name was Benjamin and he lived quite an exciting life. He grew up penniless in Mississippi and had to work instead of going to school. He joined the Army and served in Korea. Afterwards he went to college and studied to be an Architect. He traveled all over the world designing buildings and in 2005 suffered a stroke which ultimately landed him here.
He died this past Sunday. What I hate the most is losing people.
Rest in peace Benji.
