    For the past few months, I have planned on getting a 3DS. I have £110 (I need £60 more in order to get one).

    My dad is convinced I will need glasses if I get one (a ridiculous notion, I know, but that isn't the point). He also says I need a phone.

    So, he said if I give him the £110 I have now, he'll buy me a brand-new iPhone 4.

    So what do I do? I'm a bit torn. Help would be much appreciated. ^_^

    I doubt that price holds too much authenticity. I was predicting about £150 (U.K. money) which works out about $220 (U.S. money). That's the price the DSi was originally. If it goes any higher, it almost certainly won't be anything beyond £170/£180 ($250/$265). That seems a much more likely sum.

    Anyway, certainly getting this on release day. No question about it.

    I'll have an 8-week Summer Holiday starting in 3 weeks, but I've been playing a lot of RPGs at the moment and I'm kind of sick of grinding. I'll buy Tri eventually, but I THINK I'll go with Galaxy 2.

    I must say I was leaning towards Galaxy 2 to be sure. And in response to your other, rather irritating point, Frecklefart, I already have one (not that I play it nearly as much as my Wii, I'm a Ninty fanboy t'be sure).

    I can buy the Monster Hunter Tri Limited Edition Pack (this includes the game, Classic controller pro and Wii Speak) which will cost me more or Super Mario Galaxy 2 (will cost less). Price doesn't particularly matter. Basically, which do I get?

    I don't see why you had to call him that. Do get a life, why don't you?

    Anyway, I too will be going for grass. In Gen 1 I was Charmander all the way, Gen 2 Totodile, Gen 3 Mudkip and then Gen 4 Chimchar, so I've never had any experience with a grass starter. Should be interesting. Overall I think I'm liking all of the new Pokemon, starters and the Zoroark family included.

    I am looking forward to it. I loved the Kanto and Johto regions, and Gold and Silver are my favorite Gameboy Color games. I've been looking forward to this for quite a while, even made threads on a different site, asking the probability, last year. Everyone who responded wanted them, and I want them too.

    What if they went the extra mile and added more islands? Or perhaps, let us challenge Gym Leaders more than once? The suspense is killing me inside. I am highly anticipating this.

    I shall get a Totodile... I can't wait. ^_^

    Yes, they will be allowing you to re-battle Gym Leaders. Awesome, isn't it? :joy:

    After prebiously starting a topic before the release of HG/SS, I explained how I thought it likely for Nintendo to release Kanto/Hoenn starters and legendaries in these games, therefore destroying the need to hunt down and pay ridiculous amounts of money for the GBA games. After seeing Serebii.net today, it was revealed that Mewtwo and every starter in existence, allong with Latios/Latias are available in the game. My theory/hope that this would happen has been confirmed, and it is yet more reason to celebrate that Nintendo is finally heading in the right direction for us more hardcore gamers (sorry, I hate those words, but they now hold quite a good meaning).

    For your information I take very good care of my game. My game isn't really broken. It just doesn't want to save.

    Yeah, I bought my Silver from a car boot sale (do they have them in America? Or is it just yard sale?) and it wouldn't save the very first time I put it on! I played a ROM a few months back and I really loved it though. I can't wait for the new ones for that reason. And I've got an idea for the Pokewalker thing: leopard!

    I call that genius. Because, no matter where I am, I can train my pokemon. If I'm hanging out with friends who think pokemon is stupid? Keep it in my pocket. If I'm hanging out with friends who like pokemon? Show it to them. When I'm asleep at night? Pin it to the cat's collar and let her walk around with it.

    This is gonna be awesome.

    Don't you worry about the people who just shake it for hours on end though? I must admit, it's even tempting me. But about what he said, that Cat thing IS genius! :joy:

    It's, what you call them, stepcounter??

    MEaning you could shake it in order to get your pokemons stats up.

    It's called the Pokewalker, and it has minigames on it too. I worry about that as well though... I don't think people in competitive play would bother though because I'm not sure if it gives EV's. I think it might actually... :confused:

    I have Wii and 360, and they both have good libraries of games. I don't mind shooters, but I went for Wii, though I am getting tired of their constant casual/hardcore cack. DAMN THEM! It's about as annoying as this: :navi:

    I'm pretty bad in that half the time I don't stick to one game, but I'm trying to stay with Infinite Undiscovery for the moment. I like the game, but the name is random and HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME!! :angry:

    I think as long as they don't go and completely change everything that made the original great, this could turn out to be the best, and probably with all the additions the definitive Pokemon game. :D

    Today, Serebi.net reported that according to some scans of the new issue of Corocoro, Mewtwo, Latios and Latias are obtainable through Heart Golf and Soul Silver. And as we already know, Groudon and Kyogre are also catchable in the two games. It seems Game Freak has realized how difficult it is to get the older games now, and with Platinum and these remakes, it seems they're making it possible to recapture all of the Pokemon we needed the old games for off GBA. Considering the confirmation of Kanto, this might mean we'll be able to obtain the Kanto starters too, and maybe even Hoenn starters! What do you think of this? How else could Game Freak possibly improve HG/SS? These games are going to be a love letter to us Poke Nuts! Talk about fan service! :wake:

    Dont get me wrong, OoT is stunning, and it is indeed one of the best, if not THE best game Ive ever played, but I cant help but feel I enjoyed Majora's Mask much more.

    What dreams or ideas do you have for something like this? 5 regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Orre), shadow pokemon re-introduced, or mabie even new pokemon? What do you think?
