  1. "I am sorry to all of you that I did not reveal myself sooner. It was the only way to guarantee what safety we had left after leaving the castle grounds. I will understand if you find my reasoning senseless, at best." The princess frowned and lowered her head humbly to her subjects, "As of late my judgement has been rash and irresponsible. My foolish orders lead Danielle into the desert, and yet look at the state of her now. I should have known better, should have foreseen these consequences, and yet I did not."

  2. Eh, some girls can pull off not wearing makeup, I just happen to not be one of them. The picture at fifteen is the only one where I'm actually wearing any sort of foundation or lipstick. You may also have a preference for goth chicks... :ohmygod:

  3. Lol. I thought there were no girls on the internet, only men and FBI agents.

EDIT: How sweet of you, Figurehead. :P Fifteen was also the peak of my crazy.

  4. Lol. I've been told enough times on the internet and off that I'm an ugly she-beast. xD I just put in a disclaimer to let you know I don't think I'm the poo.

  5. Okay, for fun, I'm going to show you older to newer pictures. I've had my hair cut since the last one, though. Now I has me some bangs. %D

Picture one: Me at fifteen dressed up by request of a friend of mine. "you'd look so cute in this!" "%D Okaay. I like dress-up. Dur.."

Picture two: Me cosplaying as sailor Uranus at seventeen

Picture three and four: me at eighteen getting pictures taken

Short version of this post: Commence eye bleaching, gentlemen.

  6. :3 I could post some pictures of me, but people would have to get out the eye bleach first so they can be ready to see my face. xD

  7. "The preserves -if the Bulbins didn't find or brake them during their short stay- should be enough for a couple days until we pull together another plan of action and let the girls rest a bit." She moved toward the other woman who had yet to reveal her identity and rested a hand on the other woman's shoulder. "Whenever you're ready, I think it will be safe to show yourself here." She murmured, taking a quick glance over the others. The smaller woman nodded her head and spoke again.

"Yes, I think now is best to cease any worry they may have." She pulled the mask from her face and let her hair fall down her back in a long braid, her blue eyes taking in the people who now stared back at her. "The princess is safe." she spoke softly, looking up at the guards with a small smile, then down at her cousin and Danielle. "I hope I didn't worry you too much?"

  8. Mugo was just about as lost as the Sheikah in that respect, not having any idea of where they should go aside from Kakariko Village or Lake Hylia, but those were most likely completely over run if the Castle was already taken. He could feel his chest tighten before he opened his mouth, "I put my trust in you to pick. My way will most likely lead us into more danger if the spirit's tale holds true." He sighed and tried to ignore the sweat beading on his brow, wishing for a breeze to cool him while they waited for the verdict.

'Will my parents be alright? Is it too late to try and save them from the village?'

    =====

Juna motioned for him and the others through the pass, luckily a few years back it was cleared of the Bulbins that inhabited it and was simply known as a city for stray cats from that point forward. Only a very few people knew of this old village, one on the back of Cale's horse, the others very few and far between, scattered across the land in secrecy. One, fate would have it, was the hero of time. As they moved through the cool cave and into the small city, Juna gave a warning, "Be careful, there are barrels of explosives set in places. I wouldn't recommend lighting any fires unless you talk to me first or know your explosives." Something about how she spoke told the others that she wasn't joking in the slightest, and sure enough as they came in, they passed a barrel marked with a warning on the side.

"You can check the buildings for jars of preserves that may be left intact, but I wouldn't do it alone. The Bulbins are gone, but there are still scorpions and snakes."

  9. Lol. I'd like to know why this is, too. Trains are awesome machines, just thinking about cool scenes they could use with the trains gives me ideas. I wans't planning on using a railway in my story, but I think I might have them beginning construction since I'm writing about young Link.. :D Think of all of the chasing scenes, explosions, trains flying off the tracks or fighting inside of the cars.. freaking awesome.

  10. Juna nodded and looked to her silent companion before she turned to the guards, "Neither I nor my companion have a horse to ride, and going back into the city would be a mistake at this point. We'll need to double up of we want to move quickly." The Sheikah woman looked between the guards and waited for a response, once one was given, Juna and the other woman saddled up with willing knights. Juna began to direct the knight she sat with, having him lead the way out of the field and toward the canyon passes.

  11. Juna glanced back at Cale, slowed only enough to grab hold of him roughly, and proceeded to sprint again with him tagging behind her until they made it to the gates and nearly skidded to a halt nearly trampling the carcasses of the enemy that lay strewn over the entry. "We have no time to lose, not a second." the Sheikah turned her head and spotted the group not far off, rushing over toward them and stopping for only a small while. "We need to get out of here. Now. I know a place to take the wounded, but you'll need to trust my judgement." Without another word, she pulled her mask from her face, revealing tan skin, red eyes and stark white hair. The other woman did not desire reveal herself so soon and so close to enemy territory, which in itself showed who she was to the quicker people surrounding her.

  12. As the woman pulled him down the street by the arm she spoke very briefly about where they were going before they could see the gates of the city not too far ahead of them, "The princess is safe. That is all I will say for now on this accursed ground. Follow me and we'll meet with your companions soon enough." she breathed this last part as she attempted to sprint, knowing it wouldn't be long before they had a trail of enemies running behind them and aiming from tall towers. Juna couldn't take all of them on by herself, and Cale most likely didn't want to face another beast when he knew there was safety outside of those walls.

    ------

"They shouldn't be long." the young woman mentioned, glancing over her shoulder at the gates.

    ------

Mugo seemed taken aback by Natu's sudden change of character, but tried to ignore it as euphoria for having his leg and life handed back to him by the grace of one of the most powerful faeries in Hyrule. "Well, the next stop would be to go back home and gather what we can, but something tells me we won't be able to make it that far without another creature coming after us along the way." His grayish blue eyes squinted across the bright burning sands, shielding those weak eyes with a rough hand from the blazing sun above as he tried to see what landmarks they could find to see how far they were from the exiting path. "Well, Mera?"

  13. In a low voice, Azathoth was given an answer from the shadows before a flashing, flaming light streamed for his face, crackling energetically and screaming as it zipped around him and threatened to hit him, "That information does not belong with you, traitorous lecher." As the powerful figure was distracted for a very short amount of time, Juna leapt from the shadows for Cale and grabbed a hold of him where she could, tugging him back with all she had before he could pull back and protest this escape plan. "Come now!"

  14. (( I just don't know how to go about the cave of ordeals since Umbreon and Ivo are both on hiatus and I thought they would run into the fairy at the first fountain as they came in... But people wanted to go through the levels..

EDIT: Okay, to make things simpler for everyone (meaning myself, since I was asked nicely to take care of multiple characters at a time) I'm going to lump the encounter together and get us moving out of the desert so everyone in this part doesn't feel so stuck.))

To sum it all together, Mera and the bulbins lead Mugo and Natu down the long winding corridors, killing off small enemies on the way until they reached the magnificent great faerie in her fountain. Mera and Mugo pleaded with her for help, and feeling pity for the unconscious severely burnt man, she mended his wounds. Not only that, but she healed the wound completely and gave Natu back the gift of walking. For this gift, she asked nothing in return of them and bid them farewell once they all had rested for a short time in the coolness of her chamber just before the first door. The party had done what they had come for and got a much better outcome than they had thought they would end with and left the cave of ordeals in a much better mood. Though, there was still a far more pressing feeling that they were in far more danger than a badly wounded and possibly infected leg as before. Something larger and far more deadly sat on that horizon, mocking them in their hearts as they looked upon it.

    ------

The young woman followed him as they started to move, whispering to him along the way, "I have another working with me. She'll no doubt try and intercept him before he reaches the inside. Lets only hope that things do not grow hostile between them when she stops him."

  15. You're right on that one. I actually had to look up a few Zora before I drew mine, and even though she's pretty different you can tell I got most of my ideas from TP, and the 'hair style' from the queen of the Zoras, as well as the brow and eye markings. I may make up poses for people, but I won't lie and tell you I don't look at multiple photo references for the ones I find more complicated.

I guess my overall message is: Keep drawing, Spiko. Don't let people get you down with harsh comments. The only person that can make you stop drawing and stop feeling inspired to draw is yourself, nobody else. I think if you keep going, keep your mind open to good, honest critique, and evolve your style into something memorable, you'll do well and leave a good impression on people in the future.

  16. lol. I'm just saying, you can tell he's young. He's probably just gotten into middle school or he's close to it, and pictures he's drawing are things that I'd be proud of at his age. It may not be perfectly proportioned and the photo may not be clear, but it's not absolutely awful or anything. I think he did a good job getting his character down, even if he did eye a pose from the original artwork, it isn't a crime to use a pose for learning purposes.

  17. I don't really think the picture's that bad. Especially since he's about at the same point I was at his age with drawing. I was eying Rugrats characters off the television and copying sailor moon VHS covers. That's how I started out, and I think copying and eying characters is how we start to learn how to draw things. If he keeps at it, he will get better over time.
