The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword announced

At E3 this morning, the first thing that was announced is the next installment of the Zelda series.
The title is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and it appears to have a somewhat realistic style akin to Twilight Princess, with Wind Waker's lighter atmosphere, and in fact, appears to implement cel shading. Link is also wielding the Master Sword.

It does include 1:1 sword control, and the nunchuk is used as a shield. Miyamoto is doing a presentation.
It appears that they have a bit of technical difficulty at the moment, but they have revealed a few items and mechanics.

- You can run with the A button, roll with a shake of the nunchuk
- Item selection, aiming done with Wii Motion Plus
- Items include a remote control beetle, sort of like a boomerang, and the whip

Just remember, folks.
Thanks to YLA, Sahaqiel called it.

I'm not sure the game demo is rendered...as in for the Twilight Princess E3 demo...it was un-rendered..

The final product may give us a graphic overhaul.

I do not think we saw the same conference.
from my point of view the conference was really pathetic.
i mean...4 years of development for this?
I got the feeling that nintendo did not give importance to the game, it was like, here is the new zelda, whatever ...
the gameplay looks good in the video but awful in the demo :(

They had interference from something. They said it works, and from the trailers they showed (not the on stage gameplay) it obviously does work very well. As for the graphics, they are beautiful. Much better than Twilight Princess, even.
