And mm... that's true. I could always take relaxants and such and pretty much be close to dozing off: the pain will certainly be less intense. Of course that would probably mean that I'd need a C section, which is more dangerous for the birthing of the infant or so I'm told.

My mom had her first child without the help of pain relievers and never did it again but there had been speculation that using that help may have adverse affects on your child (this had not been proven) and you get kinda "out of it" during the entire labor and you may not be allowed to hold your child right after its birth but they usually let the father hold it first.

About the fear thing I already knew that the parts were seperated but that didn't changed the fact that I fear putting a penis inside me (but mybe it is going to be like how I was with tampons I will fear them until I actually put one in) but that will have to wait until I am married.
