The Legend of Cascade

i was thinking of making a Zelda parody game at some point in the future, nothing big, but the main idea was for the game to be about Dustin and his journey to overthrow LL, the merciless king of the forums (true story btw)

and he would have to rescue the moderators from dungeons and give them their powers so they can help

also its named after a female forum member (cascade) who contributed absolutely nothing to the main plot yet gets to have their name in the title

unless you guys have a better one

this probably wont be happening anytime soon but i was wondering what you guys thought and if there were any suggestions for this

also if you guys want to draw concept art for the characters that is cool with me

best idea or bestest idea?

Protagonist: Dustin

Antagonist: LL

Princess: Cascade

Moderators/Sages/people who need rescuing:

Sahaqiel

Kimmy

Cirt

Monsters:

Jareddude-

GH-SS-

Muffin-Moblin

Bosses:

Pheo-Hero of Darkness

how would you shamelessly insert yourself into the game? Would you be some kind of secret 1000000000000000000000000000000HP boss who shoots burning $100 bills?

Saha can be your helicopter hair friend who can speed travel you after a certain point in the adventure

all the really weak annoying enemies you get at the start of the game are me

Tappy is the god of the land who constantly alters the environment (like how he updates the site) as you kill his moderators.

The moderators are mythical creatures who live in the world of Hnet, existing to maintain peace and natural order.

As you destroy them the world gets more dangerous and unstable. A result of the death of the peace keepers and Tappy's violent rage.

Upon killing the final moderator Tappy descends from the heavens to take you down once and for all. Upon his death the world unravels and you cease to exist. The player is informed that all along they were the evil. They were the *guest! Defier of law and reason! *guests can post but cannot be removed. They are the true evil that will destroy this land.

I prefer this story.

nah it's just be like

you leave the dungeon and WHOOPS everything's puppyed up

and maybe landslides trap you inside the dungeon and you have to escape down some secret passageway that reveals itself and it leads to some area you previously couldn't access on the map or somesuch silliness.

natural disasters could be the game's way of keeping you in line, closing off and opening up paths
