The trailer was showed in 2004, the game came out late 2006. thats almost 3 years. I always laugh at how in the end of the trailer is says "Coming Soon." That was where most of the time was spent; developing textures, characters and such. They re-used just about all of them. OOT took 7 years to make. MM took 2 or 3, and that was with less staff.
