f***ing Microsoft

Why does everyone hate Microsoft? The only bad thing I see about them is Vista. RROD? Compare that to:

STILL Gamecube graphics

Shovelware

NO hard drive

NO getting for fans what they want

CASUAL company

And

BARELY ANY DWC.

1 prob VS 7. You do the math.

Also:

Bioshock VS SMS

HALO series VS Wii Fit

GOW (which beat TP in some votes) VS SSBB.

COD3 VS No Goldeneye

FO3 VS NO SB64.

FU 360 VS FU Wii

Only good thing I can see is the Homebrew Channel.

Rare produced many N64 games, the entire DK series as well as goldeneye, perfect dark, banjo kazooie.

here is a list of games that rare produced & will probably never be on nintendo again:

* 1983 - Jetpac

* 1984 - Sabre Wolf

* 1985 - Entombed

* 1986 - Outlaws; Dragonskulle

* 1988 - R.C. Pro-Am; Jeopardy!

* 1989 - Marble Madness

* 1990 - The Amazing Spider-Man; Snake Rattle 'n' Roll

* 1991 - Battletoads

* 1994 - Super Battletoads; Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct

* 1995 - Donkey Kong Land

* 1996 - Killer Instinct Gold

* 1997 - Blast Corps; GoldenEye 007

* 1998 - Banjo-Kazooie

* 1999 - Jet Force Gemini; Donkey Kong 64

* 2000 - Perfect Dark

* 2001 - Conker's Bad Fur Day

* 2002 - Star Fox Adventures

* 2004 - It's Mr. Pants

* 2005 - Conker: Live & Reloaded

Except Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Land, Donkey Kong 64, and Star Fox Adventures. ;) Nintendo still owns those games.

They've improved over gamecube graphics, it's just 3rd parties which fail, you don't need to buy the shovelware either, eesh.

Also, how is halo the right thing to compare to wii fit? :S

and the "no getting the fans what they want" they're just one company, do you realise how long it takes to make games?

and a final point, why use COD3 as an example? It's completely rubbish compared to COD4...

P.S. I have no problems with vista

Whoops. COD4 is what I meant.

But a lot of third party magazines say that the shovelware could be a problem.

In fact, A lot (Most definatly NOT "some") of members here have an xbox or SOME OTHER third party console, even IF it is a retro one.

Ever heard the saying: "The grass is greener on the other side"? It applies here. There are good things on the other side. (No offense, but) you're just too stubborn to see them.

Only good Wii games I see:

SMG

TP wasn't that good, I agree. Enjoyable, but not great.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is good up to the point where you're challenged not to die. AT ALL. And if you do, there's no other missions to try. Up to THAT point.

The one thing the Force Unleashed was missing on the Wii was the cutscenes. If It had those, I'd have liked it more. I'd also haved liked it if it didn't differ so much from the 360 version.

COD4, BIOSHOCK, FO3, and Halo: Not on Wii. (Unless you hack it, but, c'mon)

Homebrew - Basically on every system.

What i'm saying is that BOTH consoles have good games. The latter (the wii) just doesn't have A LOT of good games in my opinion. Name every third - party game you like (Including PS3 and retro) (can't be a 1 - digit number, primarily because I need to find out about more games.) and then compare it to all the games you like on the Wii. You too, Bathykolpian.

I've got a 360 and a wii, was playing my wii last night...

It's all down to personnal opinion, but the wii really gives me some variation. Brawl, Metroid Prime, Trauma Centre, SSX (the way the wii does it), Mario Kart. On the xbox, most of it is either some form of racing or fps, which is good to a point, but I need something else every now and then. I think I enforce that point by all the games you mentioned being shooters.

Also, Star Fox was the last game rare released on a nintendo home console, the last two were released on the xbox.

Are they still allowed to have Star Fox in Smash Bros? The next one I mean, if there will be a next one...

Star Fox is a Nintendo IP, owned by Nintendo, Rare just made one game for them. Same goes for Donkey kong, just a few more games.

I see. No worries then.

I can't remember what old game by Rare it was that I liked ages ago though.

But none of those 7 will brick your system...

Plus the lack of quality game franchises on the 360.

No, none of them.

I've played Star Fox Adventures, but that isn't the game I played. I'm sure of that.

I'll look it up. I'll try anyway.

Edit:

No, after looking up lists in loads of different places, It must have been Star Fox. But I'm still sure it wasn't. I can't have been...

I'm going to continue my search though

The games DO NOT break the system. OMG STFU n00b.

Also,

The system breaks after 3 years. So y'know what? You get THE FLIPPIN' WARRANTY.

OMG SU n00b.

You said 1 prob vs 7. I was talking about the RROD you mentioned. Personally, I like stability in my game platforms.
