What LL is really trying to ask here is what is god's purpose for queefing

Nabe has his very own 'Wheel of Orifices' that he gives a spin every time he can't decide where he wants to put it in. We never know if the wheel is weighted, or if it is actually God's will, but it always seems to land on 'ear'.
Personally though, I do not condone this behavior. If I stumbled in my walk with Christ today, then Nabe has made a full on face plant. But give the man a break, you try walking more than five feet with a 12 inch kraken riding shotgun and not getting tangled up every once in a while.

    Roles:

    1. Cirt
  12. Brodongo added a post in a topic A Song of Ice and Werewolves (GoT)

Alright guys, as promised, here is the first of several game summary posts. I'll try to make three separate posts, one for game design, one for the actual results of the game, and then one where I just post everyone's roles. This was the first mafia game that I have ever hosted, so it was far from perfect and there are tons of things I wished I could have changed, mostly just in terms of simplifying things a bit more. Some mechanics worked well, others fell awkward or were sloppily executed, but at its core it was a traditional werewolf game, and that really shined through in the last day phase, which was the most exciting part of the game in my opinion.
    Family/Character Biases
This game had an overarching theme in mind, which was that house disputes and past biases threatened to interfere with the major goal of hunting scum. Most characters had some type of bias or secondary goal written into their role, which would put them at odds with at least one player, or a group of players.
    1. Tyrion Lannister (T1G) unlocked his second ability by publicly putting down Cersei Lannister. This was designed to make the two players subconsciously distrustful of one another,
    2. Varys (LL) and Petyr Baelish (Cirt) had a little game of cat and mouse going, where the first person to identify the other would win an upgrade, and the other person would be locked out of it. This had the potential to make them both reluctant to role claim, which could potentially make them look secretive and shady.
    3. Oberyn Martell (Knuckle) was told in his pm that he hated all Lannisters, and his lynch survivor ability grew stronger every time he publicly put down Tywin Lannister (Linox)
    4. Cersei (Necropolis) was told in pm that she trusted Jaime Lannister (although I obviously did not reveal that the real Jaime was an NPC), and she needed to visit Tywin Lannister (Linox) in order to gain her power role. This would make it more likely that Necropolis would form alliances with other Lannister players.
    5. Tywin Lannister (Linox) was the only Townie with a secondary win condition - He needed to keep at least one Lannister player alive until the end game. He also unlocked his secondary power by hammer voting a any non Lannister player. Obviously this would bias his vote, but also make him a bit more reluctant to try to kill fake Jaime Lannister (Teto), unless he truly believed that Teto was the imposter, since he would seem to be more valuable to Linox, should Teto be taken at his word.
The only townies without a written family bias were Jon Snow (Pheo) and Eddard Stark (Chase). Out of all the characters, they seemed like the most honorable, and most likely to keep their personal agendas in check for the good of the realm. The idea was that a successful town would decide to put all these alliances and distractions behind them in favor of the big picture - who was acting the shadiest, regardless of their family Name. As evidenced by Knuckle's hammer vote to seal the game, where he killed off his character's rival, this was much easier said than done.

    Private Chats
Originally, this was going to be a 13 player game, and there were going to be three private chat channels in this game. One Town-Town chat (Oberyn Martell & Tyrion Lannister), one Town-Independent (Varys & Petyr Baelish), and one Town-Wolf (Cersei Lannister & Fake Jaime). Then when I cut it down to 9 players I changed Baelish from an Independent to a wolf, and decided I didn't want two Town-Wolf chats, so I removed that one. For obvious reasons, I did not reveal alignments in private chat, but in the case of Knuckle and T1G, once they I entered the chat, I officially confirmed that their characters were "Total Bros" and that "sometimes trusting one another is worth the risk". It didn't seem to do much though, T1G seemed pretty suspicious of Knuckle the entire time.
As for Teto and Necropolis' private chat, It seemed that Necropolis rightfully did not trust Teto at all, and eventually Teto saw that Necropolis was not revealing much to him in private, so the next night he cut his losses and killed him.

    The Dungeon and Prisoners
Teto knew from the start that Jaime Lannister was an NPC locked in the dungeons, and that if somebody UNLOCKED the dungeons then he would escape. In this way, Jaime Lannister was a semi-safe character claim for Teto, provided he could prevent Jaime from escaping. T1G got his keys and immediately sent me the command,  "RELEASE PRISONERS, YOLO". On the surface, this was designed to look like it had harmed the town, since it permanently disabled the immunity votes. In reality, it was a huge help for the town, because the next pm I sent him dropped two very important names, Euron Greyjoy, and Jaime Lannister. It also meant that NPC Jaime had been released from prison, and would start randomly visiting one player each night.
From Linox's perspective, this was really helpful, since he was an ID Killer. Now he had the name that most likely belonged to a wolf. He also got notifications every time an NPC interacted with a player, and the name that always seemed to pop up when he pressed the player in question was Jaime Lannister.
This whole thing was a bit sloppy in design and Linox's role was ended up being more than a little weird. The NPC's really only existed:
    1. To make it harder to guess people's ID's, by putting more names into the pool of characters
    2. To give Linox an alibi each night, since he could send them to visit people
    3. For the whole Jaime Lannister ID puzzle.

Overall I probably would have cut this part out if I could do this game again.
    Townie Power Roles
In werewolf games, this forum has a tradition of giving every townie a power role. In my perspective, this makes playing as wolf really hard, since the town can just use process of elimination with night abilities to find wolves. Very little time is actually spent looking at people that act shady during the day. I wanted to nerf the town powers a bit, but I also didn't want some players to feel like they had nothing to discuss, so I tried to make a compromise - most of you guys had power roles, but they were locked at the start. Therefore, most power roles would not come into play until night 3 or 4. I also made some other additions, such as unblockable kills to nerf the power of the town protector, and split the seer role in half between Chase and LL. LL had the power to ID Teto as a Euron Greyjoy (who had the same last name as the werewolf mentioned in the prologue), while Chase had the power to ID Cirt, who had a much stronger identity claim, as wolf-aligned.

Other random things that I didn't like:
    1. The game was heavily scripted in some parts, which sometimes made the game a bit constricting in play style, especially for Teto. It also meant lots of writing from me, writing being something that I'm not particularly good at.
    2. Roles were a bit too complicated in parts. If I do a game in the future roles will probably take a much more 'keep it simple' approach

In general though, game seemed pretty balanced and sounds like everyone had fun so I'm glad to hear that.

Teto had so many close shaves that it was unbelievable. LL tried to id-seer him night 1, and if he hadn't been killed, then he would have seen Teto's true identity, Euron Greyjoy, AFTER he claimed to be a Lannister.

Day 2, he seemed like the most likely  lynch candidate but the town couldn't rally together any kind of vote.
Day 4, Linox basically had put the pieces together and had Teto cornered for lying about his character claim, but his admission of trying to kill T1G seemed to damage his credibility, which is why I assumed T1G passed on hammering Teto.
Night 4 was hilarious. Linox was not lying about being the id-killer, and he actually sent me the command:
    Kill teto, id=euron greyjoy.
Five minutes later he changed his mind, and sent jaime to visit Cirt, to make sure that jaime was truly an npc.
Then on Day 5, all three townies had voted for Teto at one point, but never in unison. Cirt and Teto finally blitzed the vote last night, presumably while Linox was sleeping, and secured their victory.

Win or Lose, thank you all for playing! Overall i thought there was a lot of player activity and discussion which seemed to make the game more engaging for everyone.

Special shout out to Pheo for entering the game as a sub one day phase late and heading a lot of the discussion, which made the game more enjoyable for both sides. Sorry it didn't work out better for you bro.

I plan on doing a little game summary write up and posting roles, either tonight or this weekend if I don't have time.

    END OF DAY 5

Teto had only devoted about half his attention to the council meetings. The other half of his attention had been comitted to whispering to his sister Cersei, jesting with Littlefinger, testing his wits with Tyrion, or casting his execution votes on whims. Throughout the proceedings, he always wore a lazy smirk, as if he felt that the entire proceedings were being held for his amusement.
But today was different. He seemed focused and driven, and had spent the entire meeting relentlessly pushing for the execution of his council rival, Linox. To Linox's dismay, the council was following suit.
“You cannot be serious.” Linox said in disbelief. “Me, try to assassinate the King, my own grandson? And you believe this, you fools? I was the one that called for this damn audience!”
“We all know that you murdered those council members, you damn Lannister!” Knuckle yelled from across the room.
The stare Linox returned Knuckle was icy enough to freeze one of the torch flames illuminating the chamber.
“You all seem to be under the impression that today's council decision would follow a democratic process,” Linox scoffed. “but I regret to inform you that I am still in charge of the entire royal guard, and as such, this is not the case.”
“Like hell!” boomed Knuckle. Before anyone could react, he launched himself at Linox. Linox froze in shock, not even trying to defend himself as the warrior sprinted towards him like a charging bull. "This is for my sister, Elia!" Knuckle yelled, and he buried his sword deep into Linox's chest. Satisfied with his work, he turned to face Teto, as Linox's lifeless body fell to the floor.
“You, Jaime Lannister! I love killing Lannisters. You die next,” he said, as he began to walk slowly towards Teto's seat.
Teto's smirk faded. He closed his eyes, and took a deep a breath, placing his head in his hands. As he did so, his shoulders began to shake and spasm. Knuckle looked at Teto in confusion. He suddenly realized that Teto was shaking with laughter. Teto lifted his head from his hands, wiping tears of mirth from his eyes. Composing himself, he met Knuckle with a vacant, delirious gaze.
“Knuckle, you foolish man, if you try to kill me, then you have to failed to realize the greatest advantage about being Jaime Lannister.”
Knuckle raised his eyebrows, and Teto continued. The pitch of his voice had raised in a way that made him sound slightly feverish.
“You see my lord, I can't be killed, because I am already dead.”
As he said the word dead, a hooded council member from across the room dropped to the ground. Teto smiled through a pair of pale blue lips. Pheo rushed over to aid the fallen stranger. Several other council members rose from their seats in confusion, but Teto continued to speak, his voice starting to rise.
“For what is dead, can never die,”
The torch flames flickered. At this, the council members noticed that the shadows from the light were beginning to dance across the walls of the circular chamber in a peculiar fashion. They looked roughly like human shadows, each one matching a council member, except that the limbs looked abnormally long, and thin as paper. Perhaps it was a trick from the light, but they seemed to moving, even though most council members sat frozen in their seats.
“But rises again, Harder, And STRONGER.”
Pheo crouched down and removed the hood of the fallen council member. The unmistakable face of Jaime Lannister fell out of the hood of the cloak, lifeless and grey. Pheo looked back at Teto in shock. Teto now sounded completely mad.
“For I am the first storm,”
The shadows began to grow larger and darker, growing so large that they threatened to envelop the entire wall of the room. The torches in the chamber began to extinguish in unison as the shadows eclipsed them, slowly swallowing each council member into darkness.
“The first storm, and the last.”
The last thing that could be seen in the hall was Teto's maniacle smile. His right eye had turned completely black, while his left had turned bright blue, shining like a beacon through the growing void of darkness. The flame of the last torch died, and the chamber went black.
All was silent for one, horrific moment, and then one could here the sound of a sword being drawn from its sheath. There was an audible swish, and a barrage of screams and panicked yells erupted from the silence.
“KILL HIM! KILL TETO!” a panicked voice screamed.
More screams. Footsteps. The squeak of boots on marble. A clang of steel on steel. A spark of light from the clash illuminated the room for a brief second, to show that the shadows were now swirling about the hall like frenzied demons.
“DO NOT LET HIM LEAVE THIS CHAMBER ALIVE! PROTECT YOUR KING!” another voice boomed.
“I AM THE KING'S PROTECTION! COME JOFFREY, YOUR KINGSGUARD HAS ARRIVED.”
In the chaos, strange cries began to sound from within the hall. They sounded like strangled moans of agony, coming from an abomination that was part human and part beast.
One shrill scream of pain knifed through the caucophony like the wail of a banshee. And then, as suddenly as it hard started, the nightmare ceased, and all was quiet.

    * * *

Panting, Pheo burst out of the room, and light washed over his face. To his relief, he turned to see his council ally, Cirt, waiting for him outside the door.
“Thank god Cirt, you made it out alive!” he gasped. “We have to head to the throne room immediately. If we hurry, we can save the King before Teto gets to him!”
Cirt gave Pheo a pitying smile. In his haste, he had failed to notice that she was holding a crossbow, which was now trained on him.
“You know nothing, Jon Snow,” she said mockingly, as she pulled the trigger and let the bolt fly. It dug itself deep into Pheo's chest, and he toppled to the floor.
Pheo looked up at Cirt, his eyes widened in disbelief. “Why?” Pheo managed to mouth with his dying breath.
Cirt bent down to lower herself down to Pheo's level.
“Why, you ask? I'll tell you why, you poor, sweet fool. You must always keep your foes confused. If they are never certain who you are or what you want, they cannot know what you are like to do next.” She pushed another bolt into her crossbow. “Now, if you will excuse me my lord, I have an urgent matter to attend with the King.”
Cirt opened the council chamber door. Teto, now the only man alive in the chamber, exited the room wearing a wolfish smile. Together, Petyr Baelish, the Redirector (Werewolf), and Euron Greyjoy, the Roleblocker (Werewolf), made their way towards the Iron Throne, just as they had planned many moons ago.

Congratulations Werewolves, you have seized the Iron Throne!
Better luck next time Town! When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die.
    GAME OVER!

Linox was Tywin Lannister (Town/Independent), NPC Influencer and Vigilante, lynched on day 5. He nearly killed Euron Greyjoy on Night 4, but changed his mind at the last second. The next day, he was unable to gain enough support to lead a lynch on Teto.
Knuckle was Oberyn Martell (Town), Lynch Survivor, and he was slain by Euron in the council chamber. He died doing what he loved, killing Lannisters.
Pheo was Jon Snow (Town), Town Protector, and he died at the hand of Cirt. He will be remembered for leading a successful lynch on the man that cared for and raised him as boy, Eddard Stark, and calling Tyrion Lannister a Queef Chief in court.
Brodongo was Khal Drogo (Independent), Game Manager, and he remains alive and well, commanding a khalasar of 40,000 riders. He plans on confronting Teto and Cirt once he teaches his horses how to cross the poison water. It is known.

A lynch has been reached. Linox, you have THREE HOURS to try to convince the town that they should remove those votes from you, before the vote locks.

Okay guys, day 5 has lasted about 72 hours from this point. I know i said there was no time limit but i think there needs to be some kind of limit just to keep this day from dragging on forever, however, there must be a lynch before the day ends.
I'll give you guys until end of day Thursday, 6pm ish Est, at which point a weighted random lynch will take place. Not voting will result in a 20% chance that a player will be lynched, +20% chance for each vote placed on you. So for example, if i have 2 votes on me and i have not voted, then there is a 60% chance that i will be lynched once the deadline is hit.
As always, i would prefer not leave a game like this to chance and i'll exercise my best judgement in deciding when and how the day ends.

I know this is the first week of school and Cirt is really busy. If she doesn't answer your questions by tonight I'll ask If she would be open to sharing the role with somebody else, at least until she gets some free time. I'm thinking LL because this game has seen far too little of him, and he died before he had a chance to learn anything from his role.
