    My gamepad charging cord was nibbled to death by a rabbit. I'm on amazon to buy a replacement, but I've been waiting for my dad to tell me what albums he wants me to order too. I've been waiting for three days, i guess he's just been busy. Me too. My point is im outta the game for a bit. But hopefully i'll be back soon!

     

    Moray Towers looks so sick unless you are facing 2 snipers lol. Rollers look like they'll have a hard time in general there. Krak-on Roller might be that exception though, with it's Kraken special. idk

     

    And are you actually kidding me, Cascade? We get Roller Coasters vs Waterslides? LAME. Your themes have been sensationally cooler so far im disappointed in Nintendo Tree House of America, but other wise they doing a fine ass job. I like our English translations better, from what I've seen. Like--

     

    • When a match is set - NA: "BATTLE TIME!" E/A: "Let battle commence!".
    • When the match ends: NA: "GAME" E/A: "Stop battling!". The Japanese version is different: "Finish"
    • Spyke has a Cockney accent in NA, while i think he doesn't have any specific speech "quirks" in E/A translation (correct me if i'm wrong, please) and Spyke's accent is so crisp and perfect omg.

     

    But the "signals" you can send to teammates on the game pad, while they sound cooler and more natural to the setting in NA, are a bit more obvious to understand in E/A.

    NA:  ("C'mon!" -> "To me!" and "Booyah!" -> "Nice!")

    This is a thread about Transgender sexuality. I thought it was appropriate considering the recent Marriage Equality in America stuff. It's nice but we still have a long way to go!

     

    I found this video, hosted by Janet Mock (a Transgender rights activist), to be so on point. It's about a recent celebrity sex scandal, but the commentary goes far beyond gossip news. Anyways, hope you guys learn something or at least open your mind to a new perspective. I wasn't necessarily against these ideas of transgender sexuality, but i also wasn't aware of it, or paid any mind to it. I think it's nice to learn about other people's lives, so I can be of better support.

    Im gonna be 100% straight with you guys--

     

    I love Nintendo because it was my distraction from life since ever. It's nostalgia hardcore. I don't think I like video games otherwise. It was also how my sister and I bonded when i was a child, and how i bond with her son, my nephew. Now, things have changed in my relationship with my sister (currently not on speaking terms) but i still cherish those memories. Nintendo inspired my creative side and encouraged my art exploration as a kid, and was a convenient reality exit when i needed it to be. Which was more often than I want to admit. If  think about my life in hard detail, I was most depressed during the Wii generation. As much as I love Nintendo, the Wii was shit lol. I had no outlet for my frustrations and so much was happening in my life in those years, i really could have used the distraction of some good Nintendo. Even though Wii U has awful sales and people actually ridicule me for playing it over ps4/xbox1 (people actually do this, and it's like, grow up? lol) i actually enjoy it as a console. the games are fun and the off tv play is actually perfect for my gaming style! I understand why people don't appreciate Nintendo, "triple A" games offer a lot of interesting features and stories. But i don't play video games for the story (i hate how other game companies use cut scenes tbh) i watch tv and movies and read comics for story. I just play Nintendo to FEEL GOOD. And Nintendo has done and currently is doing that for me! 

     

    This is why I love Nintendo games. I don't see this as a bad thing either. If i didn't associate Nintendo with various emotions and feelings, i probably just wouldnt play video games.

    Ill read this thread in a moment, but i literally JUX'D watched these and they are pretty relevant. The video about Zelda can easily be expanded to most of Nintendo's franchises.

    Yeah, and I see that now obviously, lol. But I meant I used to think there was a lot more.

    I think, in this perspective, what really made this series great in terms of lore and world building was it's wonder. So much was said but even more was left unsaid. Not everything needed to be told. Like, we don't need to know how Link's love hexagon or w/e worked out in OoT. It doesn't matter and probably would have detracted from the story and experience if too many details were included. Not to mention, the game is entirely from Link's perspective, and nearly every cut scene was Link learning something or participating in something. While i personally am not a fan of fanfiction (and all it encompasses) I really cant blame kids for taking the bait. It's when they grow up and use their actual artistic skills to maker fan art and fiction and musical remixes and such that i have a problem with. I mean, being inspired by and paying homage to is cool and natural, but i don't see the point in fanfiction for fanficiton's sake. With a few exceptions i suppose. Idk im rambling and being a bit judgmental now haha. Just some of my 2cents.

    Oh i guess that makes sense, how the re rolls work. I just figured it would erase them instead of replace them, so it'd encourage people to play more (grind) and tbh this is one of the very very very few games where i like to grind. I guess that says it all for the game play imo haha.

    So I've upgraded the slots in a few pieces of fashion, now I'm just wondering how refilling works in this game. Does it erase all 3 extra abilities and make you unlock potentially new ones again? Afraid to try on my own first lol

    I still play it, but not as regularly as before. I'll probably be playing tomorrow though, for sure! But yeah everytime I get on, my friends either aren't playing or are playing ranked (my friends is mostly you guys for this game) sooooooooooooooooo....... I think ill play some now! Need to collect my sea snail stuff.

    I guess i wish the Zelda comic took place in it's own world, with its own continuing storyline. The comics stray too far from the games they are based on, which makes sense cause, giving the author some freedom, but ultimately doesn't reflect the specific game at all. I'd write an on going story of one, non-canon Link. And as new games came out, i would base story elements, characters, and themes from the new game. That's my 2 cents, i suppose

    Shit ain't cute when the player named "dad" shows up and it's literally a old guy who doesn't know how to move and shoot at the same time lmao. This dad was covering the entire tree in the underpass base. puppy! Moms are cool though, they need to take out their aggression and video games tend to be a good outlet. More often than not, a mom will beat a dad and remind them whose boss.
