A few years back, The tennis player Lleyton Hewitt got scrutinized by the media and made to look like a satanist or something, simply for calling the umpire a "spastic" for calling a ball in, when Lleyton thought it was out, in the end, it doesnt matter who was right, but there was a massive number of people (particularly the handicapped, or those with handicapped friends) offended by his comment. Yes, it was offensive, but at the same time, not really. He could have said alot worse things, and if I were to go up to a cop and call him a spastic, I could probably get away with a slap on the wrist.
As for the Michael Richards thing, both him and the black people reacted badly to each other, and i think both are to blame for what occured, I dont think an apology is neccessary from anyone. In hindsight, he probably could have called security to ask them to be quiet or get them to leave the premesis (most concerts reserve the right to kick out patrons if they're disturbing the show), but I understand that you wouldnt think of something like that in the heat of the moment. News shows, when they have a chance to, tend to make people look bad. Bad news is better than no news.

I'm just used to my friends making fun of me. They say I'm stupid, but the only reason they do is because they haven't seen how smart I am. I act stupid in front of them because I don't want to be a show-off and say, "Oh you guys are so stupid! I'm way smarter than you!"How noble of you to think that.
But (any) acting infront of your friends is plain stupid, if you cant be your (true) self with your friends, who can you be yourself with? You can be intelligent and not be a show-off.

pawn shops tend to give you very little money back when you sell items, most of their customers (who sell things) are desperate for cash anyway, so they can under-price things, i think you may get a better deal of ebay (if you sell the console + controllers + games in one large pack you could get a decent amount), though i dont know which one would be better. you could always ask the people in the pawn shop how much they think you would get for your item. but i think in the end, you'd be better off not selling the items at all - you will probably not get what they're worth anywhere.

hmm..me too...but I have yet to read The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe..I need to get started on it..I once picked up the book..but set it back down after one or two pages...don't ask..I was distracted with something else....hmm..C.S.Lewis..that sounds soooooooo familiar. I jst can't place my tongue where I've heard tht name before..?

I used to like CSI, not anymore.
I liked the original CSI in the first two series, however, the producers and script writers recieved several warnings / threats from the American Police Department, because the show actually taught people how to get away with murder. After the second season, they were given the option to change how they make the show or have it cancelled, and they decided to change how they made the show, to now only include far-fetched forenscic methods for catching the bad-guy in the end.
I also dont like the fact that they brought out CSI:Miami and CSI:NY. too me that just looks like they're trying to milk this show for all its worth. Its overkill IMO.

labyrinth! also an amazing movie for its time, not an all time favourite of mine, but i still consider it great.
it loses points for having david bowie in skin tight pants. thats just not cool. no matter how magical it seems.

thats not so bad to get into trouble for that, you probably only got a warning anyway? - i've gotten into trouble with security guards and then kicked out of a shopping centre for running inside. which i think is somewhat similar to a school hall - often crowded, narrow walk-ways etc
your teachers / principal is only trying to stop an accident happening, after all im pretty sure at school you'd have a field you can run in, when you feel you have energy to spend.

I think it is better in the end to have a brother or sister, it is important to learn to share etc. at a young age, and it reduces (but not always eliminates) the chances of a child being spoiled by the parents - which never turns out well when the child hits the real world usually around the age of 15-18. Although, in some cases, even later. It also teaches you that you're not always going to be the centre of peoples attention, which means alot when you're a child.
I have an older brother, and we fought nearly every day when we were younger and now we havnt fought in years, and we share alot, and its good to have some one to help you out in times of need.

Cremia was delivering milk to Anju but on the way there the big bad wolf stole the milk for his choclate chip cookies. So then Cremia started to freak out and drove her cart back to Lon Lon Ranch, and then Malon said nothing but continuing to do her chores with a crestfallen expression. Because Malon ignored Cremia, Cremia got pissed off and told her to go to Hyrule Market, but Malon instead went to the game store where she spent all the ranchs' profits for that week. After her trip to the game store she decided to go home to try out her new Wii. So while she was driving the cart back home, unknown to her, the Five Bomber's Brother stop her midway because she didnt want to talk to them, she took a shortcut and went to the Sewer, where she was attacked by Shadow Link, who that if she wants to live she better give him the wii and all her games for it. Malon was stubborn and didnt want to hand over the Wii easily, so she whipped out an Ocarina and called for Devvo, he was buzzin like a bee. Annoyed, Shadow Link smacked Devvo aside, rendering his unconscious, and resume his bullying of Malon to giving up her Wii, but luckily while she ran, she saw a way out, and out of no where, she was lost - in the LOST WOODS! Panicking, remebering that Cremia heard from Anju that if anyone goes into Lost Wood they would be...Eaten by a Like-like. Malon got confused, becasue she thought they only ate shields, but then Shadow Link came up, murdered her, and then shadow Link got eaten by a like-like. Creamia who heard the horrible news from Tingle, decided to avenge for Malon, she then went to seek the Master Sword. But she didn't know where to look for it so she asked Link to go and defeat shadow Link and Link said: "He's still alive?!!!! I Thought i Pwned his A**!! So Link went and killed shadow Link.
Link wiped the sweat from his brow and turned to Creamia. Creamia although grateful, sulkingly walked back to Lon Lon Ranch, while on the other hand Link notice that a round-ish looking rock was---covered in drool. He saw it came from a nearby Octorok, so he finished it with an arrow, and he got it between the eyes. Then he heard a scream, that came from... A COW! from Lon Lon Ranch, Link ran as quick as he could towards the ranch...

I may be getting one, still undecided, but if i do get one, i will be getting it around february, so i have a while to wait, but im not in a huuuuuuuge hurry to get one - the only thing i would use it for would be twilight princess probably.

I would like to see it, the trailer makes it look really good - but thats the trailers job - , so it could be an actual good movie or just a decent movie with a few good bits that they pack into the trailer.

Well its not really stealing, because you will get it back. But it does inconvienience you because now you cant get a Wii. Make sure you tell your mum that you really need the money back asap so you can get your Wii asap and that she shouldnt take money without first asking for permission.
In future keep your money in the bank, only accessible by you?
