  1. I feel like I see things on reddit before they get around to tumblr

    it really depends though

  2. It was super great guys

also very unexpectedly dark in the middle there for a kids' movie, but holy shit, most beautiful movie I've seen in a while

  3. well come back and talk about it when you start :>

what do you think love is?

if no one posts in here then im just gonna fill it with Orange/Black gifs

This was my second favorite moment of the whole season 2 omg

I wrote a very personal letter to a friend of mine the other day. And I was explaining happiness and how satisfying it is to be with someone you care about. "You also have a pizza" was the subject heading for the letter <3

    favorite moment was easily

Nicki hanging out with the chill CO (can't remember his name) figuring out the battery lighter and he makes her count the batteries again and she acts stupid, idk man, it made me laugh like an idiot

  4. I puppying love this show

Season 2 had so much lesbian tho. nothing wrong with that, I'm just saying they really amped it up

  5. I thought season 4 finale was good, but definitely not the best episode of the season

Brienne vs. the Hound was some like noncanon matchup I didn't even know I wanted

Arya's sequence was pretty cool, though damn she got really cold at the end there

I was genuinely surprised when Stannis showed up

thank god Tywin is dead, and even Shae to an extent

Jojen dying was fine, he was pretty useless except for telling Bran what to do all the time

motherpuppying draugr coming up from the ground tho wtf

dany locking up her babies was sad

it'll be a good place to start season 5, but puppy it's another year so I'm gonna read

    I'm also still numb from oberyn's death, I had a dream about pedro pascal the other night ;~;

  6. Haven't finished Metroid Prime yet. I'm in this long, tedious process of collecting the Chozo Artifacts. Which is more backtracking. And more circling around.

So I took a break from it, since I got worn out, lol. Also physically, I've been really busy with school and haven't had much energy to devote to sitting down and beating it.

  7. Is your hair naturally that colour? I swear it was lighter in earlier photos.

yeah it is normally lighter, I've been using wash-out dye for a couple months because it's been something different

    contrasts my eyes n shit

  8. I think I was on the verge of being very upset for about half an hour afterwards. I was just like, "WHY? HE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL ;_________;"

because that scene was puppying gnarly, like hoooooooly shit that was almost as bad as the red wedding, if not worse. The red wedding was horrible because it came out of left puppying field and suddenly, bloodbath. You knew someone was going down for the Mountain vs the Viper, but you didn't know who, or how. So to have Oberyn's scene all built up, with this shimmering chance of redemption and victory, to be SNATCHED AWAY IN THE MOST GRUESOME, SHOCKING MANNER....jfc ugh

I want to hate GRRM, puppy. I was so upset. I can't move past the notion that the good guys don't always win in GoT.

I read this on  /r/gameofthrones, though, and it made me feel better:

People always bitch about GRRM killing off their favorite characters in GoT. I think that the traits that make them our favorite characters are also the cause of their deaths. For example, Oberyn's flair and sense of drama that made us fell in love with him also led to his death. Ned's honor killed him, as did Robb's. Robert died for his pride, as did Drogo. The characters that survive this harsh world do so because they don't have dominant traits that lead to avoidable deaths. Sansa's lack of strong convictions allowed her to survive King's Landing. Arya's willingness to do what it takes has kept her alive. The things we love about Tyrion (his outspoken swagger) are catching up with him.

This isn't a comprehensive theory, but rather a theme present throughout the series: what doesn't bend, breaks. We love the characters who don't roll with the punches, the characters who stand up to a cruel and unfair world. It's also for these reasons that they meet untimely and often gruesome fates.

And it kind of brings me some comfort, to be honest. We all strive to be hero, or we all admire the hero for their strong convictions. But this is saying that it’s okay that we don’t have those, because this world is too crazy for us to live always going against the river’s flow. No, we won’t be remembered as the stand out people from the past. The truly remarkable people from history...yes, they might have taken a stand and held strong at some point, but not the entire time. It’s all about finding the right opportunity to be remarkable, not always living it. But that doesn’t make a very good story, so, GoT gives us characters we adore, only to snatch it away to show the reality of it all.

  9. So half an hour ago or so I got to my school's bus stop, because the bus I take to walmart for groceries arrives and leaves every hour on the hour. Once I got there, I could see my bus was at a stop sign on the other side of the bus turnaround juuuuuust getting ready to pull out. So I booked it down the sidewalk and caught up to it while it was still at the stop sign, and the driver saw me, but she waved me away like "oh puppy off you're late."

So I chased the bus for a little ways until it comes to a stop for a moment at a busy intersection, and she still doesn't open the door for me, even though I've got my student bus card in hand. So I keep chasing her along the road, and she stops at two different speed bumps in the middle of campus where she could have stopped for me easily, but she didn't. So rather than keep chasing her, I just gave her the finger as she drove off.

I started walking back to my house about ten minutes away when this guy called to me "Did that driver see you?" I told him, "Yeah, she saw me and still didn't stop! She even waved me away, can you believe that?" He asked me what number bus it was and where it was going, and I told him. He says "My name is Eric Weldy and I'm the Vice President of Student Affairs here. I'm going to look into this, because I saw everything that just happened and that woman should have stopped for you." So I think I just got that driver fired. Which kind of sucks though, because I still haven't been able to go to walmart to get food for the week.

idk wtf this video is but it made me think of this scene

  10. some great films I watched in my latinamerican film class in argentina:

City of God - based in the slums of Rio, so it'll all in portuguese but it's puppying intense

Nueve Reinas - pretty great heist film

Fresa y Chocolate - a dude and his gay friend in Cuba when communism was getting big

Amores Perros - by the same dude who directed Babel if you've ever seen it, kind of similar storytelling

La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful) - I didn't watch this in class, but it's a beautiful Italian film, very feel-good until the end (WWII etc)

  12. Started Metroid Prime 2. I haven't played more than 20 or 30 minutes but I'm digging it so far. I like how the wii-mote control scheme defaulted to the fire button being the trigger, or maybe the trilogy has a feature that carries over my preferences between games. Also I dig the greater emphasis on classic sci-fi style horror so far and the obvious influence of Half-Life, which are some of my favorite games.

Don't you dare spoil anything for meeeee

  13. I played so much Prime yesterday, y'all. Like eight hours. I'm only a little ashamed.

I definitely got used to the controls, though as I'm getting more upgrades and snazzy things, I'm still getting confused as to which trigger to hold down/which button to push to switch out visors/beams and all that stuff. Probably just more practice, and I was probably just getting tired from playing so long (I seriously don't think I left the couch to do anything but pee) but it's getting better. I also feel like the overworld is HUGE and the general little guide from one place to another makes the game seem endless. I have no idea how close I am to the end lol. It's a neat feeling. And then I think about the fact that I also have Echos and Corruption to play, and lol. So much Metroid.
