A new video was posted today (I have no idea where else to put this so here it goes for now) showing off some of the early development world-traversing and horse-riding gameplay.

Aethix liked a post in a topic by LLmao ?✊? in Local rioting and police brutality
Just saying: this is not necessary information. It's a very obvious bias trying to put a criminal in a positive light. I'm just saying. Also "we all know the policeman wouldn't face the consequences" is dripping with bias. It's sopping wet. I guess it's not your job to like, report the news, though.
It sucks that the riots happened, though. It begs for "police brutality", though. The idea is to take advantage of chaos and anger and loot shit and burn shit? Like, I hope they all get rifle butts to the teeth. It doesn't matter what the trigger is for rioting. Is there ever a justifiable riot? The people who stole the phones from the cell phone store- were they just acting irrationally out of grief? I can't fathom how anyone can justify rioting. If you are going to act like an animal, or less than an animal, then you should be treated like one. When people are looking for ANY excuse to rob and loot stuff and incite riots and chaos, can you blame the cop for killing on of them?
And yeah, cops are trained to destroy people with guns. It's not a video game where you take out someone's leg and then strategically plan your next attack. People who always try to give advice on non-lethal shots have never fired a weapon. They've also probably never been in a life-threatening situation. Not saying that this one was life threatening but whatevr
I hope I don't sound rude in this. :0

Macs are widely used in art practices because art guys are art guys.
I bought a Mac Pro, the tower, not the laptop or the all-in-one monitor. It was fine, except it was like $2400 or so. I actually returned it a few days later and even paid a $400 restocking fee. Then I ordered a PC to be made for $900. And it's God. And still is God. Four times better than the "best" Apple product available.

Not only is it posted on the internet, it's typed on a piece of paper. Therefor it's most likely real.

It's worth pointing out that in DIsgaea, grinding requires strategy; you can't just run out and mindlessly kill things for exp. You need to exploit the fact that you can throw enemies into each other to raise their level and use geo effects to your advantage.
For example, in the first DIsgaea, there's a map that's full of invincibility panels except for one spot, so you can throw enemies together to create a super high level enemy that gives you tons of experience, but can't kill you.

Alright, now that I'm on vacation I've finally had the chance to read through Cucumber Quest . Now I don't have to worry about Pheo hunting me down and murdering me in my sleep.
And speaking of aggressive recommendation of comics, I don't believe I've seen Lackadaisy mentioned here anywhere. It's a really well-drawn comic about Prohibition-era St. Louis. With cats.

Snap Judgements (Unlearning Your Inherent Intolerance)
Somehow, I came across this site while procrastinating. It's a totally "hip" site about tolerance and stuff and aimed at "Millennials". You can proceed to the site (you shouldn't), or you can take these quick tests. You are asked a question such as "who is the mathematician?" and then given picture of two people. In the case of the mathematician question, you are shown a white woman and an Oriental. Fortunately, my heart isn't full of hate and intolerance so I picked the white woman as the mathematician. Why? Because I just knew. The test then showed that I was correct. You guys should see how many of them you can take until your sickening bias and hatred totally cloud your judgment.
cheat codes: if it asks you to pick the person who is mayor, a Harvard graduate, or some other generic "successful" role, bet on black. Or the woman. Or the younger of the two. Repeat until you are a good person.
Personally, I am glad to see MTV making great strides for equality and tolerance with scattered, cherry-picked, anecdotal examples of people who aren't true to stereotypes that MTV itself is fully acknowledging and accidentally reinforcing. To try to implement any kind of difficulty level to these tests is acknowledging and giving power to the stereotypes that it's half-assedly trying to break.
I like to compare the site to someone who says stuff like "I don't think black people are illiterate, uneducated criminals AT ALL!!"

How the hell do you figure that isn't something substantial to add to the thread? It's frickin' awesome is what it is.

I can say with like 99.9% certainty that the rumors are true. There was a dungeon that contained a floor in which literally every enemy was a King Metal Slime. From what I've heard, it actually made its way to the US and got shared in conventions.
Anyways, I think they actually made this a little better with Streetpass. It still requires two people to be in proximity with their 3DSes turned on, but it doesn't require a particular game to be in Tag Mode.

So I've been on a Kotoura-san kick after getting around to reading the manga volumes that I bought a few months ago and apparently forgot about.
Said kick caused me to browse random videos on Youtube when I could have been doing more productive things.
Said random browsing led to me discovering this glorious masterpiece of a video. (Which contains spoilers for ep. 12 of the anime.)
