I believe spiders are mankind's greatest enemy.

So I went to this school fair thing where they had free food for everyone, and there was a push ups competition to see how many pushups someone could do in a minute, and I entered.

Awwwww dang.

What makes this particularly painful is that when I was going for my eagle rank in boyscouts, I actually managed to do 72 pushups in a minute. So this is just painful. Not because some guy beat me, but because I totally could have beaten him if I didn't let myself fall out of shape this summer.

But then I went to my friends' house and was like "Gosh I'm out of shape" and he was like "Yeah Ben, I used to be able to make your mom come in ten seconds but now it takes me thirty five, so I dunno, I'm feeling pretty down about that." I think he has a point.

Also: all the casual students were competing with the ROTC guys. The ROTC guys doing pushups had to wear 30 lb. bullet proof armor while they did pushups, and we got t shirts if we beat them. I beat him yeah and I got a shirt, but I only beat him by like seven, and apparently he could do like eighty five in a minute without the bullet proof vest on.

It was just implied to me that you failed at being impatient if you said you "tried". It was a misunderstanding. The way you changed his name at the time just seemed to me that you were raging at him, but I guess now that's just you being passively aggressive or something rather than angry.

I just felt like he wouldn't have been laughing irl as much if you hadn't renamed him like that. If you'd put it back I feel like he would have been less amused. He might have thought he was just joking around, but he really was just trying to get under your skin, like trolls tend to, and the renaming proved that he achieved that. I don't like what he was doing, and I didn't find him funny. Again, not arguing for his sake. I would have had a problem if it was anyone. Unfunny and immature choice of punishment, though I admit punishment was due. You gave him something else to laugh about, and that's what I didn't like.

His goal was to get under your skin. When you changed his name, to him, it proved that he did manage that. You did in fact bend over for the trolls. You gave them the reaction they wanted. Though I guess now maybe you didn't react the way he wanted in reality, but by the way you acted on the forum, he thought you did.

I feel like I didn't make my point well enough yesterday, so there it is. I hope you get what I'm trying to say now. It's just a little criticism, not really a huge deal. It's just frustrating that you think I'm trying to get him unbanned or something. I might be his friend, but I agree with the reason for what you did, and I don't agree with him.

Have I repeated that last point enough yet. The last point is all I really care about anymore, since I don't think there's any way you'll see it my way, and I'm not that insistent on making you change. I just want to put forward my own view for the sake of debate. Opinions should be shared, but I wont force mine on you.

I don't disagree with you for punishing him, but I just don't agree with your moderating style. If it was me I would have simply locked and deleted his threads, changed his name back, and then banned him for a day or so. Yeah man, I getchu. Sometimes you just come across a level in a video game you fall in love with. A lot of Super Mario Sunshine's levels were like that, for me. Like the harbor, or the big tree the piantas all lived in. Man I loved those levels. That game is under appreciated.

If there was anything in any zelda game I particularly remember, it would be the first time you go to the forsaken fortress. That stuff was hard, man. I kept getting lost and wandering through the level, and I ended up getting the peace of heart you can just come back for later when you're all armed and dangerous. It was too easy to get lost. Intense stuff. Finally getting through it, and then winding up at Dragon Roost island was a big deal for me.
