Posted 11 Apr 2009 Wasn't it said that the next Zelda game would not be like any of the previous games? That's probably why it looks so unappealing. Think about it, most video game companies that make more than one game of the same type (Resident Evil, Halo, Spyro, etc.) change it according to "what the customer wants." If their games sucked the first time and they still want to make another one, there's no doubt that they're going to change it for the better so people will buy it and like what they bought. Similarly, if the game was frikkin' awesome the first time, they're probably going to make the game close to the first one, so then they'll have 2 awesome games. So think about it. When they were making TP, they said it was going to be different, but it was basically the same style as previous games like OoT and MM. But like a newer version, or makeover of the old. More modern. So they had a frikkin' awesome game to start with, and they made another frikkin' awesome game to with the older ones. If they say that "the game would not be like any of the previous games," what option is left but to suck or be rediculously different? If nintendo is having so much success with keeping older games alive, like Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon, changing things to be completely different would be too risky. They've been fine keeping games basically the same for years. Either the new game isn't going to be so different from the older ones, or it is and it's going to be horrible.
