Saha: Also, in the second playthrough (where the old hylian is translated) the Deku Tree and maybe Jabun thinks that WW Link is the HoT. If memory serves, they just think, so that's not proof, but I'm pretty sure Nintendo put it there to imply it.

Also, the Great Deku Tree literally thinks WW Link is the Hero of Time, ie, Link in his body from OoT.

The Great Deku Tree says he isn't when he finds that WW Link can't understand ancient Hylian.

But I don't think the Deku Tree knows about Link reincarnation consistency. This concept probably also escapes the KoRL.
