Everyone gathers in front of the castle doors once again. There is a dead body this time. Poor Nabeshin. He is found lying prostrate with a round hole driven squarely in his back. What's this? Oh gross! All of his fingers have been cut off! [GM's note: the finger thing was not my idea] They appear to have once been arranged to spell out a message, but wind and scavengers have scattered them and garbled whatever used to be spelled out beyond all possible recognition.

On a lighter note, Teto has apparently come back to life.
