Posted 10 Mar 2010 I never took confirmation class, but I am in the christian religion. If you don't believe in god, and you're in a christian family, it's better to tell them that you don't want to go through confirmation but wait until you move out to really assert your beliefs. It's a very sad thing to hear that your child is an atheist, but wouldn't it make more sense to support and love him more, thus showing more of God's love?
