Posted 22 Aug 2012 So the more i learn about the new Adventure Time game for 3DS, the more I get excited about it! There is even a collector's edition that I must have. The game is an action RPG with heavy Zelda 2 inspiration. While I think Zelda 2 failed as a Zelda game, the basic game itself seems really appealing to me. Reminds me of the Tales RPG series, really. Posted 22 Aug 2012 Zelda 2 may have failed as a game, but in many ways it was ahead of its' time. It was one of those action rpg's. Apparently there weren't a lot of those around when it came out, and it was supposed to be a really good idea for the time that was just poorly executed? Posted 22 Aug 2012 I'm sure it was a large part of the choice to make the 3DS, based on how popular the game and watch was. I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of what landed Mr Game and Watch on Melee, the fact that they did that and released the DS only so many years later, and having the SP have that fold out function, et cetera. I'm running my mouth, but I can't help but wonder what Nintendo must have in store by havinging R.O.B. as a character in as many games that were coming out around brawl came out, like how he was a racer in Mariokart DS.
