Posted 12 Mar 2012 I use the machina, too. It's P. OP for a sniper rifle, although I can't really shoot anyone that gets too close. Usually the only times I'm a sniper are times when I can run up to someone and slash at them. Sniper loadout is Machina, Razorback, and Shahanasha or however it's spelled. Posted 12 Mar 2012 I've never understood the appeal of the huntsman. What's so great about it? It's arrows are so slow and if you hold it for longer than five seconds then everything's inaccurate. Also, I was just looking through the earlier posts in this thread and I found this gem: It's like this thread is filled with 10 year olds. While my glorious Shin Megami Tensei thread is filled with intellectuals. This is justice. I've won, Pheonix.
Posted 12 Mar 2012 Because you aren't scoped in when you're using the Huntsman, you can keep a better eye out for spies and the like as well as stay aware of what's going on around you Sniper's my least played class :< I like that there are very good reasons not to try no-scoping in TF61. Because you won't find a sniper ever trying that in real life. And let's face it, this game is all about being as realistic as possible.

Posted 22 Mar 2012 Ctf Doublecross. Rarely are any good servers ever playing that map, so It had been a while since I ever picked it up. The last time I played it was a time when I hadn't learned to use sticky jumping effectively yet. It was a time when I'd rather play pyro on that map, because my trusty demoman skills just didn't fit the bill of all the open area. But good lord did I learn to put those jumps to good use. Friendly engie sets up in enemy sewers, I tele and jump out of the shed out back, grab the intel, run back into enemy sewers for friendly engie who is waiting, recover at his dispenser, run back through the sewers, and sticky jump onto my friendly balcony. Cap, run back to the tele, and repeat. I suddenly am in love with this map. SilverAlchemic likes this
