    I grew up in the simpsons generation - I was five when they aired the first episode - and still like the show now.

    actually, I have plans to watch the 400th episode this sunday. even if you don't like the show, you have to admit that 400 episodes/18 seasons is a HUGE accomplishment.

    also looking forward to the movie, if that ever happens

    reminds me of the time I died on level 88 in the thousand year door pit of trials. then I got frustrated, almost cried, and gave up for the time being.

    it would've been handy to know about the item on level 50 BEFORE I started...

    no. they said the movie was supposed to be making fun of the stereotypes people hold about other cultures, but I think people take things too literally for that to be appropriate.

    there's enough hatred in the world without foolishly giving cause for more

    um.

    that's probably not going to stop me from trying out the game. all you've really done is give a couple random facts - facts that aren't mutually exclusive to a game being good - and tell me it sucks, not why you think it does.

    episode three. that could be because I always kind of want the bad guy to win in movies and I liked to see anakin in the last stages of turning evil...and man, they sure don't spare anyone towards the end of that movie. it's the most emotionally powerful of the star wars movies, for me at least

    episode six is pretty close to my top pick, though.

    hey, a game can have fantastic graphics and still suck. that's why I don't get what runs through the heads of people who think that graphics make a game...

    I think it TP had been more difficult it would hands down beat OOT in my book, but...it just wasn't challenging enough.

    the shadow queen took me a couple tries, but then most RPG bosses do.

    I always go charging in and neglect my healing.

    I think I found bobbery to be the most useful partner for that boss, as he can use the attack (I don't remember what it's called! costs 9FP though...) that blows everybody up.

    I don't know, the whole political system in the US just seems like a corrupt disaster to me. that could be said for politics near-anywhere, but I think the US is just about as corrupt as you can get and still call it a democracy.

    who DO you vote for when your choices are republican/democrat? ugh that's a nasty choice to make

    wow. that's bad.

    'this hour has 22 minutes' is a tv show here that used to do a segment called 'talking to americans' where they'd get americans to say ridiculous things about canada (ie, global warming has to be stopped before it melts the igloo that's our parliamentary building)

    it's a good thing not all americans are as stupid as the stereotype!

    does she have an idea of the consequences of drug use?

    it's not just addiction and expense, though addiction alone should be reason enough to stay far away from drugs. at work I see people who've been doing drugs and end up psychotic on a psych ward. or they permanently lose who they are.

    I hope she's not doing meth. that stuff messes you up for the rest of your life.

    there's not a lot you can do, though. it's her choice.

    oh I'm sure it'll be good, but then innovation usually doesn't offend me. if it was just a rehash of the last paper mario games it wouldn't be very interesting or exciting to play.

    ugh, I grew up on a farm and we had dialup...it's terrible. not only slow, but ties up the phone line

    I have highspeed now :D

    it just sucks going back to dialup whenever I go home!

    life goes on, things change and get better - even when everything seems so crappy it's just too overwhelming to deal with.

    so keep on trucking

    this quarter's grades might not be salvageable, but if you focus more and apply yourself at school you're totally capable of learning the stuff and doing better in the next quarter. priorities and scheduling - you don't have to cut games and the computer entirely out of your life, just deal with the schoolwork first.

    never played it myself, but I've watched it played. actually, by my cousin who only has one hand (his left arm ends just past the elbow). oddly enough, he's the best gamer I've ever seen despite this...

    it looks like a fun game, though, and yes the music is pretty good

    plus that mini guitar is just the coolest thing ever!

    I'd been checking the site for various zelda stuff, news, screensavers, etc for years and I think I was part of the old forum (before everything went kapooie) though never posted. then I joined the forums when I was bored and seeking a new message board to feed my addiction.
