  1. I'm sure most of you know that in OoT, Navi is a "blue" fairy. That is, the colour around her "circle" of light is blue. But have you ever taken a look at the other Korkiri's fairies, and their colors?

Now, if I remember correctly, one day I was bored enough to look at every fairy in the Korkiri forest. Most Korkiris had either "yellow" or "green" fairies, a few had orange. What could be the reasoning behind this? Do colours distinguish the gender between fairies? Or their function? For example, healing fairies are pink.

Even more so, in Majora's Mask, Nintendo made the fairy colours even more apparent; the obvious example being Tael, who is unlike any fairy we've ever seen. His inverted "light" did not seem to have any effect or foreshadowing of his childlike, innocent behavior.

So what do you guys think? So the fairy colours have any significance, or are they just random bits of decoration?

  2. That's impressive. ^_^

    And your father sounds frightening.

Heh, he's really not. Poor guy had a heart attack last Sunday...but that's beside the point. ><'

  3. "Yeah, and his is SkullKid. Don't touch."

    xD Favorite part.

And damn that homophobic woman! They're justt kiiiids.. ._.

And Navi! Meh. She was useless anyways, even in OoT. xD

    Anywho. Yaaay Vi~ ^^

  4. Yeah, it's just the light Kimmy. My own eyes are some weird greenish-blue, and sometimes they "change" depending on what I'm wearing. For instance, if I'm wearing purple they tend to look greener. Also, they're bluer from far away. xD

  5. So here's the story...

Back around last summer, I had Majora's Mask for my N64 and was in the process of completing it. I'd been playing the game almost nonstop, to the point where it was starting to annoy my parents. One summer evening while I was in my basement playing the game, I hear my dad call me up to go run an errand with my mom. So, being the teenager I am, I yelled back some incoherent "Hold awwwwwn" response, planning to pause the game in a moment and go upstairs. But suddenly I hear my dad bellow out in this scary make-you-piss-in-your-pants to get my rear end up there - (He has quite the temper, by the way >>) So I hightailed it up there and left with my mom for some while.

When I came back, my brother told me that my dad had ripped our N64 from the TV and smashed it up with a hammer. Because of his temper, he sometimes ends up destroying things. Disbelieving, I ran back down to the basement and found my beloved N64 and MM game in the trash, all in its gloried plastic pieces. I managed to pull out the MM game chip and the Expansion pack from the pieces, but everything else was too far gone to be repaired. I'd lost over 20 hours of playing in a single moment.

Eventually, my dad replaced the N64 and the game, feeling guilty about losing his temper so badly. But just out of curiosity, I recently stuck in the old game chip in some crazy half-hope that maybe, maybe the game was still there. The chip only had some minor damages, so I though it was worth a try...

That, my friends, it what it looks like.

And to my complete delight, IT WORKED. IT FREAKING WORKED. My entire file, up until the point where I had last saved it, was still there. 8D

  7. ^ is a lionxtiger.. >>

= doesn't get on the forums much.

V prefers using a pen rather than a pencil.

  8. Definitely, definitely, definitely. I mean, my version of a remake would just be to clean up the graphics a bit, toucch 'em up, you know. OoT is already pretty good (for N64), but just imagine it on Wii. SO. AWESOME.

  9. Hai, I'm new ^^ To the forums, anyways. I've been hanging around Hyrule.net for about two months now , and for some reason I never quite got myself around to posting on the forums that much. I'm actually more of a chat person, you'll find me on the LiveChat often. Usually >>

Anyways, I'm Cirt 8D I've been playing the Zelda games for some years now, and I'd still say that my favorite is Majora's Mask, although I never got to finish it because my cartridge got..erm..destroyed. o.O Long story. I've also beaten OoT and Oracle of Ages. I tried LttP but lost my patience. xD

So hai! I'm pleased to meet you all~
