This may interest some of you *coughtetocough*, Volume 1 of the Steven Universe comic comes out in paper back on July 28th (my birthday lol). Here is the Amazon link, for you guys who don't have nearby extensive comic book stores.

It's in the same vein as the Adventure Time main comic, as it features original stories. The individual issues were split into the main author and artist's story and guest authors/artists stories. The Adventure Time volumes, at least 1 and 2, DID NOT INCLUDE THE GUEST STORIES, so I'll assume Steven Universe vol. 1 won't either.
The main story features really cool and fun art- just pulled this pic off Google for example

But the lack of the guest stories is really a bummer. At least in the Adventure Time comics, they were much more surreal and featured so many different types of artists and stories. For AT, the guest stories were eventually collected into separate volumes as well, and referred to as "B Sides". I'll be keeping my eye out for a similar collection for Steven Universe.

I got my first car more than a year before I had my license. My parents wanted me to learn to drive standard, which the driver's ed program I was in didn't teach, so they got me a Jeep Liberty with a stick shift and taught me in that. I drove it for six years, until finally it started overheating on the highway and the repairs would cost more than the car.

Also, in personal news, I'm getting married tonight! Everybody is in town already, which has been interesting, and as far as I know everything is set up and ready to go for the service!

 
The European categories for the next Splatfest are hilarious omg, I have no idea which I love more.... too bad it's (again) on a weekend where I'm not free during it. And can't cancel the Saturday plans this time. Oh well I'll get some snails for voting I guess. But STILL lame as heckie.

Also Moray Towers is now released, haven't tried it yet but will soon. I hear it's pretty puppyin' crazy though. Especially in tower control. I'm excited!!!

That's exactly how I feel, I think. The official timeline takes away the wonder of the series. It's like watching a movie with that one annoying friend who is constantly talking and explaining the movie as it's happening.

I've seen lots of forum members struggle with doing this properly, so I thought I'd explain how to upload photos properly to the forums with a method that is quick, painless, and rarely has any hiccups.
 
IF THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO SHOW IS ON YOUR COMPUTER:
 
Locate your image file in whichever folder it's stored in on your computer. Be sure to remember this for later, because it's important! Maybe write it down somewhere?
  With your parent's permission, go online to http://www.imgur.com. No account creation necessary!
  At the bar on top of the home page(http://www.imgur.com), click on the "Upload Images" button(by clicking it with your left mouse button).
  Select the "browse your computer" option(by clicking it with your left mouse button).
  Navigate to the same file location you were looking for in step 1 of this guide. Did you remember it without writing it down? Good job!
  Select that file by clicking on it with the left mouse button.
NOTE: If you would like to upload multiple photos at once, repeat steps 4-6 before continuing any further!
  Click(with your left mouse button) on the "start upload" button," and wait patiently for your photo to upload.
  Right click on your newly uploaded image, and select(with your left mouse button) the "copy image location" option.
  Start a new forum thread or new forum post on www.hyrule.net/forum, after asking your parent's permission of course!
  Click on the tiny polaroid image icon in the editor bar.
  Right click (NOT LEFT!) inside the text box that appears, and select the "paste" option. This will paste your image's location from imgur.com into the image dialogue box.
  Left click (NOT RIGHT!) on the "okay" button. IF THE IMAGE YOU WANT TO SHOW IS ALREADY ON THE WEB:
 
Instead of uploading an image from your computer, copy the image location of your desired image and paste it in imgur's "enter image urls" option, then start from step 7 above.
 
And voila! Your image should appear, just like this(except it will be whatever image you uploaded, not this one):



Your image is hosted on imgur.com, and they're a very good free image hosting service, so it should stay up for a long time. You won't have to worry about things like hot linking, or the image link expiring or anything. I've had images stay on this website for years now that I uploaded to imgur for free!

So if you ever have problems with images showing up on the forums, just use imgur.com like someone who isn't an asshat so I can stop browsing and seeing all these people with shitty broken image links all the goddamn time!
