Cracked.com did an article called "5 People Who Laugh in the Face of Their Disabilities". Number one on the list was Brolylegs, a Street Fighter and Smash Bros player. It was so weird seeing his name there. I had seen him years ago in Houston and then much later in Dallas, and then again at EVO 2014 in Las Vegas. It's a small world. I mean I don't like know him or anything.
 
He plays with his tongue and face, and doesn't do bad at all, I don't recall.

Starting to set myself a drawing quota. Today it's 10 dogs and 10 people. I've drawn 6 so far, but I'll try to respect my new regime and finish what I set myself to do today. Here are some dogs. My people drawings are all done but I'm less happy with them because they're pretty standard. So are these, but they're dogs, so.

Been eyeing this original GBA that has been sitting in the storeroom of this charity shop I work at. I asked how much they'd charge for it, and they said that I could just have it for free. I do work voluntarily after all, so you sometimes get perks like this. Got it with a few games.
 
There was always something desirable about an original GBA to me. It was my first technology barrier, before PS2 or PS3, or DS or 3DS. My first very own console was a GBC, and seeing this new one come out bewildered me. I still remember a dream I had where I desperately wanted Pokemon Ruby, and was overjoyed when I found out they did a port for GBC as well, so that I wouldn't have to save up for a GBA. When I eventually got one, it was an SP not long after they came out. I was satisfied, but wanting a GBA for so long, and having the original model as the object of my desires, left an impression on me, and I saw this GBA as a kind of lost dream.

I think I might go back to collecting DVDs, starting with various animated movies. I used to do anime, but that's spent for now until more films come out. I'm going to look into other animation now. I've ordered The Illusionist, My Dog Tulip, and Waltz with Bashir.

Yeah. I mean I can see how it would be viewed that way, but so far as greg cheating on rose with amethyst? I mean if anything while I was watching that episode I thought maybe it was going to be something more like greg and amethyst getting together after steven was born, and the episode would talk about one parent trying to date again after their so dies. I mean I haven't seen you mention the theory itself anywhere in this thread, but I'm assuming that's what you're getting at. Greg does not strike me as the type to cheat. Them just being friends makes a lot more sense.

Plus, I doubt Cartoon Network would outwardly deny a fact like that for PR reasons. It seems much more to me like they'd just explore it more in the SU comics, like what they did with princess bubblegum and marceline the vampire queen being lesbians, so they could still have it be canon without bothering parents. If the series creators come out and explicitly say "they were just friends," then that's that.

Actually Ishinomori would be the location there; the predecessor of the の particle is typically the one expressing ownership or origin, so the phrase could be read "Less of Ishinomori", if that helps. Let me know if you need any more help with your Japanese

There's an "Official" AU of Steven Universe where all the characters are in a japanese highschool anime thing.

I watched Spirited Away for the "First Time" this morning. By first time I mean I saw it over a decade ago when it first came out, and I was in fifth grade at the time. I barely remembered any of it, so when I came back to it today, it was pretty hazy. Anyways, just so we're all clear, I certainly did not cry at all during this movie. And if there was a time I would have gotten even the slightest bit emotional, it absolutely was not when kohaku river remembered his name. Very dry movie. As we all know, all ghibli movies are nothing more than heartless eyecandy, and spirited away was definitely no exception.

And apparently goku is just a ripoff of superman??? Like, what?

I have input, but for the sake of Tappy's new forum, I'll make an account on his new site and post my input there instead (even if my viewpoint isn't the one of a dedicated fan).
