I had a great time at Teto's last night! We watched Back to the Future, Zoolander, and In Bruges and a bit of Doctor who after that!
 
Also I got to play Tokyo Jungle on his PS3 and it was cool! Teto played as a predator while I tried out a grazer (I think I like Grazers more though having to run from predators is pretty tough when a pack of wolves is blocking a steetcorner.)

Okay, I'm pretty sure everyone knows how Link learns the Song of Storms from himself in OOT through the windmill man. However, this method completely contradicts the flow of time mechanics in the game, since all the other time travel related quests (getting scarecrows song, planting magic beans, etc.) require that link does an action in the past before he completes it in the future. However, to learn the Song of Storms, Link has to complete an action in the future so that he can trigger the action in the past that allows him to learn the song.

Basically, I'm asking to hear your best theories on how this isn't a plot hole, since I'm completely stumped on how this works out. I should also mention that we are absolutely sure that Link originally taught the song to the windmill man, since the guy recognizes your ocarina in the future.

The ball and chain was far from useless, maybe the most applicable weapon in your whole inventory besides the bow and clawshots. It's so great at getting behind enemies killing them fast! The Cane of Pacci was terrible, but not quite as useless as some of these other items since you could get some interesting results flipping enemies over.

A lot of people also like to argue that the Ice Arrows in OOT are useless, but I like them too much to admit that.

Also! Knuckle has just left to go back to St. Andrews, had a lovely wee weekend. :> He can vouch for how much of a shopaholic I am lol. standing there as I bought tons and tons and tons of total shite. But hey, he said he enjoyed himself so! Successful weekend I'd say! It's super cool meeting people in person. Gives you so much more perspective about everything, like. personalities feel less two-dimensional/exaggerated like on here I guess. sounds weird but it made me realize that you guys are all like, real people too, with your own lives and thoughts and feelings and I never really thought about that before. I could just come and go on here and if something/one annoyed me I could just take some time away. Online friendships are still cool but, yeah. would definitely love to meet all you lovely dudes face-to-face at least once! (o:

it can only be done with a huuuuuge gameshark code though, because you have to replace 2-3 actors with the pieces of the boss (Volvagia has to spawn with the sinking pillar in his room, Bongo Bongo needs his hands and his drum). Even bosses like Ghoma take multiple actor mods because they're just bigger than most enemies.
 
but yeah, look up ocarina of time mods sometime. Zelda's birthday is the best example of moving bosses like barinade to different places.
