    of course it also doesn't mean that every single stone has been unturned. There's games that could've been created with old tech that haven't been thought of yet.

    If I remember correctly, TP follows the Child Timeline; it's been said that when Link returned back to his own time after defeating Ganondorf as Adult Link, Link approached Zelda and informed her that Ganondorf needed to be dealt with before he destroyed Hyrule; he was arrested and was to be executed but he couldn't be executed no matter how hard their executioner(s) tried, and the Water Sage was killed in the struggle. So they banished him to the Twilight Realm and the rest from there is all chronicled (spelling?) in the events of the game itself.

    I say time and time again, Ganondorf could not simply have been arrested, leading to the events of tp. One of two things would've happened.

    1)Ganondorf was exiled from Hyrule back to the desert, but eventually built up an army and attacked hyrule. However, from this position, he was beaten and THEN the sages tried to seal him in the sacred realm.

    2)Ganondorf attacked as he did in the adult timeline, however this time the kingdom had the warning of his attack and such was beaten this time.

    This is steming from the fact part of the cutscene showing ganondorf's imprisonment says he led a huge army from the desert.

    True, the bosses were really cool to look at, but with an exception or two (like Stallord), they weren't very innovative in fighting style or very challenging to defeat. That's where I think they could've done better.

    But they were still very cool bosses.

    I loved the fact you could use the finishing move on some of them.

    Although if you use the finishing move on the first boss, so much blood comes out, I don't know how the game was still rated T.

    Also, I didn't notice a 3 hits thing much, I think it increased by one everytime for me or something.

    The popular N64 exclusive game "Banjo Kazooie" will soon be released on Xbox Live arcade. "Why is a N64 exclusive game coming out on Xbox Live Arcade and not Wii Virtual Console?" you might ask. Because f***ing Microsoft bought out Rare, the developer who made the game and was formerly Nintendo second party. Now Satan Microsoft owns Rare and every game it ever made, short of games featuring Donkey Kong. Now a perfectly good game will be release on Xbox, and not Wii, where it should be released.

    On the upside, I now have another piece of evidence that Microsoft is actually the Antichrist.

    Ok seriously, this seems really overheated because of this. Microsoft owns rare now ( we could go into large arguments about competition and money, but we'll gloss over that) and therefore rare are outputting their game onto the console that they can. It's just like porting a title from (for example) xbox360 to ps3 or between any of the consoles.

    yeah i agree... and because of a lawsuit rareware had with microsoft, they can't make nintendo donkey kong games like dk 64 or dk country, they can only make the lame bongo games or games like mario kart with the dk characters in them... totally stoopid :sadlink:

    Ok, there're so many things wrong here:

    1)I don't think that lawsuit ever existed

    2)Nintendo own the IP for donkey kong, rare just made several of the donkey kong games

    3)Nintendo can keep making donkey kong games, in fact rare had nothing do with donkey konga or anything like that, that was all created by nintendo studios

    4)Rare are still producing some games for Nintendo, namely on the DS as microsoft does not have a handheld. Recent examples include diddy kong racing and viva pinata

    It's just a game. Buy an Xbox 360 if you really want to play it again on a newer console, or possibly an N64 to play the original and stop whining over such a little thing.

    Or download an N64 emulator, like Project64 6.5, and then download the ROM, I did, got some fscking Jigsaw pieces, fsck yeah.

    dagnabit skippy, I was thinking that had been forgotten about and I could bring it up, if someone flew a plane into the statue of liberty it would probabbly bounce. Not only that, but it's a lot smaller and lower to the ground. Keeping with the whole American thing, the pentagon was another target they hit that more seem to forget about and there was another plane flying towards the white house, although it never reached it (plane was taken back by civilians and later crashed, although it's unsure whether it's course had changed at the time)

    Although I'm pretty sure the airspace around the twin towers was restricted as well, so i'm not sure how much that would change, it would've been more a case of being quick about it, but again, the statue of liberty is a lot smaller.

    Also, for anyone who didn't know, the empire state building was hit by a plane a way back (before 9/11) and is still standing.

    aaaaaaand now your second point was almost exactly what I was going to say as well. Frick.

    depends what you mean by 2d, if you mean a la "adventure of link" then just think about it, some games I don't see working in 2d.

    However, having classic gameplay that's tried and tested isn't really a bad thing. New Super Mario Bros. is brilliant for example.

    It's when you start thinking more about winding the graphics back that you could start getting some controversy. I mean there's the fact that it gives a "retro" feel, but on the other hand, it could also look a lot better really..

    Yeah, Eiji Aunouma stated that TP was at least a hundred years after OoT in the child timeline.

    Hena has a picture of the fisherman from OoT.

    You posted it in the wrong section, by the way, as this is up as a timeline theory. It would be closed by me anyway since this has no proof. It's just a thought.

    Paddymac has been warned by 9 different mods, it's not even like anyone is picking on him. It seems like he's almost gone back to being a jerk since Dustin said he'd miss him if he left. Then he wouldn't be missed...

    Elders are those that make repeated good contributions or have been around for a while. Posting as much as your are doesn't help that at all.

    Ok, this is simple. Ill say "duck", then you will say "duck" then eventually someone will say "goose" in that color. Under goose, they will say saomething that the person before them has to put in their signature for 7 days. It cant be anything offensive of course, I will be the judge of that. But there is a downside to the bigger bird. The person who says goose must pay up to the person above them, according to this scale(I will judge this as well)

    Level 1.) 10 rupees, mild embarassment

    Level 2.) 25 rupees, medium embarassment

    Level 3.) 50 rupees, very embarassing

    Level 4.) 100 rupees, humiliating

    Level 5.) 500 rupees, they are your servent, ect

    Level !.)501+ rupees (I choose amount), absolutely totally humiliating to anyone and everyone who reads this.
